People should look at the punch stats...
Usyk landed 50 more punches and double amount of power shots
Which stats? Compubox said Usyk landed 170 and Fury 157 in total. I thought the right man won, didn't expect Usyk to be the bigger puncher.
@@saulwest8254 He's talking about power punches, not tye total punches.
@@ademolaaderoju1101No, he wrote that Usyk landed 50 more punches.
@@FBugleand he did according to official stats.
@@volo7877 thank you
Man you obviously watched the fight with the wrong glasses, Usyk won the first three rounds
I'll give him the benefit of the doubt and say he needs a new prescription. Either that or the wool was blocking his view of the fight.
Fury didn't hold on because Usyk didn't let him .
Couldnt agree more!!! 🙌🏻👏🏻
Yes, easy for someone to talk in theoreticals
I love how everyone says ‘fury would have won if XYZ’ aka if Fury was a better fighter, he would have won 😅 yeah I could beat Usyk myself too, if I was better
@@unbabunga229 - lol, many a true word said in jest
Usyk landed more punches, connected with more power punches, applied more pressure and was more aggressive than Fury. More than anything, Usyk deserved his win. What match the WBC's judge was looking at to score the fight 114-113 in favour of Fury, still remains a puzzle.
100 percent
@@No1pavers not 100% .
Team Usyk said them self post fight press conference , they thought they won the fight by about one round , go watch the press conference, so no one was trying to rob anyone it was a very very close fight , an epic fight tbf
The best man won but it was close .
I don't understand why people are siding with fury 😂 he's a liar and a cheat
@@BullyBoxer won by one round means 7:5. If you add knockdown, you come to 115:112.
@bass-badger5250 - yep, nowt so queer as folk
Fury wasn't in control. Usyk was punching Furys body at will. 😂 😅 Usyk blocked most of the shots.
So many people don’t respect body work. It’s embarrassing
If Alexander was blocking most of the shots, why was Alexander stunned around four and five problem was fury never followed through. I never carried on step back. The man won 100%. Completely agree Alexander was a better fighter and seen his shot and took it. It is boxing. You never know what is gonna happen.
@@No1pavers Most does not mean all, Fury landed a few really nice uppercuts, but quite a few were blocked too.
Usyk should have won by KO! The ref saved him. The right man won thank god.
The ref didn't save him, rules say if a boxer is 'tied up against' the ropes he's enttiled to a STANDING count...............and that's what the ref gave him.
@@andrewb2475he wasn’t tied up against the ropes. Usyk only needed to land one more shot and Fury was down.
@@CymruCelt01 If the ropes are the only thing stopping a fighter hitting the canvas and getting a count, rules say a boxer is entitled to a standing count..............right man won the fight!
@@andrewb2475 the rules also say the referee should not physically stop an opponent from attacking, unless the referee intends to stop the fight.
There’s no way the referee should have intervened, unless he was going to award a TKO.
On top that, the count was the slowest count I’ve ever come across.
Fury fell against the ropes, he wasn’t tangled up, and he was out of it. The fight should have been stopped there and then
@@CymruCelt01 Maybe, but the Referee will have seen the Wilder trilogy and knows Tyson recovers quickly and was in no danger, Fury deserved a count............plus the whole planet was watching the biggest fight of the Century, no way was he going to stop it!
Not sure how this guy reckons a draw would of been fair. Seems to have a noticeable bias towards Fury... Maybe because his ex charge Parker is Fury's best buddy...
I gotta agree, going by the 9th alone this fight wasn't a draw infact tyson was lucky not to lose the fight by tko.........Kevin's an honest guy so I don't know where this came from?
He had six of first 7 for Fury. Delusional.
I think you nailed it. On a related note - I have never understood why Parker pitches camp with the Furys.
Yes he does seem biased
He’s essentially paid by Fury, and in his network, so he’s gotta take his side, or his just bias for him
Usyk wom overwhelmingly and the ref prevented Usyk to finish Fury in the 9th and you dimmies what you were watching?! The only one in total control was Usyk!!!
