I'm surprised it runs an entry delay when set to 'home and armed.' I assumed that because it's a setting for night time when you are at home, that opening a contact sensor would sound the alarm immediately! For that reason I added a motion sensor to the Echo Flex at the bottom of my stairs and set a routine that runs during night to get it to announce a reminder that the alarm is likely to be set, should I walk down the stairs in the middle of the night to let the cat out! Actually I'm rather pleased, as if I'm still so asleep as to not hear the announcement it still gives me a minute to cancel the alarm before waking all my neighbours up!
@@DEADCHANNEL564 well heard now about that you can exit and then arm it stay in your smart phone. But in my house I have Vivint home security when I arm it stay in the smart hub it instantly arms it with no exit delay either. And there was feature called quick exit. It Gives me 60 sec to leave my house without triggering alarm. It’s more like exit delay. Take care man and be safe. :)

You can simply change that setting in the app to have the alarm go off immediately in home mode

My alarm gives you around 10-15 seconds to disarm it. NOT FREAKIN' A WHOLE MINUTE MAN!

@girlfreind and boyfreind thats rude, but you type in the passcode(the 4 digit passcode you have) and then press the disarm button
You type in the code and press disarm, which automatically turns off the alarm.
