Cool concept, honestly, never heard of anyone trolling for grouper. I always figured they sit on structure and unless you drop something near them they won’t put much chase into it. Great vid!
Big Bend area guides troll a lot it's easy to get limit I don't enjoy it it's like reeling in a board

Will a grouper chase a lure from 80’ deep to a 30’ swimming lure? I’ve heard gag will chase a bait but a red grouper won’t
That pink lure is brown below 15 feet. Reds are lost past 15 feet. It looks nothing like you see it at the surface. Green color goes the deepest, and still looks green.
Are the DTX lures sinking or floating?
Curious what you do about weed on the line? When I try this I pick up weed nonstop, as soon as week is on the line/lure the lure pops up to the surface.. very frustrating
