I just bought both your books!!! Love all your videos!! I picked sewing back up to make masks. Now I’m sewing more for fun. Your style of sewing and teaching are a perfect fit for me. Thanks for all you do. 💕
Thank you so much, Virginia. You are so generous with your tutorials and ideas. Please know you are appreciated. I will definitely make this. I just subscribed to your blogposts and will check out your wonderful books.
Very nice bag, and it can take a lot of things. Looks smart and it’s a personal kind of bag. Like all other things we make. It’s unique .... that is what I like of make your own things. ...love your works. ❤️🌹❤️🌹❤️
Its been a while since I've sewn anything and so this was a good, easy project to get me started again for the summer! I love my bag! Thanks so much for sharing!
Hi,Virginia. Thank you for the tutorial. I have both of your books and you mention duck cloth a lot. In this particular piece I noticed the instructions offer canvas as an alternative. I live in Japan and English is a foreign language to me. I'm not sure what this type of fabric is called here. Looking at the pictures it seemed like a light canvas. Is it? How would it compare to canvas ? Thank you.
hi Abbey! yes- it gives extra weight to the base and also because I wanted to work in the constraints of the 1/2 yard pieces of fabric. But you could use quilting cotton there if you prefer!
Love the bag and all of your videos
thank you clair!
