I tried this the other day And I was flabbergasted how good it ran on my quest 2 and how it looks. But At the same time I dont hear anyone talking about it....

I new the old ones, but i wasnt aware of the latest version that got full support VR. Amazing, and it makes a lot of sense to me to have a multiplayer ....and racing through gates or just free from A to B
Sometimes it's not about the graphics it's the gameplay
For flight sims graphics are just as important as gameplay

Yes you can use a hotas! Maybe it works well when just putting your controller next to you

I've been flying Aerofly in VR for years now (starting with version 2). Even did a whole series on it here on CZcams.
Imho it is still the smoothest VR flight sim experience, even if it still lacks things others like DCS World, MSFS, and X-Plane 11 have.
Agreed a very smooth sim in VR, THAT is what makes this shine.
I'm surprised any VR enthusiast in to flight sims hasn't heard of FS2. I'm glad some people are excited, but for me this is the updated version of FS 2 many of us had been waiting for, and were once hopeful for lol, but at full retain price. That's an expensive update. I hope nobody buys FS4 expecting IPACS to flesh out it anymore than a few DLC, and no your FS 2 DLC will not work, but I will be surprised if they really look much different, because the game on a whole certainly doesn't.

It's basically a slightly more finished FS2, with some of the features we were supposed to get for that title. If you had been playing FS 2 a few years ago in VR, you would not be excited, it's basically the same. The VR implementation is still the best in any flight sim, but on the whole it's pretty much still a bit more of a finished version of FS 2 for which we are supposed to pay again. No thanks.
I always come back to it for VR at true 90fps or more. Even if I have now 45fps with msfs2020 in VR I prefer my session with afs2 or afs4 with my own done scenery from tile in zoom 17 with aeroscenery. This sim starts very quickly, good sensation of fly and not the washout horizon...
Do you prefer fs2 or 4 for vr currently? In between the 2 but fs2 is 50% off right now in steam!
How do you turn off the hud? It really breaks the immersion. I remember it not being there before..couyi have just accidentally turned it on?
I see that there is a glider that you can fly, but are thermals and/or ridge lift modelled?
hello does Microsoft FS 2022 have the same ability to play around with the buttons and knobs in the cockpit?

I use to love fs2. At the time the graphics and performance was way ahead of the competitors. It only lacks better weather and night effects. I’d love to return back to Aerofly for its vr performance. But msfs looks too great night flights with an oled display
New to gaming, just received Quest3 for Bday. Purchased Aerofly FS4 on my iMac- how do you connect the 2?? Any help greatly appreciated.
awesome plug n' play flight sim...only wish there was a tutorial or some sort of guide for beginners like moi.
Online they have great tutorials on how to start these planes. You can find them on the official aerofly website!
Great Vr game.. However any idea that game works with Macbook and Oculus Quest 2 ?
No, complete surprise. I like to fly with HOTAS though and use mouse to click buttons. Hope that is still supported.
Hotas and keyboard is still supported!

What brand of VR set are you using?
This sim has a very solid foundation and good physics and graphics. However, airliners lack complexity. But I use it sometimes for VFR and I will try VR with it!
I am very new here and just bought Quest 3. I have an Intel i5-10400 CPU @ 2.9GHz and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 SUPER. Connected headset via cable. When flying Aerofly FS4 the screen flickers a lot and the index fingers on both hands starts rattling, not playable. Is this because of my GPU? Any advice or recommendation would be most appreciated. I connected my PC via LAN cable.

I got the game yesterday. Very impressive but I can't land properly yet. Also, it's hard to keep on the flight pattern. I'm not sure how to set up auto pilot while I'm in the air. Any thoughts?

I saw this and want it, but new to VR. How do you set this up? I bought a Quest 2 VR headset... now I need to download Steam, purchase AeroFly, and connect/play from a PC? I appreciate any guidance.
You nailed it. For connecting the quest you'll need to use the Link app and a USB-C cable or airlink if you have sufficient wifi and dont mind a bit of added latency.

I know Aerofly too well. It is not a simulator, but just a game. It does not simulate NOTHING, you cannot overstress the airplane, you don't get over-g, no stall ... so for what is it good for?
Good game. I just buy it and im enjoy. No probleme for vr. Good fps. But why blue hand. We are not chirurgien .lolWhy no skin color?. Devs are very stranges.
