  • Hey Fish Friends! If you are interested in culturing green water indoors here are a few steps that have helped me keep green water indoors.
    1. Bright Light 24/7
Be careful to keep away or block aquariums from light as this can promote algae growth.
    2. detritus, fish waste, fish food.
    3. apple core, piece of banana, green beans with no salt, safe live vegetable's for fish.
wait and hope for Green water!

If you put a few daphnia in your green water culture, will their population grow to the point that they will complete clear your green water? And will they die of starvation eventually?

I have a question what kind of light do you use for the green water? Need those because i live in a condo which means i dont have an access to natural light( sun light).

Instructions unclear. Made green water to my heart's desire..........the pool water is green, the bathtub and sink are full of green water. Stop or keep going?
