This is the ONLY game that made me so emotional, not even overreacting. Such a well-made game for me. I thought I would only like it because of the Filipino aesthetic in the game, but well not only that I guess, lol.

crazy thing is that they've cannonically loved eachother closer to 7000 years, which I find adorable because the subtle things like the music swapping to happy when mark spots her in a crowd makes so much sense knowing the lore, so I really hope they get together in the end
Man, they are destined to be with each other but I do hope they still end up together in the last cycle despite the Ruling having no influence. It is still open for interpretation on what their fates may be afterwards but man, I am coping so hard that I wish they end up together without sacrificing Cathy. Although the ending is the most logical, it is indeed bittersweet.

The café's name was also Tadhana which means destiny in filipino. We also saw the butterflies linked to both Mark and Nicole watching the two of them from the window. They also glace to eachother and smile? I think they still feel that familiarity towards eachother? I mean they spent around 100 lifetimes together. They'll probably meet eachother again somewhere or even at the cafe alone. I hope that puts you at ease bro.

I just finished the true ending and man, I am left with a shattered heart and a pile of tissues soaked in tears. Mark and Nicole will remain to be one if not the most memorable pair of characters I have ever met. I really hope that when they saw each other again at the cafe, they will talk to each other and start a fresh new adventure together without the bonds of grief and regret holding them back. I like to think that they are destined for each other in the end. The cafe they both went to is called "tadhana" which translates to "destiny" in English. The fact that the last scene prior to the epilogue is named "Until Then" hints at the likely possibility that they will eventually be together again. But then again, that's just my hopeless romantic heart trying to make a headcanon to soothe my aching heart after playing this masterpiece of a visual novel. I hope the devs follow up with an art of MarCole in their 20s seeing each other again :') I'd be so so happy.

here's my take. spoiler risk! - - - - - - - - mark and nicole aren't destined to meet that early on. their original meeting was supposed to take place at "tadhana café," which means 'fate.' this meeting was orchestrated by mrs. borja and jake to ensure that mark and nicole could finally have their own 'happy ending.' the fact that they met prematurely caused all the anomalies in the story. in the original and true ending, they don't meet during their high school days. this is likely why the game is titled "until then." they need to live their own lives and find happiness independently until they eventually reach their destined meeting at tadhana café. ps: mag move on na kayo, dahil sila din magkakatuluyan sa dulo. kudos to the devs for this masterpiece!
