Look's good but you made a "mistake". The idea of a dam for a hydroelectric plant is to gain height. The water has mass and when that mass gains heigth it will get more potential energy stored in it. When you make the water turn the impeller it is done at the top. When you extend the axle from the dynamo down to almost at the bottom the water has much more power to turn the blades. Make sure you have some sliding bearing (can be as simple as having the axle to protrude through the impeller and resting inside a plastic bearing that sit's at the bottom or is suspended between the two vertical pipewalls). The way you have your impeller in the current design in this video could also be 10 cm above the bottom with a 20 cm high dam. The high dam has no purpose at the moment in your design.
