Denon always moving from innovation to innovation while some people are stuck in the (rec) box
yeah and no one care about those innovation, people still trusting that box more lol
@@d_m1nhh Innovation means competition and that means creating revenue. Why do you think the CDJ-3000 exists? Probably Pioneer was half-way scared that Denon would take over the market.
We don't get to judge what other people but that does not mean people shouldn't embrace new technology to make their lives a little easier.
@@d_m1nhh what a dumb take lmao
Denons are natively compatible with RB usbs so nobrainer to me
😀😀At the very beginning I was dissatisfied with my purchase (the Denon Prime 4, but after years of patience, with the release of version 2.1 the Denon Prime 4, Engine DJ has finally made the DJ Booth as I envisioned it at the outset. OMG: What a device we have here! 👍👍
Splashed out last year on a P4, after a few updates it just gets better. #gotinthemix 👌😂
You guys should post more videos for reviews and tutorials. Good channel and content. Any links for your live sets or mixes ?
Got back into Dj'ing after a 20yr hiatus...had a Roland dj-505 [BEST controller for beginners-hands down] . Just got the Prime 4 3 months ago and still amazed at what DENON ENGINE DJ is doing with this sofytware. Cant wait to see what is next [I hope it is seeing CUE POINT TAGS on the HUD] Awesome Controller!!
bro, im the same... i DJ'ed back in 98-2000 using the technics 1200 hahhaa... the tools of today are so amazing
@@VictorDizon I had the same setup but setup in the caufon (remeber those) for mobile dj work...i hear that and imagine if we had these tools back then.... Got a Luvestream tonight if interested in reggae...thanks my friend!!!
Gostaria de saber porque os potenciometros do volume level dos canais sao tao senciveis, muito moles e qualquer toque o volume vai la em cima, existe alguma solucao ?
I would like to know why the potentiometers of the volume level of the channels are so sensitive, very soft and any touch the volume goes up there, is there any solution?
Amazing news ^_^
I'm waiting for the motorized version
Loving all Pioneer and Denon gear. Own bits of both, but I remember the CDJ 3000 getting slammed because it didn't have layered deck options. Denon have layered deck options and now you wanna add hardware like a pioneer setup? Ummm, make ya minds up peeps. PEACCCCCCCCCCCCCCCE.
Ughh, it's called flexibility, it's modular. You can literally use all their prime products and can create your dream set-up. They know what they are doing.
prime 2.2.1 is out now. and ask nicely and someone on fb will hook u up with the betas
im buyin my first controller "prime 4" even tho i d rather pioneer, the whole laptop thing sucks for me, the internal hdd on denon tipped the scales for me. was gonna buy a prime go but there's no independent channel fairy lights so you cant eq your mixes properly, on a £1000 controller!
Looks like digital turn tables on the side, like how some old school djs would do
PIONEER ERA is ENDED ! i will buy SC6000M !
Prime 4 with 4 decks. No company made a 4 deck controller before with 4 Serpentes jog wheels. Plus less wires, connections , less stuff to carry.
Had the prime 4 for a week & returned it , didn't like jog wheels(to small) & the faders felt kind of flimsy. Other than that it was a dope piece of equipment.
And that, is why its so cheap. Its just shit
total opposite for me the rx3 feels cheap. the prime 4 feels like an audi compared to a volkswagen
hi, ill be the guy in comments section today that talks about their bad expereince with denon.
i used to use a traktor s2, was finally time for an upgrade. got super into the denon range and all my research was about whether to get the prime 2 or 4. I got super gung ho about how they "coming for pioneer" and going to take over the industry.
I got the 2 and out the gates the display would lag here and there, a day into using it I started having deck freezing problems that got more and more frequent. The thing just kinda kept crapping out in all sorts of ways. I did all the trouble shooting methods out there, but nothing changed. It got so bad that I rarely went 3 tracks in a row without it doing something it wasnt supposed to. It was a headache. also yes all the tracks were pre analyzed in the engine software.
Maybe mine was just defective, but I didn't feel like playing some back and forth. I returned the prime 2 and got an xdj-rx2 instead. the second i started using it, i understood why pioneer runs the show (ha). the thing just worked, no jitters or deck freezes, no issues loading tracks or anything. just responsive, reliably functioning controls. from using the traktor which was kinda buggy, to the prime which felt like it was still in alpha, then going to the pioneer, i really appreciate the relaibility of their products and i get it now. the high pricing and lack of modern day features is a small price to pay for having the thing you bought working every time you use it.
