Drew Lund creep
@@ScarrednCharred the duck
Lol he deleted his comments
i grew up in Fairfield and its the best shopping experience
@@Bubbles_blue_xo what did he say?
Never thought I'd hear the phrase "there's some Amish people up there on top of the meat section"
Ya mean animals eh?
If every grocery store was like this, id go every day xD
I hear that
Same xD
But then u know ab fnaf then u don't want to go anymore
@@Yecarii Most people have no idea what fnaf is, and it's getting annoying to see too many comparisons between fnaf and everything.
@@Yecarii ik the fnaf lore i still wanna go
Elvis is an old Pizza Time Theater/ Chuck E Cheese animatronic. So is Pedro and those birds.
TheAnimatronicFollower That's what I was thinking
He was a chef wasn't he?
My favorite Christmas song!
TheAnimatronicFollower
I always thought it was cool he had his own little private area away from the main chuck cast, always passed it on the way to the game room. I never ate in that room but I'd see him singing away in that white gem studded suit, he was cool.
TheAnimatronicFollower yea it happen when they sold the animatroincs
Two of the animatronics there were 'The King' and 'Pasqually P Pieplate' from Chuck E's pizza time theater.
And The Warblettes
Grocery stores need to be this fun. I dread going every week...
There can NEVER be too much cheese
what is this, France?
I couldn't agree more, there is NO such thing as too much cheese...
unless you’re lactose intolerant
I hate cheese.
Also that bathroom must use time lord technology
Dude if we had a Jungle Jims here in Southern California, my Sundays would be awesome! 👍🏼
I live in kansas
Oh man, you dont even know the half of it. Jacob only showed a small portion of the entire store. It's AMAZING! Theres a huge beer/wine shop (you can grab a pint or two of beer at very reasonable prices) or an artisan coffee or kumbucha to enjoy. There is a starbucks attached to the building by the beer and wind section so you can grab a coffee from them and shop. Theres also a state liquor store, but you have to leave your cart. They do ID at the door. And a cigar bar. Huge cheese and charcuterie sections arranged by locations or styles. The meat section you can get whole hogs or lamb (call ahead) or any weird cuts, or alligator, ostrich, buffalo, kangaroo, you name it, you can probably get it. Very large Asian products and produce sections. Along the far wall they have little alcoves with specialties from different places like Holland, France, Greece, Italy, India, Mexico, and so much more. Theres also I tiny movie theater that shows the "Jungle Jim's story". They have beer, bourbon, wine, hot sauce, cigar tastings multiple times a year. And a huge candy section with old fashioned candy (pez, candy cigarettes, neco wafers, ect) That's not even half of what they offer. If you get a chance, check this place out. :)
that "Elvis" animatronic is from Showbiz pizza time theater with Chuck E Cheese. he just does not work like he used to.
It was called chuck e cheeses pizza time theatre
Kirby super star Uhh dude it was never called that
Mystic Myrtle here is the timeline of Chuck E. Cheese: Chuck E. Cheese pizza Time theatere, Showbiz Pizza Place and then Chuck E. Cheese we all know and love as of now
@@plagueclaw1808 it was tho
Ya only his eyes and mouth work
Great now someone's going to make a five nights at jungle Jims
hypershadix1 that would be cool
hypershadix1.. as if FNAF wasn't bad enough and contaminating the fandom for this type of thing already. can't read about Chuck E Cheese or any other animatronics without finding FNAF b.s.
Destiny Emerick oof
LETS START A PETITION
Destiny Emerick I know, right?
Don’t even wanna imagine being an overnight stocker here
Stew Leonard's: We have the best interactive store.
Jungle Jim's: Hold my beer.
"Hello boys and girls! Welcome to Jungle Jim's" nostalgia.
Some of these animatronics are from the original Chuck E Cheese cast. wow
That tv near the bee counter looked like it was broadcasting a knock off of the Star Wars Christmas special. xD
+rainbowbunniie yeah weird stuff
The Carpetbagger yeah
This is the most amazing store ever
EDIT: NO SERIOUSLY I NEED TO GO HERE
9:44 the warblettes from Chuck E. Cheese pizza time theater
I thought they were rainbow
Robloxtrio yes they were, but when they first opened They were black
once I saw the title I clicked straight away XD
plus markiplier went to jungle Jim's when he was young, which is why animatronics are one of his fears
+Carcar 1987 he's afraid of animatronics? I adore them
I do too!
Carcar 1987 oh yay! im not the only only who remembers him talking about it!
but he is the king of fnaf so I'm sure he can face them now :)
Pedro and Elvis are old Chuck E Cheese animatronics! Elvis is "The King" and Pedro was "Pasqually"!
That place is ridiculously incredible. I need to go there after the thaw.
4:02 that's the king from chuck-e-cheese
Jacob, you saved my family's life with this video. We live in Cinci and every few months we end up driving 5 hours to, among other things, stock up on Cheerwine. Had no idea JJ sold it.
