Excavator down! Time to bring in the new secret weapon!

- This rental excavator rolled over when it tried to move a little too big of rock. Luckily Ben with @406garage3 happened to be buying a 4x4 wrecker when I got the call to stand up the machine, so we brought it right out for it's first job and it worked flawlessly! We used the twin winches on the boom to pull it up, and a @YankumRopes connected to my TJ-6 to lower it down gently onto its tracks.

Casey! You are awesome 😎
Nice application of the rope, great way to show the many uses of a yankum. Or kinetic energy rope…
I over paid for the other brand…. And need a bigger one….
Give us a call! We’d be happy to help!
Common Casey. Give me a view. Check out the diesel cj7. I’ve been working on.
Would love to buy a heavy rope. Need to finish my Jeep first.
You never know. Might need to get a rope for work
Ben’s got the life, he supplies the truck then gets to stand there and watch, then off to lunch! Pretty good!
🤣🤣🤣
I was thinking the same thing.
I was running the 2nd camera 📷
@@406garage3 oh sure sure, blame it on the 2nd camera. LOL 😂 😉
@@406garage3 oh sure you were! Oh well I don’t blame you it’s fun to watch Casey scurry around! 😂
That's a really good looking truck Casey. You need that.
I agree with you on all points!
@@straybullitt I know in Missouri, tow trucks there can run red/blue when called upon as they are considered emergency responders to remove wrecks quickly, and I think Washington St now allows for that too if not mistaken. I know this as I watch Ron Pratt of Midwest Trucks who does a lot of towing among other jobs as requested and he can run red/blue lights.
@@straybullitt perfectly legal here.
@@straybullitt Yep, exactly. That is why I mention Missouri and here as in MO, you can run red/blues, but here, I'm not 100% certain if you can, or it was talked about and can't recall exactly, but it will be different wherever you live.
You're a real pro Casey! You knew exactly how to operate Ben's new wrecker to safely raise the excavator. Well done! Hope that wrecker is yours some day.
One reason to watch his channel. He has a clue. Pretty good dude and pretty giving. Check out Midwest towing out of Missouri. This dude does a lot of business southern Missouri.
Pull the levers..
???
Buy it? Just keep borrowing it and have Ben maintain it ... but maybe some day it will belong to Casey.
You will get a wrecker of your own Casey, the timing just was not right on this one. Thumbs UP man! 👍
I think Ben only bought it for Casey. Will sell it to him as soon as Casey finds the money. Or, will always be ready to roll to help out. He's clearly a good friend.
He ended up buying it lol
@@bob-who-must-not-be-named8522 He could sell it if the price is right like the most that he owns...
Great video, nice to see Alex. This episode should be called: Ben to the rescue. 😉😆
It's a shame its not your wrecker Casey. It's great to have good friends like Ben.
Casey, you are truly an artist, and this was the perfect canvas for people to see you in your element. You explain what you are doing and why in terms that hopefully everyone should be able to understand and appreciate! Huge respect watching you carry this out and make it look so simple and easy.
Yes Casey that truck is awesome and you need it in your life. I think you need to keep pressuring Ben and eventually he'll give in and sell it to you!
Great as always. Love how you took over the wrecker and Ben must have gone for a walk (or sat in the shade) knowing it was in good hands, and all it cost you was lunch? Sweet deal
I ran the 2nd camera to film for him 😁
@@406garage3 he made you work while playing with your new toy 😮😉 hope you went somewhere expensive for lunch.
You bought the TJ for Riley's comfort. That is never a bad business decision! Any update on surgery?
Still ignoring the surgery. No pain, and not stopping me from doing anything I want to do so I'm holding off for now
@@CaseyLaDelle where your red Jeep Grand Cherokee xj?
@@shanegaming2446 sitting in my yard
Gonna have to get a magnetic Cascade Heavy Rescue decal for it when you "borrow" it a LOT!
One word for this recovery----SMOOOOOOOTH!!!
Well Casey, you are an artist. Thanks for the explanations so we could follow pretty easily.
