February/March this year I did a ten thousand kilometre round trip from Melbourne to Perth via Esperance and Bunbury. Then on to Geraldton and back via the Great Central Road. This video brings back so many memories of that trip plus others. My first trip east the Eyre Highway was gravel going east. But on our return, three weeks later, the last of the gravel was sealed. Thanks heaps for the memories.

Having done somewhere near 100 return trips across the Nullarbor by road, this year wife and I moteled it for a change. It was interesting to see the lap you did thru the car park of the Nundroo motel. Back in 1970 on my first drive over, Nundroo was nick-named "Flagon Flats, due to the glass across the road from the motel, as that was the location where the inhabitants of Yalata (Aboriginal reservation) prefered to drink in an era prior to plasic wine casks. It would be a grave mistake, or an act of sheer desperation that would make anyone stop there overnight these days, the facilities being so run down that to me Nundroo is no more than a fuel stop, if you must. The other motels we used during the crossing Perth to Sydney and return were more than acceptable if some being a little pricey.

Plenty of corruption around today as well. Just look at the state of politics in Australia. Anyway, love your video's and just chilling watching your adventures.