Spot on…Fury was never in control of that fight. He did try and get control but it failed. Not sure what this guy is smoking…6-1 to Fury..😂
@@jpm2849 I think you guys are crazy. You can’t take it away from any of them. They both did an amazing job. I’m a big fury fan and Alexander won as he should’ve. I think they both had an amazing performance and I can’t wait to see what the heavyweight division brings next.
@@No1pavers My previous comment may have sounded a bit overly critical of Fury…not intended. It was a good fight…and Fury absolutely forced Usyk to perform at his best. There were a few points where control was genuinely swinging back and forth but for the majority of it, Usyk was controlling the action and was more effectively aggressive.
Usyk trailed at one point & was struggling with the distance (1st half)
What he did do... was show tremendous heart & perseverance to wrestle back control & drop Fury (2nd half)
I had Usyk winning by 2 points at the end of the fight... so the right man absolutely won.
Calling it overwhelming is quite exagerrative... it was fairly close fight.
Yeah, I think 7-5 or 8-4 depending on how you score a round or two
If you had Fury up 6-1 then nothing you ever say about boxing from that point on can be taken with any degree of authenticity or credibility.
Totally bs he doesn’t want fury disliking him .
I was thinking this as I stopped his yabbering just so I could scroll down the comments.
Usyk outlanded Fury with 50 punches, landed more then double the powershots, he haf a knock down, pressed the fight for every round and still you had it even Barry? I guess you have a dog in this fight, cause u are smarter then that. And yeah, i scored the first 3 for Usy and had it even after 6 rounds.
Same
I had it that way too.
I had it 4 to 2 fury after six, but it was almost a white wash after that. Congrats to the deserving champ usyk. Always was and always will be legend
The gentleman probably saw a different fight by mistake. Cannot hear this bs anymore.
This guy hasn't got a clue....you can easily give usyk the first 3 rounds with no problem at all.
First 2. From 3 to round 8 fury dominated
@@lolitapitpong3826I had it 4-4 after 8, Usyk won the first three rounds and the eighth
I agree totally, mate. Usyk never stopped pressing Fury, he never allowed Fury to rest
5:35 More rubbish ; that was never a draw in a month of Sundays.
You need to get people on here that arent biased ; everyone knows the links between Parker and Fury I mean come on man....
I think Kevin is still feeling the effects from that late K,O, Holyfield in 1984.
Fury in just one fight has swallowed more beating , including a knock down than what AJ got in 2 fights . Rematch is risking brain damage
But you could also look at it that fury won more rounds in that fight than joshia won in 2 buddy
@@Sean-pm3vdcope…buddy
@@Sean-pm3vd You must have been watching a different fight to me. Nonsense!
@@DonHalli yeah obviously was too you I had tyson winning 6 but loosing 6 plus the knockdown
@@DonHalli n don't say nonsense I had 7 people round we all fought fury was up easy through 8 but obviously usyk turned the script but don't dismiss what we wayched
It was NEVER a draw , usyk clearly won and arguably the ref and bell saved him getting stretched out 🥊🥊🥊
Kevin really needs to get himself to specsavers 🤓
Stole a heroes moment, typical fury
Heroes save boxing. Boxing is in rubble right now
"He never looked like being unconscious" lets be real he was a solid shot away from just that
his eyes were rolling back in his head
Definitely. Had the ropes not kept him up and the ref gave him a 8 count for the bell to go I think one to two shots more he could of been knocked unconscious and carted off to the hospital. He was very lucky not to be stopped. I hope mentally he's ok.
😂Thank god sport is a game of opinions!
Happy new year guys
No one would have complained with a draw....what is this guy smoking lol
Some would have. It was close enough that most wouldnt of been surprised but I seen plenty of people that had 116-111 and 115-112 cards for Uysk. After watching it back I had it 115-112. a few of those rounds were very tough to score.
It could have been scored a draw. I had fury up 5-1 at the end of the 6th.
This guy is smoking some weird weed.
He’s smoking when he airs is opinion and being factual. Continue fan boy, whatever makes you happy.
@@ladoohvillz9236Factual 😂Behave .
