You have to be one of the hardest working CZcamsrs. Don't know where you get all the energy to do the work and the creativity to put together such high quality videos. Of course, I'm 77 yrs old so get tired just watching you. Love your channel!
Mr. Dos is looking good. You are my favorite youtuber. Your personality shines through in every video.
Sarah, I lived in Tucson for 27 years and moved away in December of '99. I still have friends there that I miss and watching your videos when you drive around the area brings back such memories. Well, thanks in part to you, my wife and I are driving to Tucson for a week's stay and we are really excited about it. I can't wait to hit Lucky Wishbone and Luke's Chicago Style again!!! Thank you for the inspiration!!
I cant wait to move from the North East coast to the South West! Have an enjoyable and safe trip.
Sarah, you are a gem, a true delight ! Sounds like a good plan for the TT.
The garage floor, wheel hubs and yourself are all look in awesome, later Sarah, with love from Canada, you rock girl
just started going through your vids. i've really enjoyed how palatable you make whatever you're reviewing/working on. you take a lot of time explaining what you're doing and i dont feel like you skip any steps for the sake of video time. killer content, keep it up :D
I absolutely LOVE how u do what u do. Cleaning the garage was awesome. Glad to see snippets of that. It's such a pleasure watching your vids. It don't matter what u doin, u make it entertaining..... U gotz skillz Gurl.
Great video, both for the garage clean, and wheel fitment! Your garage looked very nice after your reorganization and the wheel replacement was informative and well done! I know I'm one of the "studs" you got off! You're awesome and love your sense of humor, thanks.👍
I really enjoyed this video. You didn't make any huge progress on the car, probably spent way more time cleaning your garage that lasted 5 seconds for us than with the mr2, but it was fun. You seemed to be in a good mood the whole time.
Getting some work done and chatting with us while you did, I like this a lot more than you getting beat up and stressed out while trying to make huge progress in a couple days for the 15 minutes we see.
Floor cleaned up pretty nice, huge benefit of being sealed.
So glad you're finishing the TT, I know there were a ton of plans along the way, but the before vs now with all the work and upgrades you've already done is a huge improvement, just a little more work til it's mechanically sound.
You keep it fresh by just being you 😁👍
Very good work cleaning the rotor, look almost like new, and you know that those small things are valuable, you always take care of the small details, good thing.
Lucky studs! 😜 Love your humor and silliness! Great video as always! 😀👍❤️
i like that you used longer studs, with wheel spacers. and that is the rite way to put a stud in the hub ive been doing that for 25 years.
Long rod hard wood. Safe and sound. This video is art.
Thank you Sarah, I never knew how to replace the studs. I learned a lot. Great work.
20 VERY happy studs :)
You make every mechanic shed a tear when you use chrome sockets on your impact !
Priceless. All it needed was the red tank top from the intro. Sarah, you are a treasure.
I didnt mind the little fidly bits of the TT build and the really fine detail.
Your videos are always exciting but looking forward to your next project cause I love the way you attack things and the effort you go to.
Also its great watching you get so excited over the big stuff as well. More excited than you can get over new spark plugs anyway.
1 Spark plug ah ah ah
2 spark plugs ah ah ah.
Guaranteed you are getting more than 20 studs off every video. Nice work.
🔥😂🔥
Hilarious! My fiancé teases me just like that!
Hehe nice work in deed that is a paycheck bonus right there for sarah to cash in cause yes sarah could use some glam up money😂😂. Spending so much on cars don’t help personal matters
By hand too. No power assists
Well, "you can slip the new stud in through the back of it. Because when you you try it up there, you wouldn't exactly have clearance to get the stud in there" ...
That's what she said.
@07:00
That counts for something...
A clean garage is healthy for our favorite garage dweller :)
I'm glad you're keeping Mr.Dos, he's coming along fine
It is nice that you clean and paint things while working on them. I admire that. Your way of redoing a car is admirable, even with a flip vehicle. It shows pride and honesty. That is a quality that is hard to find in people now days. A lot of people do the bare minimum and call it good.
Still glad you decided to keep the mr2. I had a first gen super charged and a twin to MR dos non turbo. I regret getting rid of either. Keep it,enjoy it. They are only going up in value.
Thoroughly enjoying all your content Sarah.
Everything you do is fresh Sarah!
Sarah, your garage looks so good, that is on my agenda Garage clean can't wait
Excited to see the new build coming soon.