I, the local animatronic nerd, work at a standard grocery store and seeing this... man. Wish I was there.
who made ur pfp looks recognizable
0:01 Frankie the fish by gemmy in 2009
They actually have a hot sauce in that case that is over $1000 a bottle.
I have been to that place hundreds of times throughout my life. I go there any time I am in the area. Love it, but you have to be selective about what you buy since their prices can be a little high. Marilyn, however, is a new addition that I have never seen.
The antique cars and monorail are from King's Island (theme park on Interstate 71 north of Cincinnati.
Must be spicy
omg! that's my home town! loved going to Jungle Jims.. every once in awhile you could see them painting the palm trees green. heh... love this video.. thank you for the nostalgia!
Its amazing seeing those animatronics again after so long! Some of them where originally from Chuckie cheese before being retired. From what I see the king is being kept in somewhat good condition, and that makes me so happy ! 😊
This grocery store is so awesome!!! I would go there everyday. Ugh! I'm sure my husband is glad we don't have one anywhere close to us😂
I remember when Adam went here!
you mean your pillow? yeah pillow mc adam was great. We were good friends untill he met you. You kept sleeping on him and technically that's sleeping with him. So he has no life now because of you. He doesn't go out for wine anymore and he doesn't hang out with me and the boys. It sucks.
I think you are a little obsessed with Pedro! But that's ok!
Those looks like some pretty cold elephants and giraffe! Does a Robin Hood display encourage or discourage theft? :)
I'm so sad that carpetbagger didnt physically film under that tree where Robin Hood is because it's hollowed out inside and filled with all of the treasure!
7:37 Fun fact! I believe this is an old and re skinned pasqualli animatronic from and old Chuck E. Cheese restaurant! He was one of the main five performers on stage! Sadly they have been taking the old animatronics out of the locations due to children not being interested in them anymore...
Padro it's ok we're all broken at some point or another
Everytime I come up to Kentucky for Breyerfest me and my grandparents always head up to Ohio to visit jungle Jim’s. It’s one of my favorite parts of my trip every summer.
America needs more of these. Looks like they also re-purposed some of Chuck E. Cheese's retired characters. Great video!
And the animals outside from a local amusement park along with the Coney Island carts and a monorail! So much other stuff
I would really like to go in there.
Adding this place to my bucket list!
Watching this because I'm homesick. This is my grocery store. We went here once a week for thirty years. I moved to the west coast a year ago, and I miss this place so much.
that fake shark looked like it was in pain. like to help the shark
This has to be the drunk brother of Stew Leonard's.
Imagine working here and being the person who shuts off the lights, then closes the place at night... I live in Michigan and I have been to Cincinnati before, I wouldve loved this place when I was there.
Living in Cincinnati a trip to the Jungle is just a short drive away. Jungle Jims is my happy place.
Pedro playing hard to get..omg.. Laughing too hard at that at 3:30am 😂😂🤣🤣
I love Jungle Jim's! I go there probably twice a year, it's about an hour and a half away. I've heard they've had the monorail operating before. When I was a kid in the 80's I rode that monorail at King's Island, it went over a safari park. You can see the station with the actual trains to the back right corner of their parking lot, the one in front of the store is a prop. The train station has a huge snake sculpted around the outside. There's also a giant sea dragon sculpture outside near one of the rear entrances to the parking lot. My favorite thing to buy there is the fresh salsa, and I usually get Cheerwine and Ski soda- both are hard to find in Ohio.
+Dragonosx this is the first time I've seen cheers one in the north
Supposedly you can buy Cheerwine at the City Barbecue chain of restaurants up here, but Jungle Jim's is the only store I've been to where it's for sale.
I didn't know they had Cheerwine anywhere up here in the north. I always bring some back from North Carolina whenever I get a chance because I've never seen it up here until I saw this video. I live in Cincinnati about 20 minutes ... time to make a trip to JJ's to stock up.
Imagine being high and shopping here lol. There really needs to be more places like this!
Not recommended. When you got home and discovered you bought a $70 ostrich egg you'd be like....whoa dude.
I used to live about an hour away from there as a kid, I loooooved that place. The animatronics there worked so much better when I was a kid too. Sad to see all these years have taken their toll on the animatronics there.
Pedro and the 3 Crows are from Chuck.E.Cheese (The 3 crows were in Chuck's a LONG time ago, you won't find them there anymore though)
It feels so horrible if theres one kid lost in this store
4:04 the animatronic they called "Elvis" Is actually a "the king" From an old Chuck E cheese, they were built to sing Elvis songs.
it's hilarious because there's a small restaurant chain in Atlantic Canada called Jungle Jim's that has the same theme
The king seems like he has seen better days
4:16 that's kind of funny cuz there's a Chuck-E-Cheese across the corner
I do believe Jungle Jim envisioned all of this while on a 'trip'
The most cursed thing ever a band of cereal mascots on the boat from Gillian’s island singing the lion sleeps tonight.
do you drive everywhere or sometimes fly?
