When you’re at the barbers table, bring your best mind set! I appreciate the theory you bring on the channel kev! Not just cutting hair, but understanding hair and tools! An educated barber is the best barber!
Awesome platform #millsthebarber
Honestly some of the most underrated content.
It's cool how you put everything into perspective on zero gapping as a domino effect, once you zero-gap one in your lineup you have to zero Gap them all so they can blend into each other effortlessly
Knowledge base is crazy. Thanks to you it's helped me make the jump into chasing the dream. Preciate ya dawg
Hey Kev just want to say your channel is one of the reasons I started my own barber journey I want to say thank you and appreciate your continuing craft for quality content 🙏
Proud to have helped ignite that fire, man. Thanks for letting me know, keep growing bro 🙏🏾
im a newly started barber with minimal experience. I appriciate every video you do and please do not stop at all cost. i always learn new things about clippers and trimmers when im watching your videos. I love the effort and high quality brings more too the table. ceep up the good work !!!!! from sweden btw:)
You explained the concept of zero gapping perfectly. I have never seen anyone explain it this way. Thanks You.
Learning a lot from this channel. I really learn how to be a better barber watching this guy. I appreciate everything you have touched base on, to teach us how to do things correctly. Thanks bro.
The new set looks amazing, been watching you for a long minute, and quality of the video and and content just gets better and better
That was probably the most helpful video I’ve seen on the topic. Very clear and straightforward.
Thank you, this was a serious break down and not AT ALL boring like many instructional videos are. Thanks again.
Bro, love the way you explain things, so relatable to how I explain lol, completely get what you're saying man, thanks for making it so easy to understand, as I said, you're definitely in my top 5 barbers👌🏽
Just purchased a babyliss for personal use. I’m not a barber but I found this video informative and entertaining. Well done sir.
Wow! This is the best explanation and simplified as well. Thank you.
This guy literally explains things so damn good bro, thanks this is so helpful 💯🙏
Really appreciate your content and how you explain things in detail. I’ve learned a lot from you. Salute to you.
This man speaks logic. I dont know anything about you or your channel but your communication skills are bueno. Consider teaching as a career! Props.
Thanks for explaining!! Best explanation i’ve found 🔥🔥
I’m starting but I seen people say don’t and do I’ll see what works for me 🙌🏽 thank you for the info 🖤
The 'TABLE' that is always 'UP' to a 'FEAST' to subscribers . THANK YOU KEVV.
Cool. I did this anyway without understanding what the term meant. First video i watched on it and you nailed it.
Well explained sir.
Excellent tutorial.👍🏻
Great explanation
Magnificent explanation period!
I'm not even a barber but i understood what ur talkin about, u made the whole thing so easy to get.
Great demonstration! I’ve learned a lot , Thanks!!
If you don't, you should teach! That was a long tutorial, with lots of information, but it shiwed knowledge, was concise, well explained, and you reiterated points when needed. Whether you're teaching Nuclear Physics, plumbing, or medicine, this is what it takes to be a great teacher! Keep up the good work!
amazing lesson. thank you kev
Great explanation my guy
Love the visuals
thanks for the info... I'm a home cutter im not a barber or even taking the name i have always cut my own hair and now my sons hair, i zero gap my legend clippers and luckily I used it on my self first and yes the next day I had cuts on my head i adjusted like u said to have a small gap to not cut my own head or my sons head.
That was super clear - thanks
Dope! Thanks man.
Yo broke this down so throughly bro thank you very much 💪🏾
Great stuff bro! Really really good content! 🎯👌🏾💯
Simply said, thank you!
Thx 🙏🏽 for the info, G
Hey, thanks man. I wish all youtubers were as Wise as you. My mission was to replace my norelco one blade, that goes dull too quickly with a quality zero gap quality trimmer. I shave my face with the one blade and it's the closest shave possible without using a razor.Your Explanation of guard thickness made me realize that any zero gap trimmer will neve replace the one blade. The micro thickness of the one blade is unbeatable unless you use a real razor. If these companies could make the one blade way more powerful it could cut through bulk witch it does not probably because of clogging. I'm not promoting the one blade as it's exclusively for personal use and works well but would never survive a busy day trimming. In short your wonderful tutorial saved me from spending $200 on a quality zero gap only to find out it won't work for a daily shaver as I would have expected. Is my observation on the right track?
best barber video ive watched
You always explain it in the simplest way in which a person can understand. Thx!! 🔥🔥
Great content 👍 first time subscriber
Broke it down beautifully✍🏿
Excellent video. Props
Ty!
good insightful video
What an amazing video, you're a legend. Thank you!
I get it, thanks! 💜
Great education video brotha 👍👍🎓📹
Loved the vid, but for future reference, you should give pictures of what zero gapping looks like before and after for people who don’t understand the gestures you’re making with your hands, personally i know about it, but for a beginner, it may be confusing without a live demonstration or pictures 🙏🏽
This video was incredibly useful. Like.
