If I was a roosters fan I'd be furious with radley. It was selfish, their season was on the line and he put his emotions before the team.
He and JWH are đ
As a non-roosters fan I think that's harsh asf to be fair.
You know and I know that the first sin bin was a joke... That wasn't a punch, worse niggle happens in tackles every week.
Then he's been sin-binned the second time for being the "third-man in" but when you watch it again, Latrell was clearly the third-man in & Radley came in to back up his team mate who Latrell was pushing his weight around on in a 2v1 while he was on the ground ... He was the 4th guy at best.
Out of all the sin-bins the Radley ones were up there with the more ridiculous calls imo.
And if I was a Souffs fan I'd be furious at Taane Milne for playing like a dog throughout. Both sides had some truly abhorrent moments, Radley was no where near as bad as some of them. He never started anything, only retaliated to filthy play

Buzz is the best part of the show!
Agree.
They are calling it the game of the seven sins.... Well, I am anyway..đ
Buzz is the Skip Bayliss of NRL commentary
But in this segment he was 100% right
All the ref had to do was pull both captains out early and tell them to get their discipline back and teams in check or the next guy is getting sent, not for 10 but for the game. Simple
Ref done that in the Storm vs Roosters and JWH got binned on the very next play
@@jest3167 yeah thatâs because heâs a walking penalty with no self control whatsoever

I thought Buzz was gonna die on the set he was shaking and didnât look like he had a pulse
Buzz has been losing the plot for years. Him, Kent and that Brent Read always seem to disagree with the majority's opinion just for clickbait journalism.
Imagine being a journalist pumping up the rivalry between these teo sides and then being shocked when it comes to the spite.
Go the Bunnies!!!!
Spot on...... for a week they have pushed the 'hatred' line and when the players do something the journalists and NRL have a sook.
He's normally impossible to listen to but I have to agree with Kenty on this. There was nothing tough or brave about the way some of these players acted. JWH and Victor need to wake up and learn the difference between being tough and being brainless. Not much at all in Radley's 1st indiscretion but what do you expect officials to do when you clench your fist and move it in the direction of an opponent's face. Again, that's just not smart. Nor is running into a scuffle that is just push and shove. You are obviously asking for another 10 in the bin and your actions have absolutely no positive impact. As for players lying down for penalties I really don't like seeing it but I'd be instructing my players to do it so all the cheap shots, including forearms in the throat of a guy already tackled and on the deck and slamming heads into the turf, are scrutinized more.
Wasnât a good game at all. Was the exempla of how soft footy has become
Radley is one of the best ball playing locks in the comp but the guy is a lunatic. Loses control and look what happens. Also I can't get over Elbows-Hargreaves looking confused after blatantly slamming the back of a guys head into the ground lol

Kent and No Buzz "What can we complain about this week?"
This game is nearly impossible to talk about. Taane Milne and Tom Burgess had shockers of a game. I know JWH and Radley were hot-headed, but Milne and Burgess didnât know their limits in relation to the high tackle rule.
what did you think of the 2nd Burgess sin bin? It looked like he made contact with the ball and then glanced off the ball into Lodge's head. I'm not sure what the rule is admittedly but didn't look careless to me like the Tedesco one did.
@@WillSavage The Tedesco one he was falling into it. The second one bounced up. There were a lot of Roosters high shots that were missed or not penalised though. Radley set the tone of the match by punching a guy in back play. It was all in after that. And as I was at the ground, was probably the greatest atmosphere I've seen at club footy ever.
Definitely a classic . You could not take your eyes off the screen in case you missed some âsortâ of action.

The bunker needs to be taken out of general play.. everyone lays down hoping for a bunker coin flip
Damn right! It should only be called upon in clarifying whether a try was scored or not. In general play, let the ref and touch judges decide if a play warrants a penalty or send off and in the event they miss, let the match review committee fine or ban the guilty party according.
Come on JW Hargreaves is a grub and can go too far Sometimes. But fck he's a legend and as a kiwi I love em.
There is nothing more entertaining than seeing him carry on about being targeted by refs when he uses his elbows every game...I still can't get over him targeting the young Manly player Zac Fulton on debut because he's too much of a cat to go after the big guys. Dude is an absolute flog
@@jacksonloram7887 maybe cause thereâs not many who are bigger then him? Kenty said it himself heâs a protector heâs that type of player, no matter who it is heâs going to square up against big or small, he did it with burgess whoâs a bit bigger then him, everyoneâs saying he took it to far when he slammed burgess but I donât think thatâs anything compared to what burgess did to 3 of his teammates? Clobbered Tedesco, a minute later did the same thing on lodge. Then elbows Angus Crichton? Seriously, heâs giving him a taste of his own medicine.
@@aussiecowboah8825 I don't care if he's a protector of his team, he's just a grub. He runs in with his elbows every game and always digs players head into the ground. He's an absolute flog, stop defending him. Don't get me wrong Burgess carries on a bit but he's nowhere near as bad as Elbows-Hargreaves
Hargreaves game on Sunday was no different to any other game he plays. Burgess is the one who spun the game out of control through his actions. JWH is being crucified for a head slam (and rightly so) but that was on the back of 3 high shots from Burgess that took out two of his players including his captain. Damning indictment on the officials that one man can knock out two players and head high another yet remain onfield. That is what esclalated the game and turned it into what it was.
@@jacksonloram7887 he always goes after the big guys you clown if he wasnât a rooster everyone would love him unlike nas who goes after the little guys

