Losing Sanders and Gardner-Johnson was huge. They were leaders on their side of the ball and brought attitude. Passing on Porter Jr. to draft Nolan Smith was a puzzling move.

My mindset is Perspective B, I worry too much about the future. A win is never a win if the battle was ugly, all the underlining issues will be brought up in the future games hence the 2023 collapse.
I agree 100% , especially if “winning ugly” becomes a consistent theme. It’s one thing to have a down week and still win- all teams do it here or there. However, what separates the good teams from great teams is the ability to improve their issues throughout the course of the season, and turn those ugly wins into complete wins.
