These crochet baby pants, leggings or trousers are perfect for baby boys and girls between 3-6 month old with a beautiful and super easy crochet stitch pattern. You can easily make them smaller or bigger by simply changing your hook size and making it in the exact same way as this tutorial (Option One, see below) with same stitch count and number of rows or by using standard size measurements provided below as well. With this second option you can use any yarn weight with any hook size but just keep in mind that these measurements are not exact since not all babies are the same size and since tension varies from person to person which can affect the final size. ✅Materials used for 3-6m size:
PANTS = 76g total of DK yarn for 3-6m size ( I used James C Brett DK yarn in pink and white) with a 3.5mm hook. You can also use any yarn with similar weight like #3 or 8ply.
OPTION ONE:
NB use 2.5mm hook with #3, DK or 8 ply yarn
0-3M use 3mm hook with #3, DK or 8ply yarn
3-6M use 3.5mm hook with #3, DK or 8ply yarn
6-9M use 4mm hook with #3, DK or 8ply yarn
9-12M use 4.5mm hook with #3, DK or 8ply yarn
2-3y use 5mm hook with #4, Aran or 10ply yarn
OPTION 2 (MEASUREMENTS):
WAIST: +/- 1-2in
NB-1M = 14.25in
1-3M = 15.75in
3-6M = 16.5in
6-9M = 17.5in
9-12M = 18.15in
12-24M = 19.5in
RISE: +/- 1-2in
(From waist)
NB-1M = 5.5in
1-3M = 6in
3-6M = 8in
6-9M = 8.25in
9-12M = 8.75in
12-24M = 9in
LEG LENGTH: +/- 1-2in
(From rise)
NB-1M = 4.5in
1-3M = 5in
3-6M = 6.5in
6-9M = 8.5in
9-12M = 9in
12-24M = 10in

I make these for a 3 and 4 old year all the time , use the medium weight yarn and a bigger hook size , for this particular outfit I'd use a size 5.5 to a 6 with the 4 medium weight yarn , same for the sweater .

Yes. You can go by the measurements provided in in the tutorial just add and inch more to the last measurement or 2-3y use 5mm hook with #4, Aran or 10ply yarn
I usually have no problem with your tutorials, and I truly hesitated to comment about this, but I find that the most crucial parts are basically given less attention, eg, the separation of the legs in the leggings. It's not clearly demonstrated or explained
