Fujifilm Finepix S1800 Read Error Fix

My son's camera had a weird issue that wouldn't allow new pictures to be save and previewed. Apparently it was a read error and it was very easy to fix..

It worked for me thank you very much! Its not a permanent fix because it seems tl go back tl having the read error problem but it still allows me to see the pictures, and for those asking it didn't erase any photos when reset.

I have this camera, had it for a few years now..... I have found I tend to get Read Errors now but I'm pretty sure its to do with me taking dodgy photos on wrong settings so the camera doesn't like it .......

If I reset the camera will it delete all the pictures originally on it? this is my dad's camera and I really don't want to delete anything by mistake.

it shouldn't delete the pictures that are on the sd card but any pictures that are in the cameras internal memory will probably be lost..when I reset my sons camera i backed up the pictures to my computer just in case
