Cannot get enough of these excellent productions. More, please 🥺
I will always comment to thank you for the time & effort put in so that people like myself can enjoy these wonderful dramas. So... Thank you "TSHRS". 👌
Clive Merrison as Holmes sounds uncannily like Rowan Atkinson. Blackadder as Holmes.
Mrs. Hudson rules
I really like the actress who played Mrs. Hudson.
Joan Matheson

Helps me to enjoyably pass the time at work. Thank you.
An unusual story, in the Holmes canon.
"It is notable for being one of only two Arthur Conan Doyle Holmes stories, aside from a couple of humorous vignettes, to be written in third person - the other is "His Last Bow". "The Mazarin Stone" was written this way because it was adapted from a stage play, The Crown Diamond, in which Watson hardly appeared. Its adaptation from the theatre also explains why the action in this story is confined to one room."
The play preceded the short story; although both date from 1921 the play may have been written some years earlier.
Hate the violin.
The violin is intrinsic with Sherlock Holmes. Check the picture.
Violin is distracting, but necessary for the mood
In this one, the violin is essential to the plot.
