Burberry Sales Fall Amid Weak Demand in China and US

Burberry Group warned of a challenging first half after the British luxury brand reported tumbling sales on weak demand in China and the US. Comparable store sales in the quarter ended in March fell 12% from a year earlier. Burberry also forecast a decline of about 25% in wholesale revenue in the first half of its fiscal year. Bro who tf is going to buy a Burberry polo shirt that's costs the same or more than a Hermes polo shirt, for example. None of their new stuff looks good. Also, I remember 10 years ago (probably more but that's all I can remember) Burberry was a 'second tier' luxury brand both in terms of price and quality - disregard the $100k peacock feather trench coats. The price is not justifiable given the alternatives.