+Martin Oliver usually drive, occasionally fly
Literally AS he's talking about grocery shopping, I'm on the phone with my husband asking him to grab some groceries on his way home... LMAO
Banker: so I believe you want to take out a business loan?
Shop owner: correct
Banker: so, what will your store sell?
Shop owner: yes
When he said “aWHEEEch”. I felt that.
Jungle Jim's may very well be the most amazing store that I have ever set foot into.
I wish every grocery store was like this.
The Mad Nomadder I shop here once a week and grew up going here with my mother. Its a fun place.
See, what I hate the most is when animatronics try "being you friend". Like, no! You could crush me if I tried giving you a hug! FUCK OUTTA HERE!
Im confused, Im in awe, Im speechless....what a trip!!
Aww heck! I would have loved to meet you when you were in my neck of the woods!
Actually, I live about an hour from the Eastgate Jungle Jim's.
It's definitely sensory overload, but a lot of fun if you have time to just wander around.
And yes, I have actually gotten lost in both of those stores! Lol!
The wizard you saw in the picture with the monkeys was actually "Jungle Jim" himself!
Just a Tip: Always bring a spare suitcase for the Jungle Jim grocery shopping. He is the wizard in that card game.
"Pedro" is Pasqually from an old Chuck. E Cheeses.
The monorail came from Kings Island amusement park, back when they had the Wild Animal Safari. Although the track has not ever been completed, it actually works and and goes from the back parking lot to the front of the store. Jungle Jim uses it during special events like its wine tasting festival. There is another monorail in front of their second location, but it does not operate and is just there as a decoration.
I was so excited to see you went to Jungle Jim's! I have many fond memories of visits there with my grandparents as a kid and it has only gotten bigger and better... well except for poor Elvis and Pedro, they're looking a little worn down :/
Rewatching this, I realized that Elvis, Pedro and those crows are the King, pasqaully, and the warbletes from Pizza Time Theater
it would be so scary to work there after hours with all the animatronics lmao
I used to go to Jungle Jim’s as a kid! Seeing it now I don’t know how I managed to take all that craziness for granted...
This Store would be a Field Trip for me.👍🏼😉
Used to go to that same exact Jungle Jim's all the time as a kid, and I hated it so much. Especially that soup scan dude, scared the crap out of me every time.
Awhile ago in one of Markiplier's videos, Mark said that he used to go to this store as a kid and he loved that place, so I thought it was cool to see what it actually looked like! (I've never been there haha)
I heard him talk about it while he was playing FNAC.
@@TheLolFoxL0LBiTliterally just came from that video
My first Carpetbagger video! Great memories! Hey, you know another cool place to go? McKamey Manor! They're really nice there, and even offer free meals and haircuts
I love Jungle Jim's!
The King is back
4:24 "that thing's gonna take over the world"
-Some guy called Kenny apparently
The king looked like he needed to be maintained
Why do lucky as well as the rest of the animatronics and models look like they're staring straight into my soul? I.. I know they're not REAL, but...
YOU CAN'T HAVE IT! NONE OF YOU CAN HAVE IT!!
colly407 hahaha I totally agree with you
Too late! Your soul will wander around grocery store aisles for all of eternity!
Maggie H they want my fucking cereal
The monorail on the outside of the building originally came from Kings Island amusement park. It is a actual operating monorail and not just a display and was used there as part of their wild animal safari exhibit throughout the 1970s-1980s.
Ring ring... caller: “Hey, where are you?” (Shopper ) “I’m still at the grocery store.” Caller : “But you left 6 hours ago!” Shopper “ Why are you rushing me?”
love how Pedro is an old Pasquale
Five nights at jungle Jim's
Shut up
Fr though lol. Forget "Five Nights At Freddy's"
There was a lot of Christmas music being played. Haha... love it!
My man was about to go for it at 3:20 lol
I remember I was looking this up about a year ago and I still couldn't find it thank you so much
Those are Chuck E. Cheese animatronics, I know this has been said but I know the names
1: Elvis is "the king"
2: Pedro is Pasqually
3: The birds are the warlblers
the king and the warlblers are rare animatronics that were removed
Pedro is really hitting those shrooms hard.
it elvis at jungle jim's grocery store ever
sue!
Now that's a supermarket! we need one in Colorado.
U LUCKY DUCKS WHO WENT THERE! YOU MET THE WARBLETTES,THE KING,AND PASQUALLY THE CHEF!
When you made the hissing noise for the shark I lost it XD
Who thought the king could make it to the grocery store lol
I miss animatronics so much, yea they are still around, but barely work and function properly. I remember going to chuck - e - cheese and going to museums who had them as a kid, and they were so fun to look at !
This is so cool! I finally want to go grocery shopping.
KSEE-TV FRESNO! 3:25
Freshest food ever! From every country. Jungle Jim's started out as an exotic fruit stand. He's a millionaire now.
Wooo the king.
It's like a bizarre costco... I love it!
Cool to see you do this video! I used to live in the area and basically grew up in this Jungle Jims.
Going there next weekend! Might spend all day there...lol
Mark was right, this place is fucked
Acidic Rot how?
