Burberry Sales Fall Amid Weak Demand in China and US

  • Burberry Group warned of a challenging first half after the British luxury brand reported tumbling sales on weak demand in China and the US. Comparable store sales in the quarter ended in March fell 12% from a year earlier. Burberry also forecast a decline of about 25% in wholesale revenue in the first half of its fiscal year.     Bro who tf is going to buy a Burberry polo shirt that's costs the same or more than a Hermes polo shirt, for example. None of their new stuff looks good. Also, I remember 10 years ago (probably more but that's all I can remember) Burberry was a 'second tier' luxury brand both in terms of price and quality - disregard the $100k peacock feather trench coats. The price is not justifiable given the alternatives.

      yes, china is declining. so please tell all branded outlet to get out of china. adidas, nike, costco, tiffany, burberry, prada, hermes, etc, all please get out of china.
