I wish people taught their kids just like in the old days. Back in the old days kids knew what was a toy and what wasn't.
Exactly. My mother and her 11 siblings had hunting rifles in their home that they were instructed to never touch. And they didn't.

My mom got shot by her brother when she was nine years old and she's never forgotten about it. I think it traumatized her. People need to put their guns in a safety box and keep the key on them or something!

Whenever my gun is in my car and I’m not, it is in the locked glove compartment. The convicted felon had no business with a firearm. This was completely avoidable if he had followed that law alone. Dear Lord, my heart breaks for this family 😢😢😢😢

I hate this happened to the family. My mom taught us to never ever play with guns since we were very young. She really engrained it in our psyche so much so that even as an adult I still don’t handle them. Only if necessary. She owned two but we knew to never touch them. We were also taught about guns in school. Not sure if they do that anymore but I remember watching videos about it and our teachers constantly reiterating that they weren’t toys. this was in the 90s btw

Im so so sorry to this family. She was so beautiful. Thats why i tell my niece in 3rd grade. You don't touch no gun! If another kid is handling one you run right away. Run to an adult or just run out the door. That felon or anyone for that matter should be aware for stuff like that. When kids with me im scared of the edge of a damn table that they will crack their head playing around. Hold that young brother and get him in counseling. I know he loved his sister. Growing up I knew someone who's dad had a sawed off double barrow shotgun that he kept in his home for protection ,while he was at work one his 2 sons was playing around and saw it , the older son pick it up and pointed at his sibling head and told him I'm gonna shoot you , but the the younger son said if you do daddy is going too tear your butt up he said don't mess with his guns and for some strange reason that struck fear into the older son and he turn the gun away from his brother and said this gun ain't loaded, daddy wouldn't leave a loaded gun in the house and he pull the trigger and the force of the gun threw him backwards behind a trunk in the bedroom ,thier mother was downstairs and heard the gunshot and came running up the steps to see what had happen . Being a GOD fearing and praying woman ,it was the grace of God that intervene and turned that gun away from the younger brother head when the older brother fired the shot .a double barrel shotgun has two barrels each one has shells that's a little bigger than lipstick tubes both are filled with bean like pellets that looks like bebe 's ,had GOD not intervene you can imagine what that mother would have seen .GOD exist and GOD is good .needless to say that older brother got a JOE JACKSON whipping everytime he walked passed his father .
