- Malkie Bow had a Birthday and there was nothing for it but to put together a tribute video! Seen here with the inspired dance moves of dancers from the 1970s Soul Train TV show and Duncan Nicholson's great performance of my composition, "Sergeant Malkie Bow's Consternation".
It makes me so happy that this is a thing! We need more of this energy in the world...
My favorite hornpipe!! Malkie!!
Aaaw! I'm honoured/honored to know that, Donna!
@@dunaber I lived in Canada for 8 years (and wish I was still there) . . . you can say honoured . . . hahahaha

Amazing! Favorite hornpipe ever!
Honoured!
Incredible hornpipe (believe off "Shambolica")
...one of the most innovative and creative pipers around!👍
Thanks very much, Ken!
70's Saturday afternoon dance class.👍
Can't.
Stop.
Watching.
LOVE THIS - thanks Michael.
It's just great fun, isn't it Wake-uppers! Dunky told me he worked on this arrangement on a train ride from Glasgow Queen Street Station to Oban as part of his journey to catch the ferry to Castlebay, Isle of Barra.
Hey Brother, that is the coolest and grooviest tune I've ever heard. I dig that shit.
I was quite tickled to reach the composer by phone in ~2004 to ask about the ‘alternative ‘ ending I was hearing on his CD vs the score I had. Mike had no problem immediately sending me his original handwritten score ...with the alternate annotated therin. 😁 I loved learning that tune.
:-) I hope you're still playing the tune!
Love this
Omg! 😂 funky
Isn't that a Michael Grey tune?
Yes it is :-)
