      @@flightofthefatman because 5 schools in SA buy all the best there is.We beat them with size in 90% of school boy games..as NZ get bigger and more skill we just stay big and tty dominate with running over players which evidently is why they are number one and we are not.The vision in NZ rugby is trained from a young age..we give the ball to the biggest player..he runs over all at craven week and we get excited..yes being strong and physically dominating opposition is important but NZ showed us skill and vision wins most of the time.

      @@stefanfourie6497 That is only half so. If you really follow u20 rugby you'll notice SA focus on developing players in all sorts of areas. Last year we outclassed the baby ABs with skill. This year we bring muscle through. SA rugby asses what type of players they are in short stock of and then focus on developing those players in the u20. Previous years we brought through a lot of prop and outside backs/play-makers. This year we are focusing on ball carrying locks and centers specifically. Notice also how the last two years 10s we took the junior rwc were stepping/offloading running type fly-halfs and this year we are playing physical/kicking fly-halfs.

    @acadoe Před 5 lety

    Having watched the whole game, I can say that this scoreline flattered the Baby Blacks. Seriously, in that first half, it was like men against boys. The Boks had 14 men for like 30 minutes of the game and even during those times when they were down a man, they were outplaying the Blacks. The defense of the Boks were solid throughout the game, the Blacks hardly looked like getting through the defense. If I look at the performances of the two teams, you can see some real potential stars coming through the Boks, I thought the Scrumhalf was amazing, so was the number 4 lock and number 6 flanker. These guys had really professional performances and I cannot think of an equivalent player from the Baby Blacks. I would not be surprised if the Boks win this competition.

      Agreed completely, but watching how their SR teams play, I really am not surprised. The SA 10 deserved his yellow card, but I honestly would like referees to watch a move like that, where the obstruction was the second professional foul while playing advantage for the first one, and produce a card for continued cynical play. Giving a penalty only will never stop them from doing it.
