This with all its components that are clearly designed for tactical and survival usage in mind. I buy everything I can in Tasmanian Tiger, It does cost a ton more then most brands, but in airsoft you get what you pay for more then anything.. Nice review btw!

      Good choice. We've done the same since nearly the beginning when we started and it certainly pays off due to the quality. 👌 Regarding the pricing, TT is certainly not cheap compared to Airsoft gear, but most repro gear is crap anyway. But if you would compare it to other military brands it's more in the mid-range regarding pricing. Believe us, there are waaay more pricier brands out there. 😆 | Viper out

    Very nice indeed. A price range would be helpful on products, I'm aware this can date a video, but still a useful point. Hip belts that have padding are vital on any pack carrying weight, you would be surprised by how many either dont have them, or just have thin straps that cut you in half. A good belt should hold the pack upright taking 90% of the weight, leaving gaps under your shoulders, those straps simply for stability. What colours it comes in would gave been handy, I'll look them up. For me, on my last medium pack I ordered I wanted mesh side outer pockets. I like accessing water bottles on route, I dont use bladders. Good review. Impressive kit. Made me want to know more.

      Thanks, yes a price and color range would indeed be useful as well. We might have been so focused on the features of the bag pack we forgot to mention that. 😂 Funny that you mention the fact about the straps, when I first carried the bag pack I was thinking why can't a get the straps to rest on my shoulders. Guess I know why now, Thanks! 👍 | Instinct out

    Hi, are you still using this backpack Tasmanian tiger mission pack mk2? The backpack did not tear, did not wipe it? How to wear it comfortably? Does the burn out on the Sun? How do you like the quality of cordura? How long have you been using it?

    • @ReconBrothers
      @ReconBrothers  Před 4 lety +2

      Hi, we've been using the backpack since this summer, so it's not been a very long time but for now we definitely can't complain. The quality of the Cordura is very good, like on nearly all the products from Tasmanian tiger they used 700Den Cordura, which is as they say the ideal combination between the lightweight 500D Cordura and the strength of the 1000D Cordura. We have no damage yet on the backpack, but neither did we put it to use in rough terrains. | Instinct

    • @ReconBrothers
      @ReconBrothers  Před 4 lety +1

      The water bag comes from Source Tactical Gear in Israel, but other brands also seem to use the exact same technology with other colors. So you will have to see whether it's worth to buy it in Israel. | Instinct out

    I'm looking for a general use backpack (edc), so not for any airsoft or militairy use, is it worth paying this much money for a bag? Does this mean it will outlast bags that cost half the price?

    • @ReconBrothers
      @ReconBrothers  Před 3 lety

      This one will certainly provide more comfort with heavier loads and endure much longer due to it being build for military use, but it also depends on the amount of liters you require and how much you'll be using the pack. And although this one is great for what we do, we also offer various other packs from this brand that may come closer to your needs or budget whit the same quality. Have a look at shop.reconbrothers.com/body/3rd-line-gear/ to compare them. 😉 I Viper

    Heavy weight goes in the center of the backpack, not at the bottom of the pack.

    • @ReconBrothers
      @ReconBrothers  Před 4 lety

      Heavy weight in the center is mainly for external frame backpacks. For the ones with an internal frame like this one, it's more recommended to have heavy weight stored on the bottom of the pack. | Viper

    Please don't call it 'military'. It is NOT military. No military uses it. It is 700D, which is not milspec material. Call it tactical. Don't call it military.
