    Another great video, Scott! Do you know if MS has any alternative to automatically export loop meeting notes from a recurrent meeting to a defined workspace?

    In Teams chat loops get lost very easily into the conversation, is there a way to add a tab into the chat where you can have all loops?

    New to Loop, I want to have a To-Do list and Projects with dates, and being able to see them in Teams calendar!

    • @your365coach
      @your365coach  Před 5 měsíci

      There’s a way and we cover that in a few different videos on our channel. You could create a Task List in Loop for each of your Projects; which then creates a new Planner in the background for each of your Projects. Then, head into Planner and there’s an option to add the Tasks into an Outlook Calendar and then you could add them that way and get visibility through a Shared Calendar of each Projects Tasks 🤗

    But can we add "to do" that syncs with the team planner?

    • @fahlou
      @fahlou Před 2 měsíci

      With the new Planner in Teams, To-Do tasks appear in the "private tasks" list in My Tasks. If you create a task in To-Do, that's where it will appear. By clicking on the "i" on the task you will have a view similar to Plan, you will be able to add notes, subtasks, due date, attachment, etc. But you can't attribute it to someone. Hope I helped.

    Thanks - with all live documents, people can change as well as delete. What happens if the details are deleted and you want to get them back - whether they were deleted intentionally or not?

    • @your365coach
      @your365coach  Před 7 měsíci +2

      Sure, each Loop Pages comes with Version History and also in specific Loop Components too. You can restore from those Versions too 😀

      @@your365coachHi Scott - I understand the version control that is in place, but if you have a piece that has gone out to the team and now you need to do some kind of restoration over different iterations over a certain time period, that could be a pain as it is all manual at this point - would be nice to be able to turn on some kind of tracking within the component that you can use a restore feature or something along those lines

    Just started using Loop this week and I'm pretty convinced. However, I'm in 'Office 365 A1 Plus for Students' plan and there's a message which states that after 31st March, I won't be able to create new workspaces (it's not clear whether only read-only permissions will take effect or I can edit my current pages but cannot create new ones). Will Loop and Planner stop working (I assume the reason is the migration and leaving beta phase) without any transition to the new product?

    • @your365coach
      @your365coach  Před 7 měsíci +2

      Sadly, you will need an E3, E5 or Business Standard / Business Premium License to use Loop in Early 2024. You do get some grace period but that only says until Early 2024, so hopefully you will get an increase in license soon and keep access to Loop. Here's the official guidance here: support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/loop-access-via-microsoft-365-subscriptions-92915461-4b14-49a4-9cd4-d1c259292afa

    But why wouldn’t I just create a Note?

    • @your365coach
      @your365coach  Před 7 měsíci +3

      I assume that would be a OneNote Note? I'd recommend checking out some of other Loop Videos on the channel where we cover that a little more, as Loop allows to take this and then share it wider in Outlook, Word and Teams and keep it all in-place, through a Loop Component. One of the main time drains I find is copying data across all the different apps, and then keeping the source copy in line, and that's why I like Loop over OneNote Notes 😀

  • @martincoupal9825
    @martincoupal9825 Před měsícem

    What does happend when the user who inserted the loop component in a teams channel or word document leave the organization (OneDrive is deleted) ?

    • @your365coach
      @your365coach  Před měsícem

      Well, it could be deleted depending on the retention policies set on the OneDrive account. I’d recommend checking out more information on that via the official Microsoft Docs 😄

    Scott, this app seems to provide a valid solution to my company however, the deal breaker is that it doesn't work with quest or external users. I am a third party management company. I manage another site in another state under their own domain. Me and my company are in constant contact with the leadership on the site (we all us 365 pro) and we need to solve the problem of getting more productivity from our meetings and Loop offers Agenda, Meeting Notes, Task etc which seems would be a game changer for us. Can you offer any ideas.

    • @your365coach
      @your365coach  Před 6 měsíci

      You could consider setting up a Teams Shared Channel, for shared files and the like, although that would not give you the capabilities sadly for Loop. However, the Loop Team did announce that are looking to offer External access for Loop, meaning that you could share that content with a 3rd Party, however the capability is not yet available but hopefully we will see it soon 😀

    I have a recurring weekly Teams meeting. I'd like to use Loop - I added an Agenda (from a template) a while back and added a few "follow up tasks" but didn't assign them or use any other parts. It's been showing up in the Chat sidebar each week, just sitting there. My coworker and I gave the whole thing a trial today. She loved it! But - how will this work for the next instance of the recurring mtg. Also, I marked those earlier "tasks" complete, but they are still in the list. - For this to work on a recurring meeting, do I add a whole new template each week? Thanks! I've learned a lot of MS content from you channel!

      @your365coach  Před 6 měsíci +1

      Thanks for your kind feedback and it’s great to know that the channel has helped you too.
      In terms of recurring meetings, it sadly won’t work. The Collaborative Notes are created much like a Loop Component for each individual Meeting where you add them in. I do hope we see support for recurring meetings in the future, as that would be awesome!

      @leiterservices Před 6 měsíci

      @@your365coach after some experimenting, I think I can at least add a new Loop to the recurring meeting's chat. I add a Loop Paragraph w the header "Meeting Notes [date]", I added a line. Then on the next line, I typed "/' and selected Task list. If there a way to save those 2 blocks as a template or to automate adding them?

      Constructive feedback works, complaining doesn't . Teams is ruling the world. Might as well try to adapt. Not everything will be a piece of cake.

      @@refayetsami9405 teams is ruling the world just like Windows is. It has nothing to do with how good or bad it is. What constructive feedback do you need? I use that mess every day, I can write a book about it.
