    Hello 👋 my name is Sara welcome to my channel Crochet for Baby. In today's tutorial I will show you how to crochet the matching baby pants or baby leggings or trousers to the blue and white baby cardigan jacket. These baby pants are for 3-6 months baby. You can also make it smaller or larger by simply changing your hook size as mentioned in my video.
    For these crochet baby pants I used James C. Brett super soft DK yarn (British brand) which is comparable to a light #3 baby yarn here in the U. S. and a 4mm hook I used about 72 grams of yarn for my baby pants. You may need less or more depending how big or small you make yours. You can also use any 8ply yarn.
    Thank you for watching and I hope you enjoy this easy crochet tutorial by crochet for baby.

    Made these pants but modified the pattern alot and decreased number of stitches to fit my tiny 5 month old grandbaby. I did a red and green strip added a black waistband to resemble a belt and fished red and green tulle to make an elf costume for 5 month old grand daughter. Turned out great. Wish I could share a picture. Thank you so much. I tried other patterns and they did not turn out well. This pattern was just as your picture shows. Thank you very much.

    Hello maam , is the size of pant you made above in the video convenient for a 2 - 3 month old baby .. ?

    • @CrochetForBaby
      @CrochetForBaby  Před 2 lety

      These are for 3-6m. Use a smaller hook size and make it exactly in the same way for slightly smaller size.

      @@CrochetForBaby means i just need to use small size of hook , rest the number of chains and stiches will be same ? And does the same thing goes for the sweater too ?

    • @CrochetForBaby

    Hi I need to make 18 months size with dk yarn is it possible to do with this pattern please

    • @CrochetForBaby
      @CrochetForBaby  Před 2 lety

      If you crochet loose then I’d say you can make them with dk yarn and a 5mm hook. Or add 4-6 more rows to the waist making sure you have even number of stitches to make it easier when dividing the legs and use a 4.5mm hook. This will make the waist wider and add to the width of the hips. I would also add 2-4 more rows before dividing the legs and make the legs a bit longer as well. I hope this helps 😉

    Hi Sara, for a 0-3 month size, what should the waist band measure? mine is measuring 13 inches, I feel it's very small.
