I was an Extra on the film 'Steve Jobs' in which Kate Winslet co-starred, and during prep of a scene, I came within an arm's length of her. I was very tempted to grab her & give her a big kiss, but restrained myself.

Lol in morroco we have something similar to what dua lipa described, if the area under your nose itches than unexpected guests are coming, and when the right palm of your hand itches you're getting money, but if the left one itches you're loosing money, and if your eye lid itches than someone is talking about u 😅

Fun fact since you're Colombian : in morroco we have an old popular saying when we want to describe something as being soooo faaar away we say " it was in cartagena", the majority of us use it without realizing that "cartagena" is actually a real existing city in Colombia 😅
I'm Brazilian, we also have the hand thing, though it's a bit different - if any of your hands is itching, you're getting money. And if your ear is burning, it means someone is gossiping about you. hahaha

I know what Cate means about flying. Obviously she flies first class and has all the comforts of that, but your life is still in the hands of the pilot and you’re trusting nothing to go wrong with the plane the same as any other passenger on board, so I do think of family.

Nose itching is an omen of getting angry later in the day, palm itching means you’ll recieve money, hiccups mean someone’s thinking of you, chimney sweepers bring good luck if you rub a button when you see one, black cats bring bad luck, breaking glass brings good luck…superstition is alive and well in Balkan, Slovenia!

Superstitions were the first thing I actually gave up in my early 20s (from my Polish family) and never focused on them again.
My mother is from Ireland. She had all sorts of superstitions.

I’m not sure if the whole of Canada does this, but in Quebec (majority French speaking province), if the tip of your nose is itchy, superstition says you’ll kiss a fool in the near future.
My English grandmother used to say "itchy nose, kiss a fool", meaning if your nose was itchy, the next person you kissed was a fool.
Now i have to look up magpies.

Very interesting. There are different superstitions in Russia: if you have an itchy nose that means you're going to get drunk :)) If you put on your underwear inside out it's bad luck - you're going to have a bad day.