One more thing. You spoke several times about being jealous. Well almost.
"Jealousy" is the fear of being replaced. What you have is envy.
You are envious of that tow truck.
Excellent truck, I can understand the rental company people say they know what they doing, only need a bit of oil in the cylinder even if it's not enough to cause lock up may be enough to bend something, all the best to yous and your loved ones
The way you explain your rigging is much appreciated to us novices. Thanks for another great video.
How you feel about Ben's new tow truck is how I feel about your new Jeep! Color and all!!!! Great video, I learn something new from each one. Really enjoy your truthfulness and style! Keep up what you do!!
Classy recovery with experience, thanks for the show
Very nicely done, Casey! Very well planned and executed. I really like that wrecker. It is so nice of Ben to let you use it. 😁 That would look really good in your yard!
Lol, I may be wrong but I think you're jealous, the truck is cool and your colours. Sorry but your commentary was hilarious. Great video.
Alex did a outstanding job filming today, as usual. Another informative and imaginative recovery. You are an awesome problem solver Casey. That is a natural talent you have honed over years of working with recoveries and equipment. Ben got the deal for real and yeah wish you could have jumped on that one. Between it and your Jeep you would have things covered pretty well. Looking forward to the next adventure. Peace.
Thanks for showing the details of the setup and the why’s behind. Great recovery
There are enough videos of wrecker drivers flipping vehicles onto their wheels only to have them roll down another hill and cause more damage. Nice controlled Recovery by a Professional.
For a 1988 truck it’s in remarkably great shape, I would say that was a great purchase, sorry Casey your time will come when it makes sense to buy another one but until then you should really enjoy your new to you TJ6 because that’s also a great purchase plus a lot of fun.
Keep up the great work we all very much enjoy your channel.
Thanks Alex for your service. Nice dance there Casey
Great video Casey. Ben’s tow truck, which is yours now is working out great. 🤙😎
Thanks for the video, always enjoy watching!
Awesome work Casey. It was nice to see an expert at work. That excavator touch down was a definite flex of your skills and knowledge. Thanks for sharing
Looks so easy with the right know how and tools. Well done! Thanks for sharing 👍🏼
We’ll done recovery, lots of knowledge shared on how to do the job CORRECTLY 👍👍.
Thanks 🙏 for sharing.
Awesome Casey and Ben and awesome job
Nice truck. Excellent recovery.
Another recovery well done and well explained. You don’t need to have all the equipment when you have friends like Ben that have it. A couple videos back you needed a 5 ton wrecker. I think an Earthcruiser wrecker would be just right, Clifford is already the right color. Nice to see Alex again.
Yes, Clifford as a wrecker would be perfect!
Well ya missed a fine wrecker!!!!! Nice recovery!
What a smooth landing. And not by accident!
I always wanted to buy a wrecker to do some recovering and saving vehicles in ditches.... but never did. Interesting way to do this but it worked like a charm..... Great vid Casey!
Amazing! You set that thing down gently as possible. Good job Casey!
Amazing recovery. It’s pure logical physics at work. Those yankem ropes are magic!!
Semper Fi Alex. I was a USMC Combat Engineer back in the 70s. I went in with the intent to be a heavy equipment operator, but I ended up as a 1371
Great job on the recovery of the excavator Casey!!!!!
Gracefully executed, Casey‼️
That sure is a pretty wrecker ‼️🤩💯 Yankum‼️
Nicely done Casey
You better buy that wrecker Casey. That was a perfect job standing
that up
Thanks for the video
Well done. Just before you got out the Yankum to support the boom I was thinking the same. Your scope of experience is impressive.
Nice job on the soft landing. I’m proud of you!
Definitely a video that shows how good you are at this! Nice job!! 🏆
CASEY YOU HAVE A GREAT FRIEND. STAY SAFE. GOD BLESS.
Great recovery truck that was awesome love the new truck that been bought that's Ben bought and you got to use
Great job Casey!!
Interesting, Thank You. A fine example of teamwork and the right equipment
Excellent work . . . Cheers.
