holy shit. that just made me think about my old bases i had. it was a HUGE dirt house. more like a mansion, but the best part was making a crafting table, a furnace, and last… a bed. even though it was made of dirt, it was home.

I’m pretty sure these are BSL shaders, search them up, I have a potato PC I get at least 60 FPS with it

@@nossta5242 actually bro i took an idea from here now I'll just follow the basic design but not any of the fancy stuff like end rod or stairs or something, I'll just create a house with this design and that'll be it because currently I'm living in freakin tree house lol... And also I spawned next to a village and I was like wow I would go and live there, but the villagers were turned to zombies lol
Thank you so much for the tutorial! I also built it today and the tutorial was really great. The only sad thing is, that the Tripwire Hook does not want to go onto the Spruce Trapdoor. I can just use it. But everything else is very good and I really love this house so thanks for making this tutorial!
You have to place it "on the water", not on the trapdoor.

Wow this house looks amazing, and I love that you have included a material list and block count for one, but also that you have written down exactly what each block is, because not everybody uses the same texture pack nowadays, so sometimes identifying blocks by just a picture is not easy.

I really liked building this house! Such a great tutorial and simple to follow!
For me, gathering resources like stripped wood took me a while (probably an hour of gathering), along with trying to find dark oak. Which is hard on survival, so instead, I used stripped spruce which in my opinion still worked with the overall design of the house. In the process of building it, I didn't get the chance to go to the neither to gather quartz for quartz stairs and slabs. Instead I used birch wood as a temporary solution. The campfires for me weren't really necessary in my opinion, I used oak slabs as the replacement. Considering you have to make a lot campfires from this tutorial to do so.
Overall, the house took me an hour and a bit to build and I'm happy with how it turned out. Obviously it wasn't my idea, I just wanted to learn how to design better and improve my building skills.
