The thing about the cricket convo is that it was actually really sweet that Taylor tried to study up on cricket so she could chat with the other guest.
I love how Taylor just hands out the most genuine compliments in the middle of a convo and goes right back to it like she didn't just shock the heck out of the person she complimented. 😍🥰
Taylor's cat is a Scottish Fold, and I am certain Cleese knew that. But Taylor's reaction was priceless. I'm 67, and I love her, she is just so REAL.

I don't know her songs and don't follow her, because I'm not a teenager, but I keep hearing stories...from famous and not so famous people all over, of just how nice she is in person! Of the good things she does for people and the way she treats not just her fans but her critics as well. I cannot understand why some people hate her. I suppose it is envy. But by most accounts Taylor Swift isn't a diva, and is beautiful, on the inside, as well as the outside!
Her music is loved by people of all ages; I was reading comments on one of her new songs and many were from older generations. I’m 54 with eclectic taste in music and like a lot of her songs.

I can finally say I met and spoke to someone who was interviewed with Taylor Swift !!! ( It was John Cleese ....spoke to John at a parking lot in S.B., Cal. a number of years ago .He was doing a book tour there; as a home there too...)...

Taylor is that once in a generation talent. I feel creatively she is on par with the likes of Lucille Ball - not comedically - but just pure inner talent for storytelling and craft. You can bring up all the Olivia Rodrigo's you can find but there will not be another talent like Taylor for a long while. She was created to be a star.
