OUR STORY:
We are a Polish family (Ania, Bartek, Kuba and Julian) traveling around the world with our floating home trimaran, as a way to promote an alternative lifestyle outside the system. In our episodes, we want to inspire you to a conscious life, to reach your own needs, feelings, not to put your dreams (small and large) to "sometime", and bring awareness into our lives. Your support shows us that this awakening of awareness about life outside the system is needed and you want more!
If you feel that our creation is valuable to you, brings something to your everyday life and would like to contribute to the growth of our channel, our production, we will be grateful for your gratitude. We have prepared a lot of extras for our patrons, we invite you to a closed group on facebook "The LOVE Boat - SailOceans Patrons Community", where we publish additional content and videos.

Of ALL of the CZcams sailing channels I have watched over the past 10 years your bedroom / bed view is the best of them all.
Its on...when you declare that your boat is the fastest cruiser trimarian on the water. I can see it now... The most watched episode on YT ... A trimaran rece between you and La Vagabond. The boat is beautiful. Fare winds dear friends.
Thank you, though we specifically claim that ours is the fastest CRUISING tri out there. Rapido is very likely faster than Poly in most if not all conditions. However, we don't consider the new La Vagabonde to be suitable for cruising with even just a family of 4 onboard beyond a weekend away from the supply chain in any sort of reasonable comfort. In our humble opinion it does not offer sufficient space for either the occupants or nor the provisions and stock of spare parts and tools to serve as a proper long term living and sailing platform away from the system for extended periods of time. Of course that again is only our opinion, and everyone is entitled to their own, but we very much believe we may be proven correct once they actually start their adventure with the new boat. Cheers and thank you again for watching and writing us. Fare winds to you too mate. B
@@sailoceans
Still have a race... You can give handicaps where needed... Modify the race accordingly. What an episode that would be.
@aquasapien9275 we're up, but they are on the other side of the World and not in the water. Plus we have to wait a bit and race not until they will have loaded all their living necessities and comforts aboard just like we did over the last few year adding few tonnes. These boats are very weight sensitive as they significantly sink with every additional ton of load degrading performance even more significantly. U can't have it both ways all the way :😀. Cheers. B
@@sailoceansI agree with your assessment. That is exactly what I thought on that Rapido. Their kids in separate hulls and having to come on deck to go to the saloon is outrageous. Or just unrealistic.
@@sailoceans thats the exact same thing i thought when i saw their new boat.
way too small for their needs, even under normal conditions one of them is sleeping in the eating area which is converted to a bed and now that they have two other people on board one is sleeping in the kitchen area and one was sleeping in a little mosquito tent on the outside of the boat because it only has two cabins.
I remember the old layout well and this is so much better. I look forward to the next episode on the technical side.
The interior design is jaw droppingly gorgeous. A woman's touch goes so far, from the practical music section, the flower arrangements, the colour and lighting schemes . Stunning.
Thank you so much!
FWIW: As I have said in previous comments, I really love multihulls, even though I am not a boater.
That said, it looks like your _trimaran_ has so much _room inside!_
"Yoga snake" 🤣🤣🤣🤣
In all seriousness: the more we see of the result after the refit, the more it becomes obvious how much new life was breathed into Poly and what a fun future she has ahead.
Looking forward to episode 3, since the "how" of these kinds of boats is one of the things I find most fascinating. Can't wait to hear all the 'boring' technical talk and jargon that makes other people groan. 😉
It's coooooming ;). Cheers mate. B
Just like Ania, Poly only gets better.
Congratulations for all your hard work.
Lovely creatures.
Thank you very much! I think Ania is also getting better thanks to her hard work :). Cheers mate.

It's just beautiful and congratulations, your hard work paid off! I have a weird superpower, that I can watch something and then dream about it or even live it at night. I thought everybody could do this until I mentioned to a work colleague that I was looking forward to continuing my dream from a previous night. How lucky we are X
Wow! What a transformation! Beautiful! What a ton of work. But you got it done and it’s fantastic. Congratulations guys. Awesome job 👍🏻
Thanks so much!
Great layout and space utilication - and beautiful
Thanks so much!
Very impressed with the 4 extra beds in that crew can escape into solitude and read a book, listen to music or take a nap. Makes living on a boat much easier. Nice refit. Thanks.
You're the amas are kind of like separate guesthouses. More basic but well isolated. Cheers. B
Such a nice vibe you two give off. The boat looks great, inside and out.
Love you guys! What a dreamy vessel you have. Looking forward to part 3!
Very soon! 😍🙏
fantastic job can't wait to see it all then perform on the water
What you have done to that prototype Neil is awesome! Good on you two!
Thanks!
I love this lifestyle so don’t mind watching both channels 😂 The massive amount upgrading ❤ wish good winds on Bahamas 😊
Thank you!!
