Ian is to me what Ritchie may be to you. Ritchie has lost a lot of my respect over the years. Now he has lost his mind thinking he is living in the 16th century. But true, this is a great song....great voice and wow, to have jeff Play this song was a great idea...fantastic.
The Deep Purple studio version of this song is good, but that's all it is. This song was NEVER performed Live by Ritchie. Satriani and Morse have done brilliant live renditions Live, but this is by far the best I've heard, and I love Ritchie, but the studio version is only ok. Imagine what Ritchie could have done Live, but never did... R.I.P. Jeff!
If THIS doesn't move you, you're already dead !!!! AMAZING !!
When a blind man plays the guitar as beautiful as Jeff and passes away there ain't a sadder tale. RIP Jeff. You were a true master.
Gillan and Healey, just amazing !
R.I.P. Jeff, one of a kind.
Ritchie is my whole life, but this was......WOW :) JUST WOW,I never expected something so nice
oh dear god "when a blind man cries" thats what Healey´s doing.
R.I.P see ya in heaven.
Wonderful, amazing! Thanks for that!!!
Who would have thought a Purple tune written so long ago would have had so much meaning today.
Cheers, Frazzo.
I was there! Great concert!
This really tears my heart apart, it' so touching.
Fantastic Jeff you are great!
Superb !
the best!!

Gillan seems to be crying at the end of this and quickly steps back from the camera view. Did anyone else notice that?
How did I miss this???
Sh.t...
just so good....thx squint666
I would like to hear Lesly West play a solo over this progression. I t think it would suit him very well.
Absolutely!
Хили лучший - никто ТАК не играл блюз, как он
Alguien podría bajar el tema cuando se canto en el concierto del 6 de abril de 1972 en Quebec, Canadá, Gracias.
@marcusmalmros I half agree, thats how any good soul wailing guitarist cries, that one just happens to be blind
Glad to see Healy back on guitar. The trumpet did nothing for me.
