***** they are unicorns. Question any "stock evo" you see because most have been modded and returned to stock before being sold.
Matt Rupp Well, at least it isn't slammed with a large "performance" fart can exhaust (I'm aware they aren't the same, but they all look the same to me) that can shoot flames with a needlessly remodeled interior that essentially screams "fast and the furious wannabe". Most of all, it isn't destined for the scrap heap after it's been tuned to the point of being essentially trash or being crashed after "racing".
EmperorXaozx you can pick up 15+ hp from running a turbo back exhaust without a cat. Shooting flames is pointless but kinda cool. What about this interior screams fast and furious wannabe?

Also I would add the almost compulsive desire to "LS1 SWAP" almost every japanese sports car of the past or essentially taking that respective cars engine for a "project" thus leaving another empty shell of a good automobile and perhaps try and sell it for a few grand. It's frustrating to look for these cars unmolested by their upgrades.

I used to have an '06 Evo IX MR-SE and watching this review makes me appreciate and miss it more - even though i've only had it for a few years before letting it go (couldn't afford it back then). One day hopefully, i will reunite with it.

I had an Impreza 2.0R about 8 years back and i wanted to test-drive an Evo IX. Got one dealer to get me the ONE and only dealer-car that was available for test-drives and journalists here in Finland. Took the Mitsubishi to my Subaru dealer i was semi-friends with and let him test-drive the "enemy" for the first time in his life.
It payed out few months later when i took my car for a yearly service and with out me knowing about it the guy had gotten me one and only dealer WRX STi in Finland to drive around for couple of hours while they worked on my car...
Ah, good memories...

Didn't think anyone could actually sit in the back seat's this is good to know, most people skip this segment I was gonna skip the Evo 9 and go for the x but, now that I know the rear seats in the Evo 9 are usable I'll have to think about it again.
Its to bad Mitsubishi stepped away from building performance cars.... I did see that they had a concept for a 2016 eclipse. So lets hope that gets built with some sporty love.

As much as I like the Evo, however, the only thing stopping me from buying one is the price. XD Still, I'm fine with my 2014 Lancer ES.
But even with the Evo's imminent departure, do not despair, everyone. There is still hope for Mitsu's return to sportscars (I learned something from a salesman at my local Mitsu dealer that surprised me, but I cannot confirm it 100%)...

in Tokyo drift, Sean drove this in the movie, but it is red with different bumpers and rear bumpers, with black and White graphics, but it got crashed, the guy who was driving this, it is Lucas black.

Hey Kyle, I know you already have a review of the Evo X GSR, but this is the last year of it's production, can you please, PLEASE, do another review of the 2015 MR version, as a farewell to this rally hero? I'm so sad that it's going but I'm very possible that I'll get one soon, it will be so much meaningful to all us Evo lovers if you make a video of one.
I feel that as you make more videos Kyle, it's becoming a little too professional. I really miss the dealer start up videos and cold start series! Nowadays, it's just becoming routine. I really do love your videos, but it'd be better if you were more personalized like before.

Lancer Evolution is always my favorite Japanese car and it's a very sad news to see it discontinued. Mitsubishi better make a 4WD super coupe as awesome as the Nissan GTR or a great badass nimble sport coupe like Toyota GT 86 (Subaru BRZ) to replace this great and iconic car.
I know that you already review the 2008 Lancer Evolution X GSR but could you review the last and most powerful Lancer Evolution which is the 2015 Lancer Evolution X FQ 440 MR? It might be a bit hard because it's only available in UK but the same vehicle will be available next year as a special edition (or final edition) in US.