Simply fantastic. What a wonderful life you guys are living 🏅💖
It really is! Thank you.
cannot wait to see part 3

Fantastic job guys keep up with new episodes 🤙
Thank you. We're trying. Two channels is not easy :)
Absolutely awesome job guys. Love your boat!
Thanks so much!
Great! looking forward to the new episode. The boat was huge, and it was ready for any unusual weather condition. I love the paint inside and outside of the boat; it's clean and simplistic, but it has a modern touch. Greeting from the Philippines.
Thank you 😍
Love your Boat...you take me to places i only dream off...
Great joke on the end about guests not staying to long because of Spartan quarters. You guys are fun loving people.
Your tri looks great, spacious and practical, a superior refit with lots of upgrades.
Thank you and thank you 😍
Well done on the refit it seems like you have done a great job on the living space. I bet the rest is well thought out and look forward to watching those episodes
Thank you very much!
Simply astounding the massive all around improvements you did to your boat. There's so much it's hard to take it all in one viewing. The cabins in the amas are an excellent idea. Very comfy looking and ideal to get away from activity in the bridge-deck living area. Especially useful if you often have overnight guests. The Neel 47 also has cabins in the amas separate from the saloon and its popular with owners of that model.
Incidentally, Neel must have been ahead of their time by running lines into the interior of the saloon in the original configuration of your yacht. Other manufacturers have also done this. I understand it didn't make sense for your needs because this is foremost a home and wouldn't be optimal to retain lines inside. The yachts that have interior lines are specialized boats. The tech room looks extremely well done and reminds me of the corresponding room in the Neel 51, which has been praised in every review of that model for its unique functionality and practicality. Superbly well thought out modifications. Can't thank you enough for showing us your amazing home and yacht. I'm learning a lot in each episode and cannot wait for the next one!
Thank you. We agree on most counts. Sorry, for mey be a stupid question, but after all these years, English is till not our native language. What does it mean to "run the interior lines straight into the salon"?
@@sailoceans Apologies, that was a textual error on my part. I meant running lines to the interior of the saloon. LOL, it was late when I typed my comment. I'm referring to the original setup at 4:00 . Other manufacturers like Broadblue have similar arrangements now... czcams.com/video/soWb5EWEKx8/video.html

Amazing refit, she looks beautiful.
Thank you! Cheers!
excellent boat. Excellent interiors, excellent engine room
Many thanks!
Awesome job on the refit!
Thank you! Cheers!
Uhm Have you seen the lack of detail and all the massive imperfections in finishings ?
@EBZlivinglarge that's how u do a massive refit in less than a year worth of work. U do the big and important stuff while on the hard and then u finish the details nice and easy as time permits while enjoying Caribbean blue instead of snow in the shipyard. Of course u can do it the hard and long way. Our preferred choice is obvious. Cheers mate. B
WOW I love what you did with the new bedrooms! AMAZING IDEA! So cool!
Poly looks great. I'd rather own and sail her than a brand new one. In general a well refitted boat is often better than a new one.
Brilliant fix of the living room seat storage. There are a lot of things in our world designed in minutes, never given a second thought, and then they annoy the crap out of us every time we use them. (The guys on my recent crossing always gave me a hard time because I complain about this stuff. I also want to fix it. When one guy suggested "Why don't you write a letter to the company?" They enjoyed harassing me with that, until I told them about a letter I wrote to Ford and they gave us a free car. )
Do you communicate with Neel about any of this? Surely over the years since Poly was a prototype you and they have come up with a lot of ideas.
I like dirtbag camping in my cars. My Prius V was perfect. There's a handhold above each rear door. From the driver's seat, I can stretch back, grab the handhold and pull myself back on to my mattress. I fold like a jackknife, then extend my legs to the back. (All my childhood astronaut fantasies!) My Tesla Model Y, even more comfortable, doesn't have this handle so even though it's bigger, it's harder to get back there and turned around. Maybe in the Polynesian suite and the ama berths hand holds might make it easier to get in and out. I like hand holds everywhere. I figured out that two or three handles on those really steep Japanese staircases and you could go up and down faster and safer than any stairway or ladder.
We had Starlink on our sailing voyage from Vietnam to Canada. The biggest issue was turning off all the parasitic functions on our phones: auto back up, photo sharing, auto updates of apps we never use. Navionics app was a huge draw. The owner and first mate kept it, I had to turn mine off. One day I downloaded a 200mb file from Audible, read a couple of newspapers, no video -- 4 Gigs. I'm still trying to figure that out.
I agree. Ignorance is not a bliss ;). Though I admit I usually take a different angle. Rather than complaining to the manufacturer I fix it myself, because it's usually quicker :D.
I do agree that some of the stuff in some design is not well thought out, but I think it is often because designers do not sail the boats, so no direct feedback on own creations.
