Compare to some of the other award monologues Rebel’s done (BAFTAs, NFL Honours), this feels rather tame… I get the feeling she’s trying too hard to please everyone
I'm not sure if cringe is the right word for this. It was a hell of a lot worse. The audience definitely wasn't impressed, and I'm sure Rebel Wilson (who isn't remotely funny, or an actors butthole) knew this as well. Whatever possessed the planners to go with her anyway? Tom Gleeson will have a field day with this on Hard Quiz.
I’m shocked 17 people have liked this video.. Rebel is the most unfunny person around and I understand why she said she didn’t write any jokes so the audience was warned before she bored everyone to tears.. How she got acting roles is BEYOND me! Reciting the script isn’t acting but apparently, these days it is.. because there are quite a few so called ‘actors’ who really can’t act..
This is nothing besides toxic commentary. Nothing constructive here at all. Is that what you contribute just bringing people down? There's no benefit to your effort at all, do better.
@@jaxr2958 SERIOUSLY??? This show was put on for people's entertainment, and criticism and opinions are warranted. Rebel was bloody terrible, with an absolutely cringeworthy performance. Even the audience wasn't impressed. If you don't like a movie, do you watch it until the end? Would you recommend it to your friends, or would you say what you thought of the movie on a negative/toxic level? If they don't get any criticism, they'll just get the same line up of hopeless entertainers, until everyone decides not to go again. But hey. . . if you enjoyed it , great! You obviously have low standards, when it comes to humour.

If you read my comment carefully you would have noticed my complaint was the negativity with nothing constructive. If you don't understand criticism needs to be constructive then think on it. And wth, if I don't agree with you, I have low standards? Btw the show is primarily an awards event, not for entertainment, and Rebel was the host, not there as a hired stand up comedienne.
I'll defend the funny of fat Rebel. Pitch Perfect is a guilty pleasure of mine. The problem is that she lost her mojo, literally. Here's my challenge, name one funny fatty who lost weight and went on to become *even funnier?* That person doesn't exist.
