Love watching these bikes come back to life. That really cleaned up good. Loving that color and the two tone on the tank. Looking forward to the next installment video. Thanks for sharing.
This why i like my Harley's bare bones. I only have a couple of wires and i can see exactly where they go. I don't need speakers or a radio or a air compressor for air shocks. Just a speedometer is all i really need
Excited for a new build. Love the bagger projects...However, I just despise the stretched fender look. It's just me, I've always hated the big front wheel with stretched rear end. But you always manage to make everything look cool. So I'll keep an open mind, lol.
I don't see a tore up bike, I see a filthy bike that needs to be cleaned first. It is funny you don't clean the bike before working on it. I guess you think it makes the bike look worse then it actually is. Each their own.
Cool video... what some of us would like to see is a video of what to watch for if we wanted to buy a wrecked bike. Like don’t buy this, or this gets too expensive to repair. Special concerns when buying an auction bike... please and thank you
Looks like a nice project bike. If the frame is good then you should be good. Edited to add, cable tags are your friend here, you can label each end of the cable etc. service manual has a lot of info, but costs a bit to get; I still buy them for each motorcycle I own though.
Loved following along on the last build. It turned out sweet as hell. Are you going for a big wheeled Street Glide look on this one or are you gonna go back with the original Ultra look? I would like to see you do follow ups after you sell the bikes letting us know what you paid, put in, and got out of each build. Love the channel. Keep ‘em coming!
I am new to your channel you said you only buy 99 to 2008 can you explain why before I pull the trigger on a new road glide any information would be greatly appreciated again thank you very much for your time
I never have ridien with music like that, RIding since 1970 ha ... So did I undstand you right, Those systems are inherently prone to fire? Keeping you in buisness i guess. Been looking for a new project. Thanks man Ah ha used car lot
Hola saludos espero me tomes en cuenta me gustó mucho el tu trabajo la VDD espero verlo asta el final saludos desde el Caribe de Puerto Morelos Quintana Roo México
Stereo’s date the bike. Those boom boxes still sold by Harley are a waste. With communication systems, car play, Apple play, smart TFT dashes, ear pods, etc., boom boxes are dead. I guess I like the road king, no excess clutter.
If you’re not looking for a crazy fat back stretch and you want to be budget friendly there’s a guy out of lake havasu Arizona that builds a nice bag. His name is Jose Flores on Facebook look him up.
Following this reply! I know CoPart handles a lot of things when you get a certificate of title to send off, but what if the bike is registered as totaled, but there isn't any frame damage and the bike is completely restored. Is there a way to have it inspected by someone with the state dept of motor vehicles and have it retitled as maybe even just salvaged instead of totaled?
jsandidge1, the process is different for every state but most states require you to document the process. This includes; taking before/during/after pics, receipts for ALL the parts from a retail source in which sales tax is paid, and then get an inspection. A quick google search for your state should give you the steps or a link to the dmv page where the steps and requirements are located.
How about a few details on the bike, I didn't hear a year or cost or the up coming price. I guess you got this bike from Copart? Just subscribed, looks like a channel I'll enjoy. I'll have to back up and catch some of your other builds. LOL, the more of channels like yours I find on CZcams the less TV I watch. Good stuff.
@Budget Rebuilds I'm glad I looked for comment before I asked... thinking about rebuilding some bikes. I do alot to mine and buy them in good shape and wind up with alot of extra parts that I paid for in a big pile... I just need to start with good frame and motor and go from there
I love your channel, I cannot wait to get into something similar just in my backyard, curious where do you look for your bikes? Usual Craigslist, Ebay or Copart. Thanks!
I think I speak for everyone whose ever delt with wires in any way. We felt your pain weaving them out of the bag holes 😂 the frustration
Love watching these bikes come back to life. That really cleaned up good. Loving that color and the two tone on the tank. Looking forward to the next installment video. Thanks for sharing.
Me and a mate stripped my roadking for repainting. He'll of a job. I'm looking fwd to see what your gonna do
This why i like my Harley's bare bones. I only have a couple of wires and i can see exactly where they go. I don't need speakers or a radio or a air compressor for air shocks. Just a speedometer is all i really need
Looks good under the dirt!!

