I'm shocked Eric, what a terrible way to 'store' bikes! They are all just rotting away 😢 In the UK, our breakers would dismantle the bikes and have parts on shelves in a warehouse.
It's hard to believe but once upon a time they all were on the show room floor all nice and shiny.
I like watching vids of place like this and yet also saddened every time. It always makes me think of how many bikes actually got there while still having good complete engines, and then once there, never to live again. Only to turn to complete junk.
Every single one of these at one time was the owner's pride and joy.
Might be a bag of weed in a tool kit😮
It's a shame they've all been sitting outside for so long. Imagine if all that had been sitting in a barn, instead.
The whole place has been under water...just keep that in mind..
I just feel like crying 😢 so many beautiful motorcycles, every brand gone to heaven
There may be some jewels amongst all the junk, but finding it and then the cost and effort of restoration may be too much.
Been going there to buy stuff for over 40 years. The only thing crazier than the amount of stuff is the prices.
When I was growing up, our family business was motorcycle sales, service, and most importantly, salvage. Our shop was all indoors so none of the stuff we had got to these states of decay. Seeing this makes me homesick for the old shop and the motorcycle industry as a whole. But this place makes me sick to see so many fantastic bikes just sitting out there, rusting, rotting, and gradually being consumed by nature. I saw a few things in there I'd like to grab! Maybe some day soon 🙂
The stories that these old bikes could tell. Many that we couldn't believe are true, I imagine.
What a fantastic place I’d camp there for a few days /weeks and get everything I need to build a great bike amazing really it heaven thank you so much for taking me with you god I love this place ❤
What a great post, a restorers heaven.... can't wait for the next visit...
What a amazing place definitely worth dragging some them out thanks fir the walk around
Motor.....and yes, love to see you build a running bike from parts
Man some of those old bikes brought back a lot of memories. Some good some not so good. You know come to think of it. They are all good memories I was young and fooling with bikes couldn’t get any better. Take care and stay safe.
I just feel like crying so many beautiful motorcycles, every brand gone to heaven