Bulshit....
You have had defective Prime 2 unit. Unfortunately, this happens sometimes. Unfortunately, this sometimes happens with other High-end audio manufacturers. I know several owners of Pioneer DJ equipment who have different, big and small issues. The vast majority of Denon DJ Prime series products work highly reliable and without the slightest problems.
I own almost all Denon DJ products, as well as completely own all products Denon DJ prime series. I have never had any serious hardware or software problem.
Everything works as expected. Never sound interruption, freezing, or similar problems.
Sounds like the problems I had with the ddj1000 before I switched to the Prime 4. 😆
Did they implement streaming via ITunes as yet.
That's not going to happen... iTunes doesn't exist anymore and Apple music isn't likely to allow DJ's to stream to 3rd party DJ hardware
@@UONeal How about the Apple Music streaming they promised.
@@TeleporterM11 I don't know that apple music streaming was ever promised... Maybe iTunes library conversion
@@UONeal Yes Yes it was promised and I am waiting for them to fulfill that promise.
@@TeleporterM11 you might as well wait for the second coming of christ while your at it
1st like whoop whoop
Whoop whoop! 💪
I’m not sure what just happened 😬
In my opinion the log wheel size difference doesn’t look right. If Denon did a version of the lc6000 specifically for the P4 size jog wheels and not sc6000 I would buy.
Well it was originally meant to pair with the SC6000, but they gave their users flexibility to create their workflow the way they want it.
Give me a Denon that analyses tracks accurately and I'll consider. Looks great otherwise
It does Trust Denon listens to there Customers and Pioneer doesnt
Mine analyzes perfectly. What machine did you use? Pioneer can't even analyze on their machines.
@@vannhollandiii3711 prime 4 with Engine 1.5x. I re-analysed my whole library. Didn't bother converting from Rekordbox xml. I had 40% of my tracks analyse 30-40bpm out, meaning tapping the BPM for far too many tracks to have faith in using it. So I sold the Prime4 and went back to Pioneer, with no issues.
@@projectsteadfast3142 hey whats up I used to hate the denon because of the same problem your having with tracks being inaccurately analyzed but they did FIX this issue in the 2.0 update trust me your running off a very early version of the software and alot has changed. Check back in with me if this helps!!!
For god's sake, why don't they make extenders with the same size wheel as the prime 4. You would think that they could foresee such an issue.
@@djstuc The issue is that the LC6000 unit’s design does not match the Prime 4’s. Look at 2:16 in the vid. The LC6000 is higher, and in general the deck controls are placed differently. They should make an LC4 that has the same layout as a Prime 4 deck, i.e. jogs, pads, pitch fader, etc.
the LC6000 was made to pair with the SC6000. You people are interesting lol. You don't even know their product listing but are complaining.
@@djstuc It is not ocd dumb dumb. I dont get notifications from YT, so I didn't respond. The issue is I do not use the sync function, and actually mix. I like uniformed decks for this. I do not want to waste time building muscle memory to 2 different platters, that are different in feel/torque. Also, back when there was a time that travel was a thing, i would have to have flight cases. Having the same size decks is better.
@@djstuc Yes, muscle memory. The word muscle may confuse you. It just means a repeated sequence of actions that is retained in the mind. Every button, knob, and fader stored in your mind. Same thing is used in shooting a bow, , golf, target shooting, producing music/or performing(mpc drum machine),spinning, jiu jitsu …. I have been mixing since 1995, and the type of music is dancehall/hip hop. Most DJ's today cannot use 4 decks without sync, much less 2 decks.. I am not bragging at all, I came up in an era where skill mattered, not marketing. In todays dj environment the majority of DJ's use sync, and so so many big DJ's are just marketing, and use pre-recorded sets. That is not real mixing. That is like a singer lip syncing. In dancehall juggling it is around 30 seconds, or less between transition of tracks. Using 4 decks in a uniform setup is optimal. Also having all the pads in the larger Prime 4 pads is better for performing. Any dj/selector would prefer the same size decks for both performing, and travel. Honestly mate, you are just embarrassing yourself.
@@djstuc You need help mate!
Denons updates most piss me off
I just wanna play tunes not sit and upload to engine
DJ's are useless.
