Taping for the quadriceps

  • In this video we demonstrate kinesio taping technique for the quadriceps. Taping this region focuses on decompressing the vastus lateralis, the vastus medialis, and the rectus femoris.
    We're especially focussing on the vastus lateralis. Not only is this the largest muscle in this group, but it also has a large number of trigger points. It's very common to see the trigger points around the knee causing dysfunction, like patellofemoral joint syndrome - AKA runner's knee.
