Those jungle perch will tell stories for generations about the giant alien that brought them flies...
SPEECHLESS 😮 this could have been hours long, and I'm sure we'd all be for it. What a spot, trip, upload, if you ever needed company? there'd be a decade-long waiting list 👌👍🤙
That jungle perch looked devastated that you had run out of flies. Very cool place mate.
I am more jealous of you with every video. Australia is beautiful!! I want to travel there sooooo bad. You my friend, are the greatest advocate for tourism!!!! Another fantastic video Rod!! XOXOX
My wife and I are heading to Brisbane on Sunday! A 16 hour flight from Edmonton Canada. Hope you get there one day too.
It’s a very good place to live
@@Robb_K Make sure you get to Sydney, Brisbane is 30 years behind it & a million times better!
@@jarnosaarinen4583 thanks for that! We have 6 weeks down there and will also be in Sydney. Thanks for the tip.
@@Robb_K Have a great time! I know that you will and thank you!!
I’ve watched youtube as my primary entertainment source (don’t have cable or any other streaming services) for 10 years or more, and I like to watch a lot of different types of content. I say that so that this comes with context, that was easily the best video I’ve seen on youtube! Needs to be top trending for sure!! That place is an absolute dream!!!!
NO DRONES!😂
❤❤
Thanks for the nice comment mate🤙
Mate, I’ve been fishing for 20 years since I was a kid and never threw a cast like the one at 16:48 Beautiful toss and method!
Yea these hollow belly plastics skim for ages👌
You should do an episode catching jungle perch! They’re such a cool fish!
Yea would be cool, there’re sick little fish 👍
@@rokkitkit they go pretty hard on ultra light gear too! & the places you catch them in are just amazing!
thanks for not beeing like other fisherman that dont unalive the fish before putting them in their cooler 👍
haha this is the definition of living your best life. Well deserved Rod! good to see good things happening to nice people. Appreciate all the effort that goes into filming these trips as well. Been following since about 10k subs. What a journey!
Thanks for the support over the years mate🤙
Hi Rokkit, just wondering where this is mate?looks like a god place to spend a day with my wife and son.
The good ol checkengine light no trip would be complete without :)
😂
How luck we are to have such beauty on our door step and so few know about it. Great vid Rod :)
We learn our strengths and weaknesses by what we choose to do vs what we walk away from. Thanks for sharing your challenges and thoughts and not giving up.
That place is awesome Rod. One of the greatest things I’ve done was hike that island with the mrs and kids over 5 days. So jealous
Yea it’s pretty special place for sure, a mate was showing me all these pics of so many other waterfalls 👌😊
What island mate? Or what's close to it?
@@mattcollyer6307 Hinchinbrook
Geez mate, you never dissappoint. Such unique footage, and what a life you're living!
Another amazing video and love the little TT teaser at the end! Can't wait for the next installment :)
I've been waiting so long for another rokkit-turtle collab. The last one is one of you best videos IMO
That island is stunning. Brings back good memories sitting at the upper falls sharing a meal with some fellow campers as the sun went down. Can't beat it. Those fish at the lower falls are so cute. Truly a magical place.
What island?
Check engine light, the sign of a Land Rover owner lol
Looking forward to the next part of the series, I know that boat you showed at the end. Not the hand built raft he used to have.
Amazing Rod, beautiful views, and wow just a great trip there! That shot, while swimming on that waterfall hole with a view overlooking the ocean - wow so cool and amazing!🤙
Good to see you stopped in to visit the frat house 😂
Please remember to smash the like. Let's show Rod how much we appreciate his uploads.
I love the new camera setup. Much clearer than the GoPro. I can actually see where your lure and line are thrown unlike with the GoPro where they would just disappear. Much better quality. Beautiful views, Rod. Thanks for taking us on another journey. :)
From the from those of us who have trouble walking thank you for taking us along great video great View
Dude that boat is so sick. Like the perfect adventure craft. Hardy enough for an ocean but small enough for a mangrove river. Just so cool.
This man is living the true meaning of life ❤
and that is my goal too 🥰
NICE!!! Best part of my Saturday morning❤️ Stunning vid and adventure yet again Rod❤️
Go Bokke💪🏻🇿🇦🇳🇿
WOW, what a view 😮 and the swimming holes gosh just amazing well worth it
Absolute madlad walking through the jungle without shoes
Check Engine Lights on Rod 😂
If it starts blinking pull over and immediately turn it off! 🎉
having coral trout sashimi at that top waterfall is soo beautyy.. "wow"🎉😮
The jungle perch where so cool 🤩👍🏽💯
That waterfall visit alone seems well worth the trip! Awesome one Rod!
Love it. Land Rover with an engine light.
Just been on a 6 week road trip to Cooktown and back to Brissie. We are so lucky to live in a fabula's place. Broth in law lives in Cooktown, we didn't go fishing we actually went catching lol from huge crayfish to Barra awesome time, recommend it to anyone who needs a restart. Awesome shows Rod Cheers
Yep definitely some amazing places on that strip of coast for sure 👍
The amount of nervous laughter this man produces is insane
Let’s goooo! I’m so pumped for this series!!!!!
What an amazing location! So beautiful and peaceful.✌️👍 By the way why no drones are allowed????
Wow that is very lovely 👏👏👏🎣🎣💕💕💕💕🇹🇹🇹🇹⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️👍👍👍😍😍😍😍
Stunning view on that waterfall
Wow wow love this live at its best greatening's. from South Africa
Hello, i love your posts. Thanks!
Hello from Beautiful British Columbia Canada 🇨🇦 ❤
Amazing as always! Keep up the great work.
ive always wondered how you deal with any parasites/worms when having sashimi. Typically people recommend freezing it before defrosting for sashimi.
I think his body adapted since hes been eating is so young and often in his life
@@omegarift probably. Maybe his stomach acid is strong enough to kill it. especially if hes having it on an empty stomach after a long journey.
Left me wanting more! Amazing!
Rod, you need to do a Q&A man. I'm so curious about your life experiences and what you do for a living etc. Love your vids man, so envious.
Wonderful filming! Hand feeding fish was cool ! Kansas here !
2000km with an engine management light...? OMG, Rod xD
Haha, no it’s just a evap purge fault code that pops up here and there. Not a big deal 😅👍
I am so looking forward to the rest of this❤
Cheers mate, really enjoyed that footage, all the best from a cold rainy UK
Amazing Rod. Your vids are truly one of a kind. Cheers mate.