In their defence, it's impossible to create a boat, a car that fits everyone's priorities. Hence if you want near perfection that serves maximum number of your priorities you're destined to design and perfect your own. We decided on the compromise and took what was a neglected genius platform and concept and rebuilt it modifying to serve our unique requirements as best as it's humanly possible given the superstructure and some other constraints.
Thank you for sharing your stories. I feel you with the internet. We just used Starlink on the way back from the Bahamas and one day we had a similar spike that cost us pretty penny. It wasn't obvious what went into internet devouring mode and I had more important things to take care of on that trip than a full on network admin investigation :D.
Cheers mate. Happy sailing. B
Excellent set up.
Thanks!
Nie mogę się doczekać 3 części
Same here ;)
Beautifull and way more functional. 👍👍
We agree! Thanks. :)
Very impressive. I'm taking my boat to Poland for a refit if I ever have one.
Now that's what I call a cruising yacht, love it ,100 pr cent better than lavagabond 3,they made a big,big mistake
belle rénovation magnifique trimaran bon voyage
Merci
Bravu you guys Poly is a beautiful awesome boat
Thank you:)
Well done!
Perfekte Arbeit👌
Great video Guys 🎉. Amazing upgrades. Would be great to see what investments in terms cash were taken.
I had a Piver Nimble here in New Zealand so I was an early convert :-) Congratulations on your extensive refit .
Thank you! Excuse the lazy question, what's Piver Nimble?
@@sailoceans Arthur Piver was famous for designing Trimarans in the 1960’s look up Piver Trimaran on Google and you will see ....Piver made his plans available and they were built all over the place including New Zealand . I sailed from Fiji to Samoa in a 40 ft River Tri !! I like tri’s thats why I follow you :-)
Thank you for enlightening us on the history. We just looked it up. Wow, so this is the predecessor of Neel concept. Cool. Cheers mate. B
My dream would be to travel around the world on a 100% solar hydrogen electric trimaran. Only a matter of time before this becomes a reality. Energy Observer hydrogen-powered catamaran shows this is possible even with a sizeable crew.
Indeed. We've seen them in Martinique few years ago. Matter of time and working out the kinks with new technologies. Cheers mate. B
H² = 👍👍
Very interesting!
Glad you think so!
Very nice boat with great ideas. When do you guys plan to publish part 3 with the technical details 😉?
Not sure yet
Как же классно! Вы молодцы.
Большое спасибо :)
Great boat, are you still going to do a episode on the technical aspects?
2 thumbs up.
thank you!
👍👍👍
Guy you mentioned in a previous episode that you had replaced the galley floor covering with something cheap but better than before. What did you use? It's on my project list. Thanks
Starting at about 00:59 in this video:
_Ania_ saying *_"hole"_* reminded me that almost every time I try to transcribe the word *_"multihulls"_* using voice-to-text on my smartphone, it types out *_"multi HOLES."_* This is DESPITE the fact I speak with a fairly flat Midwestern American accent...🙄🤭
Great modification and ingenious ideas you guys have implemented. Can you let us know about how much money it takes to get into ta boat like this with the current modifications? For example what did you pay for the boat and then the upgrades thereafter? I realize you did most of the work so labor would be a huge costs but just a ball-park figure nothing specific. I enjoy all of your videos and I can't wait to retire and sail around the world myself.
It is very difficult to asses on the cost side and there are few different reason some of which you already rightly pointed out. It is just as complicated to asses the cost based on market value, cause there aren't any close comparisons. I'll try to give this subject proper attention in future boat tout parts or in one of the Q&As as it is a popular question that doesn't really have a simple answer in our case. Cheers. Bartek
PS. Good luck on your plans.

😍
Great job! It would be nice if you would share cost of such refit in Poland.
Thank you. Noted!
The guest cabins being not too comfortable is the same philosophy as the Daschew familly on their huge Beowulf explorer monohull ....
You can still mount and run compact electric retracting drives in the out riggers if you go hybrid sometime.
Take a look at the Windelos... by the way Basalt for boat buildinging is being developed in Poland .. .
The other thing is a new generation of compact efficient ICe Motors as APU generator engines is being developed ... The result tends to be they are 30% more fuel efficient ...they are very compact ..lighter and simpler to run and maintain.
Fluid piston motors seem to be heading up the game but there is also the free opposed piston recipprocating generator from the Uk ... Durham university.
We'll talk about it, but for us reliability is the key. I know nothing of these new motor designs. Perhaps they are indeed revolutionary. However, if we use the engine for few hundred hours a year any however big savings are still negligible in a grand scheme. Hence our ultimate decision to keep the bigger diesel. Thank you for the info though. I'll read up on it at some point. Cheers. B
@@sailoceans
I understand your position... but keep an eye on where things are going and whats coming into use .