2:42 Thats rubbish. Usyk was already changing the fight before the big barrage in round 9. He won rounds 7 and 8
Round 7 was Fury's best Round. Usyk turned it around in the 8th round, and hurt Fury bad in the 9th
I had 7 as an Usyk round as well, but on rewatch I might have give it to Fury. One thing though is that the DAZN commentators need to take a look at themselves. The guy who had Fury ahead at the start of 11 needs a wee sit down.
Take away round 9 from the fight, and you'll see Usyk lose it. Round 9 won the fight for Usyk, that's where he landed most of his punches, capitalising on Fury's hurt to the nose. By the way, Fury still won round 12, despite the knockdown. Let's leave sentiments and bias pls.
Had him 5-2 down and then he took control

This has to be Fury’s biggest fanboy. How he had it 6-1 to Fury for the first half is anyones guess. Fury was on the back foot for most of the fight. Usyk was the one taking the fight to Fury. Usyk won that fight clearly,
Imagine being Fury watching back the fight, all that extra shit he was doing in the beginning of the fight 😂 for what?

@@paulhelsby im a huge fury fan, i was soo annoyed by the showboating i went outside! I could just see trouble ahead! Wrong tactics completely! He could have beaten him if he just kept the pressure up, instead he backed off! Unbelievable !! Tyson may have been enjoying himself, but i was just waiting for usyk to catch him!!!
@@lynnroach6738 Tyson looked amazing in those middle rounds, and because he felt great, found his range and had Uysk looking like he had no answers, the showboating come out. I'll be honest, my nerves settled. I couldn't see a way back for Usyk. but Fury's engine just like Bellew's could not keep up with the footwork of usyk and fury's legs started to slow in the 8th. Fury didn't lose on boxing ability like AJ did. He just lost because at his age with his lifestyle, he hasn't got the engine, no matter how hard he trained for that fight. Massively impressed with how Usky took those body shots and uppercuts in those middle rounds and still pressed on... it would have stopped anyone else from going forward.
Not sure this guy watched the same fight as i did last night. Usyk had the 1st few rounds then the last last few.and between them the ref jumped and stopped usyk sending fury into a deep sleep...
Fury won two of the first three on my card.
‘Anyone who knows anything wouldn’t have it 3-3 after 6, I had 5-1 after 6’ 😂😂😂😂😂😂
when it comes to decisions, volume and output matters and it was clear Usyk landed way more punches and outworked Fury
5:35 how do you get 114-114 when fury got dropped in the 9th?
Getting dropped does not win you any fight, getting knocked out does!
he scored one of the rounds even mate

Fury thought is was gonna be easy bc of size. He was so busy trying to avoid more nose damage he couldn't fight.
haha this guy has no idea of boxing... it takes few to realise the punch that started it all was perfectly placed on Fury's chin. Not only perfectly placed, but also came from a blind spot. Punch placement and timing is way more important that power, specially with someone who's IQ is so high. One more thing, if Usyk did not punch sufficiently hard, all the heavyweights would run through him. This is not the case...
'It's not like he got hit by 10 monstrous punches' did this guy not watch round 9? Usyk hurt Fury so much more than anyone else was able too.
That’s why I don’t understand why they hug after the fight and then talk smack about each other.
Entertainment
How did Usyk talk smack about Fury? He never has , despite endless provocation
Agreed@@jeprodigalson792
Sell the fight
When did Usyk talk shit? Never. It's only Fury the loser
I think Fury made the same mistake that AJ made ; he thought he could go in there and outbox the boxer ; had he stayed at range as he did in round 3-6 it may have worked but he conceded ground to Usyk and ended up on the ropes a lot at which point Usyk was within range and able to unload a lot of hooks.
I believe this happened because he's so arrogant he thought he could counter Usyks pressure but it was a big mistake.
Furys tactics were all wrong ; had he stayed in centre ring for the entire fight and got behind the jab he could have bored his way to a points win much like the Klitschko fight but his ego wouldn't let him.
6:20 Its obvious ; its the accuracy combined with the punch volume ; he throws more punches and lands with a higher proportion than anyone else. Not complex.