Your garage clean-up is inspiring. Now I need to do mine!
Glen Ferguson Motionautotv inspired me to clean up mine, it’s contagious! Haha
Oooooooooo! New project!😁😁😁 Love the content Ms. Sarah!
its good to know i am not the only one who makes tennis player type grunting noises while working on a car, well done :)
Oh Hell Yea!! 20 studs........Yup, she said that.........WOW! Yessa, she said THAT too........man there's something about the word stud.......
Keep up the great work Sarah, the stud handling is just fine!
Love your videos, keep up the great work.
For the 17x8 you can put 245/35/17 tyre and for the rear the 17x9, you can install 265/35/17 .
These tyre dimension will get you the flush look that you want and you won't loose the index coefficient for the gearing.
@@dr_rrichterr No need for the speedometer to be calibrated.
The specific profiles have less than 1% diameter difference (about -0.4%) and in any case all speedometers "cheat" by usually showing you slightly more speed than your actual one (easily confirmed with a GPS) .
if anything with the above recommended setup for the MR2, you'll correct slightly the accuracy of the speedo.
For more details you go in a tire size calculator page like this one : www.1010tires.com/Tools/Tire-Size-Calculator
and see all possible combinations. For safety reasons, you must not go over 3% difference.
Hope I helped...
Keep up the good work love the videos!
Enjoy the work you do. This old dog has learned some new tricks! Also, in regards to the TT, I don't think you could just "dump" it in good conscience. The impression I get from you, is that you'd probably "repo" it and do it right anyway, then return it to the new owner. Keep up the good work! Really looking forward to the new rally project!
Awesome content, I can’t stop watching. Now I’ve got to clean my garage.😸
And here I thought I saw your next build in the Vid. Modifying the broom to add leather grips and Binford 9000 thruster sweeps.
Do you think she's secretly into Quidditch?!
Never has 15 mins gone by so quick 👍
Aint that the truth
Awesome clean garage Sarah! Lol I should do the same since spring season is just around the corner and organizing workspace would be a great start for the year.
Great job Sarah.
So awesome that you care about wheel offset!
Good job Sarah!
From 1 T1D to another... you're amazing!
Clean garage is always good, feel your pain Chica, great job on Señor Dos. Keep it up
Currently running 3 lugs because 2 broke at once. Very helpful, love the video!
Always enjoy your videos. Keep it up!
Good Testing method - so far! One more tip.... as we know how particular you are. When you get the wheels and spec's / offsets etc. you want (if they are new) , do not have them mounted with new tires yet..... cover the backs of the wheel hub with tape and tape up the wheel studs also , then test fit them to the car. That way if they are not as you envisioned, you can exchange them for a different spec. Just don't have them fitted with new tires until you are certain of the look you want. There are also temples you can use for calculating offsets , but......
Smokin hot Sarah great content... Keep up the great work!!!
Wow, I'm a raving fan. Glad I found your channel.
The broomhandle to hold the wheel plate was genius!!
love innuendo Sarah , nice job as always
I'm so glad I stumbled across your channel. I miss my sw20 so much and regret selling it :( I cared you cleaned your garage. (Take care of your garage, your garage takes care of you
I love your b-roll and your editing . I love your channel
Note to self: breakfast cereal hurts when being shot out the nose, laughing @ Sarah 'banging out 20 studs'!
I hope you're building an old school hot rod .
Always entertaining content with great personality.
Thanks for sharing.
Aloha
Keep the inuendos coming, heh. And nice job on this resto-mod-build. Keep it up.
I totally agree with you that Toyota thinks about mechanics while engineering. I have found the same with Subaru for sure. I think it's a very Japanese engineering ethos.
I think "finishing" the TT and moving on is the right move. For the channel and your sanity! Can't wait to see the new wheel setup! :D
I love Subarus !!!!!
@@theroyalcrownedtiger2946 Same! That's why I currently own 6. 😂
@@802Garage : Woohoo 6 Subarus 👍👍👍👍👍👍
I only caught the end of the live video. I agree with fixing the TT to make it right, then selling it. It's as you correctly said becoming a money pit. Just replacing parts instead of doing upgrades. Looking forward to whatever you get next. Would love to see a WRX or STI.
