  • The gold penny experiment takes an ordinary copper penny and turns it "silver" and "gold" 😲💰 But it uses a few dangerous chemicals, which can make it unsafe for kids... 😬
    Luckily, there's a safer way to do this experiment at home! Just put the penny on a hotplate and heat it up 👌 How does it work? It's all due to thin-film interference!