Usyk was 3-0 up after 3 if you don’t can’t Fury’s punches that land on Usyks gloves
I honestly don’t think fury will take the rematch with Usyk, fury came turned up in the best shape of his life he will get no fitter,he boxed & fought the best he can & will not improve more than he has,so imo he will get beat much quicker, inside info,Usyk made his first ever big mistake by doing 3 camps back to back & got tired (more than usual) for the rematch he will rest a lot spend time with his family then do a camp closer to the time then show up fight might & have much more energy than he did last time, plus the Saudi heat didn’t help either man
And the ref stole usyks moment to finish fury in the end of the 9th round im telling you now in the condition fury was there for the finish
I think you're looking at two fighters on the decline, Fury more so than Usyk due to lifestyle. TBH, Fury should have retired after the last Wilder fight It was the stuff of Hollywood to come back from where he was and that should have been his bow out. Fury looked incredible while there was gas in the tank last night and he was hitting Usyk with combinations which nobody ever had thus far. but that gas tank now has holes in it. As does Usyk's but less so, Fury dead on his feet for the last 4 rounds and he couldn't take him out. Fury Arguably won the last round too which shows you how fucked they both were. Usyk won't be champion for years to come. once Bakole comes through the rankings, he takes Usyk out. I even think Kabayel gives him a tough fight due to Usyk's age, although, I think Usyk is smart enough to bow out of the sport while he is on top, which Fury wasn't prepared to do because of the money he was offered.
I’ve always liked listening to this guy, but I just don’t know what fight he was watching last night because it certainly wasn’t the one the rest of the world seen, personally I think he’s judging it as Fury’s friend so he’s struggling to see it objectively, I was neutral and I gave Fury 4 rounds
Happy New Year???
Who's this guy Kevin? Is he the president of the Tyson Fury fan club or something? The stats are clear as day: Usyk landed 185 shots to Fury's 135, had 55 high-impact hits to Fury's 23, applied pressure 64 times to Fury's 28, and was aggressive 24 times to Fury's 20. But hey, don't let the facts get in the way of a good delusion, right? After the fight, Fury and Kevin seemed so disoriented that Fury wished everyone a Happy New Year-in May! Yeah, that pretty much sums it up for Kevin and his merry band of fanboys from Rngland.
Score it again with the sound off. Without the laugh track telling you what is true even the highly biased can see reality.
I was hoping to see Kevin give Usyk the credit he deserves, rather than make excuses for Fury.
A super heavyweight can’t beat a cruiser weight. Fury is overrated
It was never going to be 114-114 with the knockdown
I'm a Brit & I watched the fight with a bunch of Americans who didn't care who won they just wanted to see a good fight. They scored it 3-3 after six & 4-3 Fury after seven. The Usyk won, 8, 9, 10, 11, with The 9th being a 10-8 round. Minimum 7-5 Usyk. We all thought Usyk won a UD. Everyone was stunned hearing a Judge called it for Fury. I've heard people make better cases for 8-4 Usyk then a Fury won & why the Ref waved Usyk away from Fury when he was just about to finish him I mean ffs, what was going on there? The Ref saved Fury until the bell went. My family don't know why I love Boxing so much, as far as they're concerned every time Fury fights & gets knocked down, the referee invents a new set of rules which are made up on the spot during the fight. Why count to ten in the time it takes to count to 12 & then let Fury stand there protected by the Ref for another 5 to 10 seconds? Or in this case until the bell goes.
Did Bid Baby Miller had the chance to take it to the score card when we know he was hurt against Daniel Dubois?
Let’s face it Tyson since the three fight against Wider has taken a hell of a lot of punishment.
Farrrk!!!! Kevin's embarrassing him self. The ref is not a fan boy, he's meant to be impartial so no he's not to give Fury the benefit of the doubt
One thing's for sure Fury won't ever fight Joshua (unless he spunks all his money away), wouldn't surprise me if all 3 retire.
So this dudes advice for fury is to hold rather than fight? 😅😅
You are my hero usyk thank you,we appreciate your effort for making this world a better place,
Do for yourself
What complete rubbish, Kevin was adamant that Fury was going to win, he still sounds so biased. And he thinks most people agree with him that it should be a draw. WTF
Weird how bias can blind. There is no way Fury was close to a draw. Fury punches a guard then showboats and people think he landed something.