They didn't show this in the clip, but Tedesco's father texted Buzz during the game. Braith, who said how good the game was and that he wouldn't stop his kids playing, suddenly went quiet đ€

The one part I agree with buzz is the fact of players being out of the game due to foul play makes for a bad game, I think it turns a possible 2 point game going either way to the 16point rabbits win. I was at the game and was also disappointed with all the rabbits supporters around me clap and cheer when it came over that teddy failed his HIA.
Souths had less men for majority of the game...
I was at round 25, the entire stadium cheered when Murray was sent for his HIA.
@@SilkySkillsUnited Yes, and they Booed Latrell just for running. C'mon, it was a crazy game of attrition. I was at BOTH games, and both had a great atmosphere filled with rivalry. I think the Roosters booing, and cheering Murray's HIA was as bad or worse than cheering Tedesco. Murray out first tackle = Souths lost Rd 25. Tedesco HIA was a turning point in the final. But Souths still scored 11 on 13 - and that would have been demoralising. Especially as it was Latrell.

If Victor wanted to hit someone with a closed fist in a situation like that do you think he would have missed? Maybe he did miss and he should have made it count better but I don't think that is intent when compared to any of the grubby Melbourne Storm
No one could ever compare with any grubby Melbourne player
It was a game full of drama and brutality that could only be compared to an origin game it was a deadset war yeah it sucked Tedesco got ruled out however it was one of the craziest games we will ever see
Mr old man rugby league is an aggressive game
Great game. What we learnt from it was that JWH & Radley dont have the heads for finals football.
Yet JWH has 3 rings and Radley has 2
If it was up to buz they would all be wearing bandaids
Players that cannot control their emotions are generally a liability for their team. Unfortunately, Victor Radley is fast becoming that for the Roosters. JWH is simply a grub.
Spot on - the referees had to use excessive force to have some control on the game. The players/coaches, need to take responsibility themselves. All these people saying referees need to use common sense, well its very hard to use common sense when all around you are behaving like mongrels. Whether or not Radley hit the guy with any force ... its a closed fist at close range - the referee had to do something substantial about it. The only criticism I have is when the ref says its 'careless' then it should only be a penalty. But once he says its 'reckless' only then its a sin bin. But overall the responsibility rests with the players on this one.
Kenty sitting on the fence? đł
Well at least it wasn't boring, I loved the argy bargy in this match, I'm a Dragons supporter
CLASSIC
Can someone explain to me why Buzz, who's the oldest guy at the table, is the most aggrieved about the game? Like, wouldn't he have the most vivid memories of the days when you could rake dudes in the skull with no repercussions? A isn't logically leading to B imo. Also, a fair point that wasn't raised: does all the unsavory stuff happen if the biff is still in the game? Reasonable to propose that 10 minutes in the bin is less of a deterrent than an angry prop throwing straight ones at your jaw.
If a player has already been binned and commits a second binnable offence it should be an automatic send off
Go and watch rugby
im sure it used to be
Disagree, as a South's fan as I wouldn't back Radley being sent or Burgess, Milne on the other hand I'd cop that. Burgess and Radley fucked up a bit but not send off worthy, Milne was a complete idiot on that second high shot.
The best non rugby league game of rugby league ever . This game was a absolute joke . Stop start , players laying down. If the AFL want to promote their game just show people this game .
cmon buzz.. it was a great game.. maybe its time for you to retire..

NZ should have a good team for the World Cup. There is a major problem though, JWH & NAS maybe lucky if can stay on the field.
It's for that very reason Maguire may not put them in the squad. Too much of a penalty risk in close games. JFH is the equivalent of JWH but doesn't give away cheap penalties. Solomona will probably get selected but will play off the bench to limit the time he can give away a dumb penalty.
My team won brilliantly but the referee basically Lost All control of the game from the outset đŻ percent
I don't think Ashley lost control of the game, i think the bunker did thru his ear. The refs are petrified to take the field as they're the blame not the bunker, it's really unfair for them... Yeah i even stand up for the on field refs when they cheat my boys outta the game đ

Way too many stoppages it was a mess.
The worst part was the refereeing. Clear roosters were being helped throughout. That tackle from lodge putting his opponent vertical and dropping him on his shoulder and head and no penalty reveals just how one sided refs can be. Same with the sharks getting a bloke binned for trying to get to a ball Val Holmes didnât want a part of and Holmes diving over his own ankles to make out he was impeded to disallow a try. NRL hierarchy need to take a good look at themselves and the standard is refereeing and change it. Iâm done watching until itâs fixed and my team are still in the finals. Iâve had enough. The product being dished up is confusing. Might as well bring back the Grasshopper to adjudicate the GF. Same standard - shite!
I agree with the Reffing. It's very telling when Trent Robinson said he thought it was well reffed. They even missed the touch that the Roosters did that should have been 6 again. We saw it from the nosebleeds! Latrell hit twice on the head - clearly - has to wait for a penalty. (and why wouldn't you... if he gets up and stumbles he's HIA MIA for 15 min).
