Thanks for video. I utilized Dorman 5047028 in lieu of Ford part, saved me $16. (The Dorman elbow is a tad shorter on but I noticed it draining properly nonetheless upon install). I used a Dremel to clean/remove the tabs/burs. Applied a thin coating of sealer and slid the elbow on. Applied the aluminum tape in a few layers to stabilize and secure. Wish I'd added a hose clamp but should be ok. Now pulling back carpet to let dry out in due time. Took me about 1.5hrs or less to complete, fender well removal and reinstall being most time consuming part.

Thank you for this short and to the point video. This is exactly what we were looking for. The dealer gave us a possible estimate of $1000 as they didn't really know what was wrong. After watching this we got the part for $15 and did the repair ourselves in a few minutes. Can't thank you enough for this great information!!

Great video! I fixed my 2019 virtually the same way; I did add a swath of silicone around the grommet( over kill), and I spent a long time wet vacuuming my carpet; it actually wicked all the way back to the rear carpet. Aside from replacing the carpet; drying it is the only way. I also used an electric leaf blower to help dry the carpet. I did not pull my front wheel, but did remove the wheel well liner.

"Ford knew nothing about the problem". I work at Ford Truck plant. Bought new F-series every generation since 1989. ALL of them had rear window leaks. My new one this year: rear window leak. Ford Dealership solution? "Park in Garage. Don't drive in the rain." Wow. Can't wait for the new Silverado.

I switched from Chevy to Ford this time. Chevy screwed me on a shitty transmission in my at the time brand new 2017 Z71 LTZ. Had a shuttering condition going on which was a known issue with the torque converter. Their fix was change the fluid. Well that got me to the expiration of the warranty before it got real bad. Then they said sorry, we can't do anything. This 2019 had a couple small issues I fixed but other than that, this truck has been the best one I've owned. At 140k miles and still running/driving strong.

In the 4 months I've owned my '19 f150 super crew, I've had to get the panoramic totally gone through to eliminate the grab handle pee'ing on my while driving. I still have a wet driver side floor weeks after their "fix". They're charging me for another visit. They assured me they checked my transmission which has several times failed to go into reverse resulting in the truck rolling forward (backing up the driveway) and almost hitting my wife's car. I'm over $500 into FIXED and still have a wet floor. At least the transmission hasn't acted up since the last visit.

@@219jello these ford mother fuckers better pay for this shit! I broke half the plugs getting the wheel well out and it required a 13/64 socket….Jesus h Christ can’t they just make it a 1/4 inch?!? Anyhow, I’m the interim I just used a small piece of wire around the plug so it grabs the water away from the firewall. I’m keeping the carpet and padding up and will bleach the underside. It’s obviously been leaking since the day I bought it. Thanks again bro!!

A slow drip is always going to back up vs a steady stream. Looking at this video thr ac drain is a slow drip hence the back up into the cab...Manufacturer defect! I just got quoted $250 to fix it and that doesn't included mold removal just the part and labor. Looks like Ill be doing it myself. It's not covered because im 4,000 miles out of the bumper to bumper which is ridiculous because its been going on for over 4,000 miles and 2 its a manufacturing defect.
