The advisory is for all of Mexico and does not reflect life in Zihuatanejo/Ixtapa! Once a year stay at Embarc Diamond Resort Zihua and love it, we were there Feb,26 to Mar,6 2020 now after 14 days of isolation we are social distancing! Can't wait to go back, enjoyed your video! Cheers from Canada!

Aww thanks for the Canadian shout out! I'm Canadian and I love Mexico too! I've been three times and stayed in Tulum, Cancun and Isla Mujeres. Your videos are awsome! I'm loving your them! So many amazing places to try next! I hope when this C****** business is over I can get a good flight over to Acapulco or Zihuatanejo! They look amazing! Which do you think had the better scenery and smaller local restaurants?

Andrea Silk Thank you. I can’t wait to hit the road again myself. With regards to choosing between Acapulco or Zihua, my favorite is Acapulco of course but I have many friends there so I am biased. I would say compare flight and hotel prices and let the best town win. You will enjoy either location. Thanks again for watching my videos.

Hey Andy, how ya doin? Thank you for putting this video out there. I think I mentioned before that my husband and I are planning our first visit to Mexico this coming September. We asked our daughter and her husband if they wanted to join us and his first response was , no thanks, I’ll keep my kidneys. They believe all the stories about how dangerous Mexico is and it breaks my heart that they won’t even entertain the idea that they could be wrong. We’re glad one of our sons knows better and is joining us. There’s another CZcamsr who lives in Ajijic, Jerry, and one year he talked about it in one of his videos and even read current news reports from both local news as well as out of the American afar by that you mention who reports on ‘safety’ in Mexico. It was great!!! Hahahaha! Anyhow, thank you again and keep up the great work! 🙏🏼❤️

The advisories are more just a CYA thing for the US Government. They want to be able to say "we told you so" if something does happen, no matter how remote the possibility may be. I truly wish they'd be more careful with issuing them because they actually do effect travel insurance coverage. So really, the US Government is putting us in danger of not being covered by travel insurance when we need it because they cry wolf on the safety warnings.