What a "Friend "😜 teases you with the tow rig, then stands in the shade talking with the ladies and "supervises ". Great planning on the recovery. Take the easy ones when you can
Great when a plan comes together! Great job Casey. Too bad bout the 4x4 Wrecker, but I think that down the line you might be able to buy it from Ben. Let’s wait and see, lol🤙😎
Thank you Ben for buying us a super nice wrecker!!!
Well done!
That was really excellent to watch.
I was hoping this would be one of them tear jerker episodes where your buddy just gives you that wrecker.
I did hear him say it would be the last heavy rescue HE is going to do with it…
Good Gracias casey your a real expert heavy lifting.
Good job Casey
I m so glad you got Alex back
Congrats on the new wrecker Ben! Always great to see Alex back on the channel. How is the Marine Corps? Worked out great Casey, still got the TJ9 and can use the "new" wrecker. that was a beautifully orchestrated maneuver of a sidelined excavator back on its tracks. Well done!
Gotta love these joint ventures, lol! Thanx !
Yeah, that tow truck is a beauty! I'm glad one of you got it in your "family." Good recovery.
Casey,You excel !
Like a glove! nicely done
Alex, as a Retired Navy Chief, Thank you for serving and HOORAH DEVIL DOG!!
A real professional, absolutely excellent
Having flash back to your red wrecker, great video
Great recovery.
Hope you can buy that truck after the Willis sells
Nice job. smooth recovery
Nice truck, Ben!
Awesome job on that recovery
For someone that does not do this kind Of Work as niches work you do a good job
I used to run pure hydraulic actuated mini diggers, you could self right them on the starter motor and the levers. Not so easy on these electronic command diggers, which is a shame.
Anyway, that wrecker has your name written all over it, gorgeous.
Yes it’s a great looking truck. As your channel grows and you have steady work, you too will the tow truck you desire as always a great video.
I watch lots of channels to learn your a great teacher
Very nice rigging work!
That was so perfectly executed job! Nice one!
Great job. Zero damage. Total win.
The wrecker is in Casey's favorite color BUT he doesn't want to own it! He will want to borrow it instead! Good job with Ben's wrecker!
Well done! Nice and smooth when you use a control vehicle! Similar to what i did in the wreckmaster course.
Casey
Ben will sell it to you Eventually so don't weary about. He probably bought it so you can buy it from him
Brilliant way to counter balance the excavator from flopping over to fast! Well done!
OMG that's a super wrecker.!!
That was an interesting video!
You sure know how to get the best of both worlds with Ben buying that wrecker!
But while you are so busy pulling heavy things, I can't help but wonder: when will you get your hernia taken care of, Casey?
Likely he, like me is awaiting for approval from insurance. I have the referral in, but they are awaiting from insurance then I'll hear from the surgeon's office to get my hernia scheduled in.
Great roll over teaching moment Video. I've seen a few roll overs go from side, Upright and then over again and sometimes, back down the hill. Great looking Med Duty Tow truck, twin line booms, such fun.
Best tip over recovery I have seen, beautiful
Good job on flipping that back over, nice and gentle
I absolutely love learning form your ingenious mind!
Really enjoyed the explanation of the rigging you used and why.
Perfect! But I was still holding my breath for ya!
That was an awesome technique with the lowering tension on the jeep. Well done !
Your a great teacher Casey I bet Ben Alex will be learning a lot and taking jobs for you when you can't be their
Nice recovery guys.
That was an excellent recovery, very well executed without any damage to the machine 👍,
Very smooth recovery
I LOVE ❤️ the complete control Casey... I've done that before.. buy you made it look easy Cuh.
Very cool, very smooth, nice work 💪
Perfect well done 👍👏😎
I heard about this when i grabbed my equipment from these guys... Bet Warren and his team were stoked you made such a clean recovery!!
Hopefully, I haven't talked to them yet lol
That sure is a pretty truck. Can trucks be pretty?? Anyway, great job Casey. When you explained your vision for this job, I could see exactly what you were saying. Then when it came to fruition....amazing!!
Great job! No substitute for experience.