Excited for a new build.

The color matches your floor pretty good.
I don't see a tore up bike, I see a filthy bike that needs to be cleaned first. It is funny you don't clean the bike before working on it. I guess you think it makes the bike look worse then it actually is. Each their own.
I like the way you have patients

Cool video... what some of us would like to see is a video of what to watch for if we wanted to buy a wrecked bike. Like don’t buy this, or this gets too expensive to repair. Special concerns when buying an auction bike... please and thank you
Ok. We’re thinking about doing a Q&A soon so we’ll had this to the questions if we do.

That would look great painted 2018 Ford Ruby Red. I love black but there's alot black bikes
Looks like a nice project bike. If the frame is good then you should be good.

The wiring schematic in factory manual was exactly what is needed for this job was my thinking too.
I hate dealing with vehicle electrics. Almost had a nervous breakdown when the front of that fairing
came off !
You and us both! 🤣
Not really important as obviously a TC but what model year is the bike? Just curious.
It’s a 2006.
Yeah get rid of that big school bus light bar on the back,😁🤙
Looks really good and shiny. When you finish it will looks awesome... 100% nice job dude :~)
Thank you!

Good bike💪👍super video!Like 100%👍
It probably could have used a few more speakers!
what are the owners of those bikes doing? seems like they just drop them and break some plastic and give up
Gonna be another nice bike, if you have a set 12-14" ape hangers let me know. I need a set for a 2007 ultra classic, thanks!!!!
Man, I bet guys that know how to repair all the wires and electrical stuff get to charge whatever they want. :)
P A N H E A D S F O R E V E R💜
Famous last words... i will just figure it out later.
Were those shorts in one the side bags?

I am new to your channel you said you only buy 99 to 2008 can you explain why before I pull the trigger on a new road glide any information would be greatly appreciated again thank you very much for your time

I never have ridien with music like that, RIding since 1970 ha ... So did I undstand you right, Those systems are inherently prone to fire? Keeping you in buisness i guess. Been looking for a new project. Thanks man Ah ha used car lot
I would like to see it finished. Are you selling all the parts you have removed?
Hola saludos espero me tomes en cuenta me gustó mucho el tu trabajo la VDD espero verlo asta el final saludos desde el Caribe de Puerto Morelos Quintana Roo México

Can you get these totalled bikes re-titled once they are finished?
Following this reply! @@johnh2349 you are correct 100%
Where you buying these from that’s a decent outfit to deal with?
There are a lot of nice parts on that bike. The missing seat is garbage.
How about a few details on the bike, I didn't hear a year or cost or the up coming price. I guess you got this bike from Copart? Just subscribed, looks like a channel I'll enjoy. We got it from IAA and we paid around $3600 for the bike, fees and transport
What was the brand of the 2nd battery? I'm thinking of using one on my bike...
Keren mang ibing uyy
what did you endup doing with speakers you pulled off this bike
We have a total of 4 good speakers so we’ll use 2 on this build and save 2 for the next build.
Where they DBdrive moto's
If you knew someone died on this bike would you still want to ride and build it?
Good question. The answer to that would be a hard NO but there’s no way to find out.
@@BudgetRebuilds I was just curious as to what you would think. I know that would creep me out. lol.
Harley Davidson
10:15 in, I’m a gonna go ahead and pull the battery out.
Where can I find the hoop bar deletes
Should be a link under the video? See it? Or no?
What did you pay for it that's one question. But the engine sounds good and I do see the potential under all that dirt . I'm hooked on this project.
We paid around $3600 after fees and transport
@Budget Rebuilds I'm glad I looked for comment before I asked... thinking about rebuilding some bikes. I do alot to mine and buy them in good shape and wind up with alot of extra parts that I paid for in a big pile... I just need to start with good frame and motor and go from there

Have you ever had someone recognize a bike that you were rebuilding?

You may have done this and I missed it and you can just send the link but have you gone from an 88 five speed to a twin cam six speed yet?