Kevin is not giving Usyk credit here....he's obviously in the Fury camp....keeps talking about Fury....but Fury lost the fight...Kevin clearly lost money on this fight 🤣😅😂
6-1? What fight where you watching. A match is judged via 4 criteria. The most important being rung generalship. The general was Alexander. Fury was in his back foot pawing out his jab and then clowning around. This was not a close fight. All the damaging punches were landed by the Ukrainian. Fury was on dream street in the 9th. The ref saved him.
Fury was up 5-2...after the first 7 but got beaten and battered for the rest and if the ref didnt step in he would still be on his back.
Great resilience- but he was bettered by a better fighter.
The best fighter won. Period.
Olympic goal. World champ in Baku. Undisputed cruiserweight champ. Heavyweight unified world champ. And an honourable man.
Happy New Year Kevin !!! 🤣😂😆😅
Fury only beat an old Klitschko and basic Wilder. He's not P4P. 😂
I agree with Kevin Barry about Usyk in the corner after the first 6 rounds...Usyk looked in trouble on the stool ....but Fury didn't take all the first 6 rounds for mine..I can see a 3-3 split after the first 6 rounds. Usyk won this fight
I counted at least 15 unanswered punches in the 9th - he wasn’t defending himself so the referee should have stopped it. If that had been the other way round, the referee would have definitely stopped it.
6-1 after 7 what fight were you watching? Usyk might as well not even have thrown a punch according to that, people are so bamboozled by the showmanship and posturing, you can't win rounds like that, but it obviously convinces some
What would the knock down contribute in the scoring where you have 50/50 ?? , would it remain the same?
No doubt you're a great Fury cheerleader...still underestimating Usyk and never giving him his due credit.
What a load of shit. Dude was drinking too much and clearly hasn't seen the punch stats
What a great fight. A very close contest, I hope we see it again 😊. Barry is right about the judge having it 3-3 after 6.
The truth is that so many people underestimate how difficult it is to tame Usyk, fighting Usyk is no joke! He defeated AJ twice for crying out loud, that's why I laughed when Kevin Berry predicted a Fury win and spoke as if Fury would just tame Usyk in the ring. Well, Kevin Berry and many others have been served dinner.
Great breakdown, thanks Kevin.
Usyk landed more punches and more power punches throughout the fight and then knocked Fury round the whole ring in the 9th until the ref saved him. The ref should have let Usyk finish him or stop the fight. The ref helped Fury survive the round
WAS NOT CLOSE FIGHT GUYS IF SOME ONE THINK CLOSE THEY NOTING KNOW ABOUT SPORT OF BOXING
Looks like the guy has lost some money on Fury.
The constant showboating didnt help (that punch on the nose seemed a big turning point)
4:11 What does it matter if he scored it 115-112 in the end? That was the score I had having given it 4-2 to Fury through 6...irrelevant
Simple fact is IF the ref did not get between them, the fight would have ended round 9.
Wrong again keven, the ko was stopped had the ref not stepped in,
Fury was good but ain't getting any better/faster. Usyk will win the rematch and Tyson will retire
No wonder Parker got rid of him, 👀🇦🇺
Good stuff
Barry you're a drunk. Usyk took 12 & 3.
All the judges gave fury 12 and I think two gave fury round 3
Wilder had hit him alot harder and other fighters and it didn't phase him. His punch resistance was worse in this fight. I suspect it was from the intense camp . His body at his age is having a hard time adjusting to getting out of shape then trying to make up for it in 8 weeks. He needs more discipline. If usyk had furys discipline he would have never even made it to the top tier. Fury has gotten by on size movement punch resistance and talent. He needs to focus and stay in shape. If he can and not party between now and the next training camp he can just focus on strategy and sparring and not just try to lose weight or get in shape.
