Hey folks, I’ve owned (and ridden!) a Gen7 since 2018. In sport mode, you won’t get 100 miles of range, instead you’ll be looking at about 30-35 miles. Also, as your battery discharges, your top speed will diminish; ~40mph under 80%, then lose a few more mph as you cross below maybe 60% (percentage thresholds are rough estimates). Cheers
The Gen7 reminds me of a dragon fly from the side. Looks pretty fun but prefer the look of the Onyx.

@KonaGaming well it does, because maybe those "problems" are something minor and subject like. I know how some people are, like, they just dont like the way "the seats feel"... So i would just change that out . Or people dont like something as little as their Logo or something dumb like that... I like making informed decisions. Not just people say they simply "Dont like it".
I ordered mine a little over a month ago and this was probably the best Monday Gen7 video I've seen, not gonna lie. I might try to make a little visor over the display to try to block out any sun...great call on that, man.
Definitely a cool bike. I wonder if there's a contrast setting on the display. Also they have dulling spray that would probably take care of that chrome bezel if it's an issue.

Have to agree that someone should have been present at the entry area so that wasn't the greatest first impression. However, I believe they have limited staff at these times and they're usually out back unpacking bikes and getting them ready for customers. Also, the USB is supposed to be tucked away into the headlight. It is used as a backup method for getting into the battery compartment in the event that the bike is dead. Plug the usb into a battery bank for example, then use the fob to open up the battery lid if needed.
So the bike cld bw charged with a decently powered usb power bank?

I finally got my S2 and ... day one on the first test run my suspension had a bad seal and all the air leaked out. Im waiting for a replacement fork. I really wish I could ride!!! I like the bike very much and add my own simple mods. I hope I ride soon.
The test ride was super awesome. I rode the Gateway and the Gateway Booster both were great. The customer service was excellent.
Update 1
I backed this company on Indiegogo. I was supposed to receive my 2 bikes in April/May my birthday was in April then Monday Motorbikes said June/July now Monday Motorbikes is saying August/September or maybe even later. I don't think it's fair that the new 3rd batch backers are receiving the same discount as 1st and 2nd batch backers. I don't understand why all 3 batches of Gateway frames are being shipped at the same time. 1st batch of frames must have been canceled to order the 2nd batch then the 2nd batch of frames must have been canceled to order the 3rd batch of frames.
June 26th Delivery Update
Hello Everyone,
We hope you are all staying well and safe. We appreciate your patience while we coordinate updates from all of our suppliers. Our manufacturing partner has received most parts from the suppliers. With an increased demand for personal vehicles and backorders due to COVID, our frame supplier is behind schedule.
Frames will be completed and bikes assembled by August 29th with deliveries scheduled for late September. We are working to get the frames completed earlier than the timeline above since we have all other components ready. Lastly, due to delay with our frame supplier, we have increased our order quantity to accommodate ALL Gateway orders currently in the queue. This means that batches 1 to 3 will be delivered to our facility in Los Angeles at the same time.
For clarity, here is the detailed timeline for all current orders:
August 25th - Gateway assembly completed
August 29th - Post production quality check completed
August 31st - Gateway units loaded for shipment
September 21st - Gateways received at Monday Motorbikes HQ
September 22nd to 27th - Gateway units shipped fully assembled to backers
Post September 27th - Monday Motorbikes will continually receive a steady flow of units from port on a weekly basis.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience and will continue to push to get you the Gateway and Gateway Booster as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
If you have not pre-ordered and are thinking about joining the Monday Motorbikes Family, we’ll be ending the campaign by next Friday. That will be the last day the Gateways will be available with up to 40% discount. The next update will be posted by July 14th and will include the status of frame production.

Today is October 1 and I still don't have my 2 bikes or 2 extra batteries. I have not received my phone call asking if I'm getting pegs or peddles. I have yet to be told what shipping is going to cost. I will never back another project on Indiegogo.

