Actually this might not be such a bad idea. Spaceballs was a parody of the then recent and wildly successful Star Wars. Maybe now would be a good time for a parody of the wildly bad Disney Star Wars?
A Spaceballs II could've worked in 2007 on the first film's 20th anniversary; with Mike Myers as the filmmaker and as both President Skroob and Yogurt. It parodies Star Wars (Prequel Trilogy), Planet of the Apes (remake), The Fifth Element, Independence Day, Men in Black, AVP, etc.
@@KenMasters. I meant that kindly. Because they did do the 20th anniversary type of deal. Be interesting if did something like 29 or 30 year anniversary! It just my opinion.
@@KenMasters. I don't movies as much as have been uninteresting to me especially franchise movies. I did like Dune, Oppenheimer and The Beekeeper as the most I watched.

There's no way they can have Rick Moranis. Even Ghostbusters didn't

But being spaceballs it's makes it even more odd and less conforming😅

2017 was where movies stopped being fun and hilarious, because they got too political.