It amazes me how many ppl believe that most KDs are caused by brute force. If you pause the 'tape' before the left hook, Fury had no idea that punch was on it's way....that's why he was hurt
Fair play to this proper coach, absolutely correct.Fury definitely absolutely treated Usyk like he was Tom Swartz in there .Zero respect for the power of Usyk its a worse performance than Ungannou for me .
I am no expert on boxing, but did no one notice Usyk took the fight to Fury, it was not fought in the middle of the ring, it was fought with Fury up against the ropes nearly the whole way through, Usyk statistically landed more punches and should have had a clean KO so WTF is this guy talking about ????
"It was a draw" but also "he was so gone he couldn't hold in the 9th"
It’s not good how he states that fury is known for resilience. If it had gone bad and fury suffered serious injury they would claim differently. He took a lot of clean punches and was more hurt than he’s been in any boxing fight he’s had. Fury’s hand were up in front of his face in the 9th but usyk went around the guard. Usyk is class
Honestly, I think Fury might have had too much respect for Usyk's power. He tried to stay on the outside the whole night and kept getting caught with the left while he was backing up. If he had employed the same strategy he used against Wilder in their 2nd fight he would have had a better chance of winning. He should have used his size to try to smother Usyk.
That's why he finally accepted the fight when he couldn't get out of it anymore.
He thought he might lose on points but not due to Usyk's power.
But he fears AJ's power and that's why we never ever will see that fight happening.
I also doubt if there will be a Usyk re-match?
100% the way I saw it. Thumb up Kevin Barry. Furry was rushed into the fight by Riyadh season timeline, was still sick 3 days to the fight - using nose mask. In camp with 7 little children and many family
I believe exhaustion plays a role too... the moment Fury's nose got burst, oxygen pathway got blocked, it was game over... Big guys can't feed their beasty sizes...
Usyk doesnt carry big power but he sets his shots up brilliantly and lands them clean....
With Usyks boxing ability and engine.... the rest of the Heavyweights are relieved hes not a really heavy puncher as well....
Despite him not being a huge puncher.... he still has enough in them to daze the big guys when he lands clean.....
He's great to watch.... the way he moves is a work of art....
Spot on analysis Mr Barry
The strangest thing was Fury's corner. When you listen in on rounds 10, 11 and 12 they were not telling him he was either drawing or losing, and to therefore go for it, they were telling him "get through these rounds and you've won". Absolutely bizarre thing to be telling your fighter when it was that close!
As Lennox Lewis said "If you are drawing, you are losing".
It was a great fight. Too many people on here have hatred and biases blinding them. But it was close.
And in regard to the standing count, both Lewis and Wladimir Klitschko said the ref did exactly the right thing. I think I will take their opinion
Wow Kevin has called this one Completely wrong.
It was like watching Canelo vs Billy Joe Saunders all over again, glorious
Bonkers. Didn’t expect this from a usually well balanced opinion.
I like Kevin, but I think his judgement has been impaired due to his friendship with the furys. "I thought if they raised both fighters hands no one would have complained" And that could possibly be the most stupid and irrational thing Kevin Barry has ever said in his life.
Fury has never been hit with a shot like the one in the 9th round. Even in slow motion it looks brutal.
Spot on analysis Kevin Barry
Im not sure if the rematch will happen
The Fury fangirl club ambassador trying to do damage control. If Fury was so dismissive of Usyk's power he would have been more aggressive and forced the issue. Fury was landing some nice flush shots in the middle rounds but there was no sustained attacks just single shots. This was because Fury was scared of getting clipped or gassing out and his worst fears was realized in the 9th lol
In the rounds were Fury waa seen to have won, there wasn't much activity. And throughout out the fight, Usyk was the aggressor. Its easy to see how people believe Usyk won
What is he talking about? I had it 3-3 after six and I'm hardly an expert. The punches landed stats back that up too. 6-1!? Fury spent the first two rounds showboating and giving the rounds away.
Speaking as a fan I have not the slightest interest in a rematch. Usyk has proved himself the best of the best. Apart from not reprimanding Fury for the multiple instances of foul play, the ref also saved Fury's recently healed eye injury and sparko knockout from a knockout left from Usyk in the ninth. Disgraceful how rigged this fight was yet the real Champ emerged with flying colours.
