    On this awesome flight, I'm on my first retrofitted American 77-2! It's been about 8 years since I've been on an American 777 and it's also the largest aircraft I've ever been on! The open bar at the boarding door is really what caught my eye with the mood lighting and the overall design of it. It would be nicer if the rest of the cabin could have some more color to it but that's my only grip on the appearance. We were delayed at the gate before boarding for 20 min for a maintenance problem. Once we reached 17R you can see the line of 12 aircraft we were waiting for to takeoff. After waiting for about 40 min we began taxiing to the runway to only to find out we were backtracking back to the other end of the runway to 35L due to a dramatically strong wind change with winds now coming from the north. This added another long delay which ultimately made me come to the realization that I wouldn't be able to make my connection to EYW which happened to be the last flight of the night. The rest of the flight however was amazing! I forgot how awesome flying on the 777 was! The wing looks beautiful and those RR Trent 700 engines look and sound absolutely amazing! The crew was great and very friendly. The IFE has plenty of shows and movies to watch and different genres to choose from. The seats were decently comfortable but only had enough legroom to fir my legs in. Overall the flight was great and a lot of fun!

    Apologies for any sloppy camera work and for the windows fogging up a bit in Miami. Hope you still enjoy!

    Amazing video. That wing from that seat is just massive! Holy wow!

    Another great video thanks for taking us along for the ride. Looks like AA is still king at DFW. That place has changed a lot. I see the airport turned American Eagle's old satellite terminal into a general aviation terminal.

    I took this flight last month from MIA-DFW. I sat in a middle seat in the middle row. Other than missing my usual window seat, it was a great flight. I was excited to be on a domestic widebody. I only wished they'd serve a meal like every other airline outside of the United States seems to.

    I was on tour last year in USA used AA internally from LA to Hawaii then Vegas (change via LAX) ended in Miami changed LA for Vegas. Flew in from London Heathrow to Los Angeles and back from Miami to Heathrow with BA. Meant to fly non stop service from Las Vegas to Miami but there was a change before the holiday to be made in Dallas. Initially I wasn't happy but turned out to be worthwhile when I found out the plane DFW to MIA was to be a B777. Up until then I'd never been on any 777 variant so was in the end I was glad it happened

      @Leeann Jacket well they don't use B747s anymore I can tell you. Other types of B777s are still there in addition they use B787s, A330s and A350 1000s between Heathrow to Los Angeles with Virgin and also A380s on selected routes.

    • @rajnirvan3336
      @rajnirvan3336 Před 3 lety

      @Leeann Jacket BA and Virgin retired their 747s this year saying due to the current circumstances which broke my heart. I luckily got the opportunity to fly back from Miami last year on 1 as I kinda knew that they were on borrowed time. BA was supposed to retire theirs in 2024

    AA did a stellar job on giving these older birds a makeover. Let's hope DL can do the same when they begin renovating theirs next year.

      Nathan Blalock Yeah the did a brilliant job for sure! I really hope they do because I went on one of their A332's and 767-4 and their interiors desperately needed a makeover for sure.

    Dallas to MIA on a 777? wow why not a 1977 PSA TRI-STAR from BUR-SAN DIEGO?

    That wing is so big. The passenger next to you probably couldn’t see anything since the wing is blocking the view.

    I don't mean to offend you, but that was Dallas-Fort Worth International, not Dallas. Dallas has a separate airport, and the title could be confusing to some viewers. Other than that great job on the video though.

  • @AIGeneratedBITCoinApproved

    Why the wing? If you're going to shoot flight video's don't sit on top of the wing.