omg thats heaven my friend! so nice place...amazing!
Beautiful vid mate, i live up at Bargara, but we dont have islands and terrain like that here, agnes waters and 1770 are probably my closest place to get my terrain and fishing fix. Our country is truly amazing, a lot of aussies forget to live a life of gratitude ❤️🇦🇺🥃

Beautiful spot Rod, I'm intrigued why is it a no Drone area ??? 👍
I’m guessing there are some protected birds or wildlife that they don’t want stressed out by the drones.
Love the Veritas rods!
Very nice place!! Congrats!! Im your fan from Brazil
lucinda is a magic place caught some epic fish up there, the sharks are crazy tho
One of my favourite spots, so beautiful

That was an awesome and very photogenic spot for sure but I almost had a stroke when you left all those marks on the graph back at the pier lol
The Dreaded Check Engine Light!

Great video..
Thanks mate 🤙
In florida we call those “jacks” mangrove snapper or gray snapper. They look slightly different but almost identical. About that size in the intracoastal areas around mangroves and bridges but further offshore in 60-80 feet we get them up to about 8 lbs. Your “jacks” seem to have a much bigger eye mainly. Probably used to be the same fish but now genetically different from pacific to Atlantic. You have a lot of similar fish. Your “flattie” closely resembles our lizard fish. Your GT is very much like our Jack Crevalle. You have another fish that looks very much like our schoolmaster snapper and dog snapper. You call “gar” what we call ballyhoo. Lots of exact same fish like mahi, cobia and wahoo. Strange how some fish species you have, we don’t ever see but some we have the exact same thing. I wish we had coral trout. Here it would be some kind of grouper. They’re definitely in the grouper family. I haven’t seen any fish here with meat that pure white and flaky with zero blood line. Looks amazing. I’d pay you a lot of money to send me one.
You should book a trip to florida I’d love to take you fishing. I could put you on whatever you want to catch just about guaranteed. Easily sailfish, Big mutton snapper, 150 lb tarpon, 20 lb snook, big grey grouper, king mackerel, blackfin tunas, dolphin, cobia, you name it. Book and air bnb, I’ll take a few days off work and we’ll go ham anytime from April - August the fishing is on fire, bait everywhere.
awesome vid
