i am also facing range drop issue, but service center people doesnt help. they say its normal, they teach us how to improve driving ev which is stupid. i think they cant help if total range is not dropped significantly or if battery percentage drops suddenly. my nexon ev is giving 190km range now at 130Wh/km after 36000kms.
Nexon EV has LFP batteries and has passive balancing BMS.Cell balancing occurs from 92 to 100 % while charging and hence it is always required to charge the battery to 100% whenever possible.Otherwise battery issues can occur.
Hi Manish.. I got battery replaced yesterday. It was hassle free.. under warranty so no need to spend anything.. I will make a video and explain the process
That is probably due to faulty battery issue.. raise a complaint about battery issues with the service centre.. make a video or photos about the problem and show them.. I got battery replaced without much difficulty
same for me at 30 % the service guy told me to drive car at 60km speed from 100% to 30% and then charge the battery till 100 and do this for 4 cycles and c heck weather it is stopping at 30 or going down till 0
@@Daddycoolajay Since I had shown them this video, they took a day and drove my car below 20% battery and confirmed that there was an issue. They raised the issue with Tata Motors and gave my car back. After 15 days the battery arrived and they replaced it.
@@________4809 no.. I wanted EV only.. sometimes I regret not buying EV max ( Long range vehicle).. EV prime is perfect for my day today use.. for Long trip it is bit inconvenient

I faced same issue. I use nexon max. 10 to 0 I got only 5km.
I know few people who had same issues and got battery replaced

Single cell discharging and unbalancing is the reason... You have to give some time to balance all cells.. it is a common problem...

Better to make a video and show them or take service centre guy with you and show them the problem .. I got battery replacement.. it was hassle free..

Almost always charged to 100%
Bro I also have this issue. Once my car is at 10% battery level ranges reduces to less than 1km/1% of battery. What is the solution for this

Even if the company claims dont expect much from EV vehicles. These are best for daily commutes not for long drives.