A lot of areas are beginning to introduce conservation areas that dont allow ICE use in those areas. The ability to creep up on or pass through marine mammal reserves brings more than dolphins up to have a look.😉🇬🇧🧙♂️
We do for sure :). Cheers mate.

I will try smuggling some ⛵links to interesting reading to you sometime 😁🇬🇧🧙♂️
Please do.
Starting at about 17:43 in this video:
Being 5'5" {165 cm} tall, I would fit PERFECTLY...😊
What is model name your trimaran?
where is part 3? I need it!
It's coming. In great pains 🤣
is there a trimaran whose interiors are anywhere near as gargantuan as this one? this is a palace, a floating villa 🤯
🌈⛵🌞🤠👍
😍
If I shared an anchorage with you in a country that allows waste, which toilet are you using? Why not at least have a macerator that dumps directly overboard?
We do. We talked about it.
@@sailoceans A Macerator would at least cut up the large 💩so that it breaks down more quickly. Your toilet just dumps to sea, so it takes longer. I'm not on board with your design (also seems a bit dangerous to have that large of a hole in your boat).
too much humidity ruins the sound of a guitar. you should put it in a water proof case with desiccants when not in use
Starting at about 02:58 in this video:
*WORKSHOPS ARE NOT SUPPOSED TO BE PRETTY!* 😉
Congratulations, your boat is really amazing & very spacious. I am looking forward to following your journey......
Thank you. Welcome aboard!
congratz on your beautiful boat xx !!!
Thank you 😊
I don't want to be swimming near your boat at anchor after #2 in drop toilet
Rarely see curtains, makes it look very homie. I'd break my toes on those hatches.
That's why we use the left toilet with the macerator whenever it's not appropriate and/or legal to use the right one. Cheers. B
@@sailoceans Bugga that, if I'm over for drinks & urgent have to go, & your already using the mac, guess what I'm using 😁
Don’t mean to Troll but… most Luxurious cruising trimaran is a much better headline than fastest which is a ridiculous call. Not even close
But you’re probably trolling for hits so you got me😊
Hahaha, it worked :D. So which one in your opinion is the fastest CRUISING tri?
PS. Next episode is gonna be called "The Most Luxurious ..." :D. Thanks. Cheers. B
But it’s a magnificent boat and you should be proud of the amazing transformation and work you guys put in.
@@sailoceans well we all have varied opinions of what a cruising tri is. A Dragonfly 28 just won the Round the Island race in Britain and I think that’s a beautiful cruising tri. And I love my Farrier F22 for cruising although granted it’s a very different style of cruising.
I think we’d be pressed to go past the Rapido 60 as the fastest production cruising tri but as you said, a lot less cruising amenities than your magnificent boat but then that’s what you sacrifice for speed.
All depends where you want/can sit on the speed, comfort, price scale
@Bluejay103 I posted a lengthy reply yesterday, but since we effectively stirred the pot with that title I'll explain in one of the next episodes what "Cruising" means to us. In the end it's as you rightly pointed out highly subjective. Cheers. B
Are you ever going to start back doing English videos
牛逼
sell me the boat
The price would be so absurdly high that it wouldn't make any sense to you by the time it would start to make sense to us ;). It's nearly perfect for us and to outdo Poly only by a slight margin we'd have to design and build something very similar from scratch and you probably know what that process entails, hence Poly is near priceless to us. Cheers mate. B
@@sailoceans while watching this video i kept thinking that that is the last boat you will ever need for the rest of your life, perfect refit, like you said, priceless! Congrats!
That is a distinct possibility :D. Hence we have no issues pumping sweat, blood, money, time, and energy into it to serve us well for as long as we want to stay afloat. Cheers and thank you. B
Raw sewage is not cool, should have kept that a secret.
We don't have secrets.
nice boat just a shame you had to ruin the video taking the micky out of people wanting to stay longer
What's a "micky" that ruin the video for you?
it means taking the piss out of someone@@sailoceans
Sorry, still didn't get it. Slang is not our strong suit it being not our native language.
Spoiled brats with old money. The funniest thing is that they will never be happy with what they have.
Unique way to introduce yourself. Pleasure to meet you nevertheless. Sorry, that you did not have a chance to struggle to what you have in life. From our experience, everything that we worked for and now enjoy makes things taste million times better. I am glad we weren't given our home and skills. I am glad we had to learn them to build all that we now call our life. It is worth the effort to be able to appreciate the result. Cheers. B
A bottomless toilet that goes directly into the ocean is unethical. If every toilet on the open seas (where there is no law prohibiting such “toilets) did what you were doing it would likely be adversely impactful on the very environment you and I both love.
Youre mad... Do you think all fishes goes to the bathroom? Go complain to all Indian Bangladesh etc. people throwing everything into the rivers
