Thank you Elisa. 🥰 Jacque
First of all, my condolences on the passing of your mother.
I’m a fairly recent subscriber and am enjoying going back to view some of your earlier videos.
I was wondering if you might sometime be willing to do a video on how you cut down and use thrifted frame finds. I always look and purchase frames, but they are seldom the right size when I go to FFO a piece. 😊
Thank you so much Janice for your condolences. If you want to know more about resizing frames go over and watch Contented Needleworker Kim. She has a great video tutorial where she explains what tools you need and how to do it. She is fabulous!! I will post a link to her video in my drop down box as soon as I post this to you. 🙂🪡🪡🪡
Jacque....I am so sorry about your Mom. What a wonderful gift from your stitchy friends that you will be stitching in memory of your Mom. Beautiful finishes! Thanks for sharing about the light as well! Happy Stitching!

@@CrossMyStitches And I know what you mean. It was six years this past Monday that my Mom passed away and I miss and think about her every day.
Beautiful finishes, especially your framed pieces. TFS.
Thank you 🪡🪡🪡
Jackie- so sorry for your loss-always hard to lose our parents. You certainly channeled your grief into a positive outcome with all those finishes! Nothing short of amazing! And your current projects were fun to see as well. So nice of your stitchy friends to gift you what they did. Those friends are the roses in life! Thanks for your contribution to the FT community!🧵🪡❤️
Thank you Susan. It is greatly appreciated. 🥰
I’m so sorry about your mom. I also hope you are feeling better
Thank you Wanda. 🥰
Sorry for your loss 😢
Thank you.
Very sorry to hear of the loss of your mother. No matter our own age, that loss is very hard to take. So many beautiful projects shared today. Good for you on fully finishing so many of them. 🥳. Would love to learn more about cutting down existing frames. Custom framing is so crazy expensive. I’m wondering if the paint or other finish is damaged as you cut. Should we assume a cut frame will need to be painted or refinished? Might be a great idea for a tutorial on an upcoming UTube!
Thank you so much for the condolences. I love that cutting down frames is a way to minimize the cost of framing and would say if you are interested in learning more to go and watch Contented Needleworker Kim here on flosstube. She has a tutorial and she does a great job of explaining what tools you need and how the process works. I find that sometimes I need to paint the frame because of how the saw cuts the wood and sometimes I do not. It all depends on the wood in the frame and how it interacts with the blade. Kim does talk about miter saws as well as the less expensive hand saws and miter box so go check her out. thanks for watching! Jacque
May love cup your heart and hold it gently ❤
Thank you Sarah!
Hey Jackie!! I’m so sorry to hear about your Mom. It was Great to see you and all your fabulous finishes. Especially love The Drawn Thread and immediately pulled it out of my stash.
Thank you Linda. So happy to see you post here my friend. ❤️
Do you have a tutorial for cutting down frames? If not I’d love to see one!!! Love your finishes!!!
No, sorry. But I will direct you to Contented Needleworker Kim here on Flosstube. She did a great tutorial on resizing frames and the tools you need. Please do a search for her and you should find it. Thanks for watching! Jacque
