    how will i know if which reagents are for oxidizing? is there a better way to see if a reagent is an oxidizing agent? because all I know is to use PCC for oxidizing

    A ketone doesn't want to be alone. An Aldehyde likes to hide with a hydrogen.

    The water is actually what removes the hydrogen in the formation of acetals. Thanks for the help! 38:00