Beautiful video
God Bless you Kev ‼️
Great video bro, got my sub!
This is a very important video 🔥
You are the goat 🐐 you make this so easy to understand and are so good with your words. Finna subscribe and tag along your journey as I start mine 👏🏼

@@nickortiz8571 💯
You have a very nice case. I only cut my own hair since my barber & his wife passed away in 2000. I unfortunately do not know how to properly use the straight blade to myself so I use my foil.
Can you please make a video on how you zero gap your clippers and different ways to do it? I zero grapped my trimmers and even the ligtest touch felt like i was cutting skin. love your videos
Good breakdown
Thanks bro 🙏🏾
i’m just now learning how to cut hair , i’m 17 right now, i feel like by june imma be so good
Great video, helped alot but what does you mean by the term "flick out"
Damn that was a lot of info to absorb. Great info. I'm just looking for the best clippers that are simple to adjust to give me a very close cut for my SMP head without using a foil shaver or razor. Looks like the Babyliss pro is best simple option for me to cut my hair ever day or so.
yo kev can u just make a full video on how to take out the first line of demarcation. i think alot of people and beginner barbers would benefit from it.
cutting hair is an art man i be trynna tell ppl
Can you post a link to the trimmers in the description or list the makes and models?
can you make a video about speed o guide guards?
Hands down, this is the best tutorial explaining this on CZcams. Thank you
Can u tell me how much length the taper is when it's fully open after u zero gap it.
Does the trimmer cut less lenght when the lever is fully open if you zero gap the trimmer? Hope you understood.
My Whal trimmers gave me a very sore neck after I used the Wahl zero gapping tool. maybe I need to use shaving gel with it.
Can you make a Video on taper vs fade blade, please.
Yo bro where did you get your Barber Case
God loves every single one no matter what❤️❤️❤️❤️
I have a wähl super taper and just got slimline pro and and is foil shaver. should I zero gap the trimmers? and also clipper?
What do you think of the wahl tools?? Are they good
Bro you have to try the renpho trimmer with the t wide Wahl blade. It’s such a hitter.
Any tips on controlling your hands? I’m very new so idk if it’s nerves and everybody has this stage or it’s me but my hands shake.
How much should I gap my wahl senior clippers for trimming my beard to 1-1.5? Pretty thick ethnic beard
Bro I have a question. is it normal when you fix the clipperzero gap to change the way it sound or something is incorrect
Im no barber, i just maintain in between cuts.very good tutorial
can you do a mid far tutorial for a beginner
if you zero gap them can you still use guards to do a 1 and 2 etc...
I’m trying to decide on whether to get the andis slimline or wahl cordless detailers. Also I’m trying to decide Between the magic clips and the super taper
Magic clip 1000%
I just started cutting my own hair. It's getting easier, but I'm still no where near where my barber used to get it. Do you have any advice or videos on straight razor techniques?
I agree man, however the question then becomes why not just use one clipper zero gapped when closed to cut and line and then go straight to the razor? I think it depends how much 'prep' work do you want to do before finalizing the work with that razor blade, but zero gapping isnt necessary. Although, I do have mine gapped lol.
Absolutely agreed. There is no need for any modification. As I said, it’s just to make the a process easier. The reason we have a clipper and a trimmer is because it allows for one blade to be thinner than the other, and it allows for one machine to be smaller than the other. I rather not line up with a bulky clipper. And I rather not fade with a small one.
What’s good
God bless everyone 🙏❤️
🔥!
Hello Notification Squad!
Hi kevv hope all is well.
Miguel Torres Thanks bro. Same to you Miguel!
Can you line urself up with zero gap clippers
So i should zero gap my cordless masters, i have a cord pair that isnt zero gapped btw, just use those for tapering, then zero gap the cordless and zero gap my babyliss trimmers correct? If you have a video out on zero gapping masters and or babyliss would you please leave a link or inform me. Thank you!!
Btw i do use the foil shavers but just starting to use the razor
fire vids
Great! Thanks for the review.
If you interest for unboxing and affiliate, please let us know.
dope vid
Joel Gonzalez appreciate you fam 🙏🏾
The Barber's Table de nada your videos help me out a lot. You’re my favorite youtuber
But doesn't zero gapping a clipper not scratch the guard while having a close lever?
From what I've noticed and have looked into is the following.
Tapper Blade 0x3 (#000)
Fade Blade 0x4 (#0000)
Trimmer 0x5 (#00000)
Correct me if I'm wrong. 🧐🤔
Jose Caez that’s correct. I tried not to be technical on this one just so people could visualize the differences.
@@KevvThaw thank you for explaining it in a better way. I'm still new to all this and it took me 5 or 6 months to understand the concept of all of this and you made it sound simple and easier than when I was trying to figure it out. You're the man 💈🔥