Above is a review in 2016. He paid and got nothing for 27+ months then had to wait months just to get the refund processed.
I'm not happy with getting a electric bike in the winter when I was supposed to get it in the summertime. I'm not happy thinking I may have to get a refund because the bike is never going to come. Monday has started a new project called The Anza and it feels like they totally forgot about the Gateway project and backers. They have time for a new project but don't have time to finish the old Gateway project. They took my money and moved on to the next batch of suckers.

I just checked my review on Google Maps and for some reason my review has been removed. So I'm posting it on CZcams. I see Monday Motorbikes now has two new projects and is expanding and I think everyone should know how I'm being treated after purchasing 2 bikes and two extra battery's and spending over $5000.00 and having them break there promise to deliver what I ordered when they said they would. It's like ordering lunch and the place showing up over 6 months late and expects you to understand they were busy with other projects and making videos and expanding. Anyone placing an order with Monday Motorbikes know your going to get the option to get a refund and have all your time wasted or get your bike when ever Monday Motorbikes feels like it but if your treated like me your going to get your bike over 6 months to over a year or more late. I'm sad to have to post this review. Everyone please be warned.

So far it sounds like the Monday bikes might have best range and be the second fastest. In the long run other than reliability, range would be most important for me. My super 73 S2 arrived last week. so far so good....also have an original Rose Ave with 2000 miles on it now. I was shocked with a buddy of mine. He has a converted tricycle with 750 watt motor 36 volt battery. In the last 30 months he now has over 12,000 miles on it. Second battery though.
I was thinking of maybe getting a faster bike which the onyx or sur ron might be cool OR hot rod the Rose Ave at some point with a 3000 watt motor and big battery. Really appreciate your work.....good luck with the channel. btw....
I have to say that Super 73 did a great job on the redesign of the S series bike. It is so quiet and tight like a new Porsche or BMW feeling. I just hope they get the motor problems worked out soon. My girl and i ride 2 up on them at times with the S2 suspension making a huge difference. Take care Mr E-Looper!

Hey Dillon, just wanted to let you know that you ARE an influencer as I watched your vids cruising around LA and that made up my mind to take the plunge and buy an ebike. I went with a 5,000 watt Enduro style ebike that I picked up for about $3k.

Good “First Impressions” review. I decided to get the Super 73 RX for me and the Ariel Rider D-class for my wife . Both are back ordered by the Ariel ships out end of July while the RX September! 🤷🏾♂️.

Dillon, do you suggest having a M1 endorsement to drive this on the road? Given the speed this thing can get up to, I just have a feeling a lot of guys get this bike without the endorsement and hope that they'll never get pulled over by the cops here in CA.
No, people get vehicles like this to avoid getting an M1. I would suggest having basic motorcycle safety knowledge though

I really like the looks of this over the Onyx. It looks more refined. Of course, looks are always subjective. The Onyx is cheaper but only if you skip on the better battery, turn signals etc and why would anyone skip on a better battery? For what I want from Onyx it will cost me 5500 minimum. But even if I go for the Monday, I’ll want to get a bigger battery too.

It’s a motorcycle really. It’s pretty cool. This bike was what got my interested in e-bikes. Then I found Super 73. Still haven’t received my RX but the more videos I watch the more I like it. The Onyx and the Monday are too heavy. I’d rather just get another lighter motorcycle.
My car lets me know how much gas I have before I need to refill it lol so no I don’t carry. Also onyx is still beast and I’m patiently waiting another 3 months since I canceled my pre order s73rx two weeks before it was going to be shipped lol
It’s not a mid drive it’s a different type of detect drive cause it’s a single speed

Correct. In mode 2 it is rated at 750watts and 20mph and classified as a class 2 ebike.
What really destroys the Monday design for me is the plastic they decided to use for the battery cover. That thing is so glossy and so scratch-able, it makes the whole bike feel like it should cost $500.

i could tell just from the beginning when the shop was empty and the one guy that was there couldn't even give you some basic information about the bike when asked... this product was ehhhh. ultimately all tho the bike is what you're there for... customer service can go a loooooooooooooooooooooong way in selling a product. Monday motorbikes needs to up step up their Customer relations. what a fail. Get an ONYX & call it a day.
