I was 14 when Black Ops 1 came out. What a game. I practically skived off the entire of year 10 at high school to play this with the boys. I had like 33 days multiplayer play time. Amazing memories I would love to go back and be a teenager all over again

Black Ops 1 has such a special place in my heart. Have absolutely no complaints about this game whatsoever. The feel, the guns, the killstreaks, the maps, the campaign, the zombies..

It has its flaws. Some weapons starting with too little reserve ammo, weapons being 90% statistically identical to others, Gold weapons being ridiculously hard to get…

I will always say that this was the best COD ever made. I even reached Prestige 15 on PS3, good times.
Because it was and the wii versionnwas also amazingnthenwii remote free mouse controls were and still are peak fps, you could have the aim centered with the camera like most gyro aims ,today or a free aim were the camera moved currently but the cross hair moved totally free that plusninsanke mode for mouse speed was best fps I ever in my life experienced art direction was exactly the same to just lower res and 30fps. Me and my son would flout between x360 and wii..even the wi blaster controls were awesome I 50 now look 30 still super fit fast and skilled and I have never found a gz,e fps shooter like this balanced ,,,,controls ,,,,,fun,, ,I thinking of a high end pc build but I kep thinking no matter what it's, power il never have this much fun again
gotta appreciate how good this game sounded. the bullets, reloading, explosions etc. So memorable.
Ironically, in those years some people said that the game sound like garbage.

@wiresss in ps3 it can't save any level , for example if you just stop any level(from level 1-55 any priestege) it returned to level 1 and both xbox360&ps3 are now full of hackers and cheaters. Sadly it's happened from cod4 to bo2 :(

Cods peak for sure, I logged in hours and hours in black ops, the famas was a monster, extended mag, silencer good options. The damage output felt balanced in this one, all the guns were fun to use, the maps were good, gun game was intense. I reached 16th prestige, good times.
YEAH TO MEE COD4, WaW, Mw2, and Black ops 1 was the peak of the call of duty franchise forsure. Not to take anything away from the other ones but the gaming experience and community was way better ( and way toxic ) lol.
The toxicity was off the walls on bo1 ahh 😌 bo1 was truly the peak for cod bo2 was a hood follow up but I wouldn’t say it was the peak for cod mw2 and bo1 took the cake for sure bo2 would be 3rd

I was 19 about to turn 20 when this game first came out. I didn’t realize I still had it easy at the time and life was only gonna get harder from there on out. This game brought me so many memories that I wish I could just go back and live through it all again. My mother was alive too and that was always the best part of my life.
I remember the Year 2015 when I first played Call Of Duty Black Ops Multiplayer!!! It was the first Videogame with a Multiplayer and I played it many Hours on every Day!!! 🤗👍🥳

Just recently prestiged in this game, the first CoD I've ever done that with. There's something special about each entry pre-Black Ops 2 that make them so fun to come back to over a decade later. Once they found their formula, they stuck to it, but there was a time when each game that released had its own distinct aesthetic and feel. They really can't fix what isn't broken.

I played this so damn much to the point where when I played black ops 2 something was different. Something changed, the weapons have a heftyness to them. The game was heavier and slower. Also skill based matchmaking ruined all the other cods after that. I haven't played anything past black ops2
I was also confused by black ops 2 because I was not used to futuristic weapons and all that honestly I like black ops 1 more

Lightweight pro slightahand pro and Marathon pro with the ak-74u with rapid fire tomahawk and a jammer and a concussion grenade was the loadout I rocked all the time running around killing everything man I miss this game 😢

Sounds like a battlefield on this game. I like the new movement and how it isn't as stiff these days but back then it made everybody kinda even in terms of movement and agility. Now people will slide to cover whip 360° jump up headshot slidecancel dodge twirl in circles and run zig zags 50 mph...