Awesome video Sarah! When I move to Arizona I want us to meet! You are my mechanical inspiration! Bug
Great idea using the broom handle to keep the hub from turning
awesome job sarah....
I love a clean garage!
Another good one Sarah, you improvise that's great. Can I just say when we complete a task successfully down under we say FIGJAM. You can google what it means.
0:39 loved the hollywood drama of those edits, just missing the voice over "what lurks in the shadows of Sarah's garage" LOL
Actually the "proper" way to install studs is a hydraulic press. Sarah is correct when she said you could damage the stud by pulling through using the impact. I damaged one buy using the 2 nut method and a breaker bar on my daughters Probe.
wooo hooo I was 1k like !!!!...and that broomstick is a champ..thought is was going to snap!!
Love you Sarah ! 💕
Nice, I appreciate your thoroughness and attention to detail! My roommate gives me a hard time since I clean everything obsessively before I put it back together, regardless of how small or trivial the piece (see: polishing bolts/nuts). Great job, love the channel!
By chance are you going to sell the Enkie wheels? I may be interested if so... Haha.
Sarah, you handles tools very well. Those studs had no chance!
Best Sarah innuendo of all time!!! I am going to attempt to get 20 studs off 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Coincidence, I just cleaned up my garage yesterday because I took dovery of my new to me Shelby Gt500 2009. Congrats on the chanel, cheers from Montreal.
Martin Vaillancourt congrats!
Martin Vaillancourt Salutations de Cote des Neiges, I’m just getting my (1989) 944 out of winter fixup tomorrow - see you out there.
Another tool that can be used to pull studs through the hub using a single nut is a pass-through socket/ratchet set. It's main purpose is to remove and replace front and rear struts. The socket fits over any length stud and allows the use of a hex key to keep the strut from turning as the nut is tightened on the top of the strut while using the ratchet.
I can't blame you for cleaning the floor as much time as you spend on it. your attention to detail show Mr Dos is looking fantastic.
Sarah try the mk1 mr2 you got to drop the engine & transmission through the bottom to work on the clutch or water pump.
0:36 Got so sad almost thought the TT is gone, the TT was the main reason I subscribed to your channel. Would be very sad to see it go, but I still enjoy your channel either way
Oh yeah.....you definitely need your own TV show :)
I forcefully removed a couple studs from my convertible Celica one time. Really bad idea. I'm lucky to be here ... Anyway, thanks for demo'ing the proper procedure.
Looking good!
I can't believe u cleaned the garage! I would NEVER do that.
Sarah, I think you should look for an old pickup truck (1940s-1960s) for your next build. You could make it a resto-mod any way you want.
Happy to see Cheerleader Sarah again! 0:59 🥳🥳🥳
Nice go fasters! ( new balance shoes) yes... That's what i noticed in this vid! Lol
One thing I always do when installing wheel studs is put a small dab of anti seize on the threads the help alleviate some stress
40 studs (20 off & 20 on) in 15:39 minutes that's gotta be a some sort of "automotive" record; all on a spotless floor too. Keep up the great vids.
I'd say youd never have a problem banging out studs Sarah 😏 specially with them guns popping out and blowing your sleeves off like they are 💪💪
very entertaining and informative
Your garage looks so nice. I would love to park my car in there.
I like the clean garage :)
Lisle makes a tool for putting those studs in. It's basically just a thrust bearing then you use a regular nut on it.
The look on your face after the “stud” comments was priceless ! 😆👍
I watched it more than once lol
I like the way you work
Wauw, love your car.!!
Love your ink and nail color
@Sarah, please buy yourself a proper mallet. Claw hammers do not belong around vehicles. :)
Don Olypopper hehehe I see😂😂
Telling sarah this now don’t change the fact it was still there in the video. Hehehehe it was to trigger car folk to keep watching 😂😂
ACTUALLY I USE CLAW HAMMERS to find crabs.. :)
I knew there was a stud joke coming up 😉 i was surprised that it took that long 😆
Hehehehe I think I would care enough to watch sarahs content and allow Sarah to have a little fun cause yes the amount of time sarah puts into these cars still makes my mind hurt cause I don’t know how one person can put aside emotions aside just to work on cars for others to see. It’s like blow me down. I can’t do that my head would collapse😂
I need to clean my garage too..it's a mess and all my tools are all out of the tool chest..haha
Always loved that style MR2 but having watched quite a few of these videos they look like a pain in the butt to work on.
