Now in my 30’s and looking back when I sang thing this song on the voice as a teen (19yrs) - I now am very upset they asked (me) a previously homeless/a state ward child/teen to sing this song and I think it’s so screwed up! Rubbing my own misfortunes in my face for everyone’s entertainment! - and I still (have to) sing it to people. It was actually quite cruel bastards hahaha 🤣
Lots of us agreed with that Karise. While you sang it 🎉extremely well it made me uncomfortable. You were so, so young and vulnerable. Your audition is still rated globally as one of the best in history. Your feelings were/are so valid. Go gently. Thanks for yet another album. 💚
They had no understanding of its duality. I imagine it was chosen for your amazing voice. Forgive them for their ignorance, even as you learn from it and formulate new songs that reach the brokenhearted for healing. Don’t let bitterness set in, but rather see where you can improve it for all of your experiences can either destroy you or be wealth for you to plunge and bring out the better and the best. This is not to deny your suffering but to take it and turn it on its head into a valuable asset that is uniquely your own. Your capability shows in the choices you have made, and for that, you are much admired, respected and loved. ❤ ❤❤

Hi I’ve released x4 albums in the last 12yrs. I released a single last Friday on July 12th and have been in the studio all week recording my 5th album - I’m not ‘offending’ anyone by not releasing music (as you said) - it ya’ own damn fault of you can’t keep up hahaha 😆

The only critique I have this audio is the lack of loud response from the audience when she finished. I've always hated to see and hear great talent stuck in small venues. Puts a twist on, "A robin red breast in a cage puts all heaven on a rage."
I think this is my most favourite song of yours. It's hard to choose because you've written so many epic songs. It's just sad that people are so conditioned by record labels to only listen to artists that are heavily promoted. Your views should always be in the millions! 🤠🎤🎵🙌🤍
