Nas'hrah the Eastern Wizard is one of the most unique characters in all of Fear & Hunger. He can be found in the blood pits as just a floating head which will engage the party in an unwinnable fight where he summons the darkness beast to defeat us. However, if you obtain the eclipse talisman from a yellow mage, you can talk to and recruit Nas'hrah to your party. We find he is a near immortal new god who watched over the Grand Library in his reign.
He sought more power than the other new gods, but ended up being beaten by them which left him in his current state. His goal is to gain power and regenerate his body so he can defeat the new gods, and in a special scene we can see him burn one of them. He adds to your party by being a powerful, foul mouthed, and unkillable mage. Despite his immense power, Nas'hrah's ego is always his downfall and in the end he is scorched by the Old God Gro Gur auth and left in an even further reduced state.

That "elder god" was just a trace. Basically a tiny fragment left behind after the actual god left. So he's technically right it could very well be just a piss stain of that elder god.

The thing i love the most about him is the recruitment fight, i was well equiped and power drunk so i faced him all ready to die, the wiki said you have to talk it out and not antagonize him, i insulted him and went balls blazing... so he was impressed by my spirit and joined the crew lmao.

Interesting fact: Nashrah is actualy a semi companion in FaH termina if you play as yellow mage. In you story part you will find his burned head in the depths of the dungeon and he will quide you during termina festival, commenting most of the situations and characters. Even more interesting is that if you play as other character and kill yellow mage, you can get nashrahs head but he wont talk with either because he dont want or because you are not one of yellow mages

He’s a accessory you can equip, that gives you an pretty good effect (30%chance of reflecting magic attacks).
o'saa, one of the contestants and playable characters, (he’s a yellow mage) found him in the dungeon of fear and hunger.
If you’re playing as O'saa, there are some pretty funny interactions between those two.
Nas'hrah's face is so inconsistent that in portrait he looks like a white regular man while in overworld his face ages by 20 years and becomes more Asian
I mean he looks kind of maybe Turkish or Iranian to me, I never truly perceived him as white

I think it was specifically the fellowship, the current set of newgods, who beheaded him, possibly before they even became new gods, since Nashrah was the current god of enlightnment.
Lolz, this shows how different the level between the Old and New gods are... Nasrah can easily burn a new god but is easily burned himself by a TRACE of an Old God

Yeah Nas’hrah lives through it and is O’saa’s starting accessory in the sequel, he gets downgraded haha

I encountered a bug in my playthrough. Basically while I was fighting Chambara both the girl and legarde were hit by COT and got broken bones which set their health to 80, but after defeating Chambara and leaving the Temple of Torment their max health was suddenly set to 112. Did anyone else encounter this bug too?
It happens in termina too, Broken bone status is little bugged but idk Who causes it
I like how he had a unbeatable beast that never can be used again once hes in your party. Its like he just completely forgot about it

The darkness beast should be beatable. It doesn't make sense that the leftovers of Grogoroth can one-shot Nashrah, but you can survive a battle against him and get one shotted by the beast.

Hello, you are right you need the cube of the depths, but incorrect about the New Gods. When you recruit Nas'hrah, he tells you his goal is to destroy them and take them out of power, but will need his body back before he can do so. I have a full video coming out today with all of Nas'hrah's interactions and events :)
