Thank you so much for this video....it's a truth that I feel stuck when I start a painting. So beautifully you have explained the colors. Thank you so much 💓
This short and concise video really helps!! Why do people teach adding so much white? I do think it can be a problem for me when mixing colors. Great video Malcolm 🎉😊
Your videos always contain a lot of great information in even a shorter tutorial Malcolm. That is how, colour mixing is for me at times (Reds/Red-Violets in particular). Many thanks for breaking it down into, a more concise form, it is so helpful. Great to put into practice right away.
This is a great video thanks Malcolm! I’ve not seen colours explained like this before . Brilliant. I’ve only recently discovered your channel and I really love your attitude and way of explaining things, your quiet calm encouragement . “Just get and paint, no stress”….Many thanks Malcolm! PS and of course I love your pictures!
really enjoyed this video about color mixing. sounds like it would be enjoyable practice. Have a question. have a couple of cats so the box that thier wet food comes in has these small cardboard seperators. In one of your videos you mentioned the brand name of a oil painting primer. for paper. can you mention the name of that product? Thank you.
Thanks Malcolm 👍 😊 Very clear!
Thank you, Malcolm
This really sums up colour mixing in one short neat video.

Wow! Thanks again Malcolm. This lesson has really enlightened (no pun) my understanding of color blending using the three primary colors.
Gracias Malcolm 🎨

There are many brands, but I mostly use Daler Rowneys's gesso primer.
My nemesis is mixining a pale pink that is not chalky, too cool. or peach. I would love to see how you do this.
you may want to try a different red like quinacridone red? Something strong like that.
